And hoped he could help Tony become a better man. After all the village Tony attacks after suiting up the MK3 for the first time was Yinsen's home village before they captured him and killed his family.

Obviously it’s common knowledge by now that Yinsen was at this party and this is where him and Tony first met, even referencing it in Iron Man 1 which took place 9 years later, but what a lot of people don’t know is that the heart doctor who Yinsen introduced Tony to is the same doctor that removed the shrapnel from his heart in Iron Man 3.

@@ch-p2861 In Iron Man 2 there is a battle in New York where a little kid in an Iron Man helmet raises a fake blaster at a robot that's about to kill him and Tony lands right behind him and blasts it before it kills the kid, Tony says "good job, kid" then flies away. It was a popular fan theory that the little kid was Peter Parker. It made sense because it was in New York, where Peter grew up, it was a child endangering himself for the greater good, which is something Peter does as well, and because the kid was about the right age to be 15 in Spider-man homecoming like Peter Parker.
Marvel later confirmed the fan theory, which is what the original comment was joking about.

For the most part, I understand that most Iron Man villains have overreacted in their blaming of Tony. But not here. This one took it too far, as per usual, but his own personal vendetta against Tony is actually *_personal._*
Tony mocked him, he overlooked it and thought he might have one person call him back. And then, Tony, at the last minute, says he would *_love_* to work with him and then for him to wait on the roof. He made the offer, not Aldrich. Aldrich thought someone finally saw him outside of the body deformity, bad teeth, and long hair. He felt *_seen,_* and Tony knew the guy was still up there, waiting for him nearly all night. Tony mocked him and then humiliated him for the purpose of either using Killian as an example or just to make fun of him.
Killian was someone good once, and it only took that one little push to start eating at him. Every time I watch this scene, my heart is heavy. Tony is the good guy, but I can't help but feel bad for who Aldrich used to be.
And it only took years later for Tony to regret his decisions.

I wish marvel showed Tony more thankful to Dr yinsen. Maybe look after his family or develop his hometown of gulmira. Maybe remember him in a flashback scene or thank him. Something to show he did not forget his saviors contribution. That man saved his life twice and over. Once he did the heart surgery, 2nd he distracted the terrorists so he could have enough time, 3rd he gave his life to save tony and gave him a purpose, a mission. Until then he was living a hollow life. I really wish yinsen was remembered more with a bit more respect and reverence.
