      I am dying to learn how to ride, but everyone tells me to stay away because is dangerous!

    • @rickdee67
      @rickdee67 3 роки тому +1

      @@BEARDED_VATO it certainly has potential for danger but I assure you that it can be reasonably safe or as dangerous as you make it! My dad rode over 45 years and never crashed or went down! You could get hit by a meteor sitting on your couch ! When I ride my main goal is to get away from society, ride vigilant and follow several basic concepts! I DO NOT LANE SPLIT! Stay aware of your surroundings, never linger in a cars blindspot, DO NOT race through slow traffic! Assume car drivers don’t see you and never ride with drugs or alcohol in your system! Too many riders ride like they don’t care and that gets them hurt or killed. I personally live on the edge of town and when I ride I usually head outta town into farmland , country roads. Common sense is a necessity to stay safe and I LOVE riding my bike, I rode from Omaha Nebraska to Key West Florida and back in April this year and felt pretty safe mostly, see my vacation video on my UA-cam channel! And most important I don’t let other who don’t have experience advise me on anything that they know nothing about! Peace

    I know absolutely nothing about motorcycles, aside from the fact I like the idea and look of them. I came across this video and realized she looks about my height and actually can reach the ground standing with her bike! One question (please forgive my ignorance) but is riding a motorcycle like shifting gears in a stick shift car? ☹️. I hate stick shift cars. Are there motorcycles where I just turn the key and go according to speed without clutches and shifting and whatnot? I’m confused how they operate.

    • @AgirlAndherMOTO883
      @AgirlAndherMOTO883  3 роки тому +1

      Hi, I am 5’2 but my bike was lowered so I can be able to reach the ground standing. so basically is the same just different position of the shifter, brakes, gas & clutch. Harley Davidson just came out with the an electric bike & there’s also mopeds(automatic) no need to shift there👍🏼👌🏼 I hope this helps you🤟

    • @t.s.racing
      @t.s.racing 3 роки тому +1

      Connie, you can research RIDLEY MOTORCYCLES, they're unfortunately not made any longer but they were fully automatic. No clutch, and no shifting. They were a excellent motorcycle for what they were, and still bring a good price, when you can find one for sale. They are PERFECT for the vertically challenged as well. I sincerely hope that helps you.

    Judging by the tank graphics and lack of ABS, I'd guess that Iron 883 is a 2012 or 2013 model. I have a 2011 Iron, it just has Harley-Davidson on the tank and no eagle. I've installed drag bars, Python slip on mufflers, H-D bikini fairing and a Biltwell "Speedway" seat and about two dozen other custom modifications. Enjoy riding your Iron 883.

      .Thank you I hope you enjoy yours too! You’ve done some nice upgrades! Yeah! It’s a 2013, I got pretty lucky when I bought it, got a good deal as it is, just bought the fairing later and now I need to buy a saddlemen seat and tires ;)

    I have one question, do Americans have to Pass a Test to get a driving license for motorcycles?

    • @AgirlAndherMOTO883
      @AgirlAndherMOTO883  3 роки тому +1

      Yes we do, but there’s also a MSF course you can take(2day course) if you pass it along with test you get a certificate then you head to the DMV to do the written test, with certificate you can skip the driving test at the DMV which is what I did. The other option is just to go to DMV and do written test and driving test.
