I'm really not such a great person. I've done a lot of things I regret that have hurt people I love, and I'll never see them again. I've almost lost hope at this point that I can change and be better. I'm sick of the same old mistakes. I want to be better for the people I care about but I just keep failing. Undertale's music has seen me through a lot of these dark times. But trying to find the 'determination' to carry on and become better is getting harder every day. I'm sorry to anyone who reads this. I don't exactly have anyone to tell this stuff to so I guess I just... Needed to say something, somewhere, have it written down. At 5:58 the first half gets repeated (just the end is different). But i agree he did a really good job ! ^^
PHRASING
I wonder, what moment in Undertale made you cry the most? Or hit you the most in the feels?
It's very hard to make me cry. Only the very bests of movies/games/visual novels managed to do that. And I didn't cry during playing Undertale. Except one time.
At one little moment most players probably didn't even pay any attention to.
There's a broken statue in Waterfall and rain is pouring at it. You can give it the umbrella to cover it from rain. And when you do that, it plays a little melody.
When I played for the first time, my reaction was 'oh, that's nice'.
But when I replayed the game to complete Pacifist route, a realization came to me what exactly happened there. It plays a melody, as if in gratitude that I even noticed this pile of rubble at the side of the road, and more that that, was willing to help it, showed it kindness. It pulled some string in my mind that probably even I don't understand and I cried like I lost my mind.
When I finished the pacifist run for the first time and understood everything like who really is flowey or all the real friendship that has created between characters and me and had to say goodbye to asriel after a big hug... That was a part of the game full of emotions and sadness for me
I cried when i couldnt save Asriel
I would say when I had to fight Asriel, but for me, personally, having to kill Sans was way more depressing.

He entered the castle and collapsed.

The kingdom fell into despair.
The king and queen had lost two children in one night.
The humans had once again taken everything from us.
The king decided it was time to end our suffering.
Every human who falls down here must die.
With enough souls, we can shatter the barrier forever.
It's not long now.

I can feel the emotion you put into it, almost as if I could read the story in each note.
Being an Undertale fan, determination is a small word for what you are skilled with. I could tell you I was amazed, but it is still a small word, so guess that the only thing that I should say is...that I am speechless! You are a good pianist, and I hope that one day I can become as good as you, not only playing a masterpiece, but making other people feel it.

I have been in a resurrgence of Undertale related nostalgia recently and this hits the spot perfectly! From playing the game again and just listening to the limitless covers of megalovania on youtube, Undertale retains its touch of excellence to this day. I am totally adding this to my personal favorites ♥️. Keep on keeping on friends 😘
For some reason, I just feel like I've lost something when listening to this. Like something really sad happened and now I'm fricked. But nothing happened. Undertale is an emotional Rollercoaster that makes people reflect on everything.
It's not an understatement to say that if it weren't for Undertale, I very well might not have ever married the woman of my dreams. Because of Undertale, I saw her for who she truly was. This game taught me to love. This cover perfectly encapsulates all of those precious memories. Thank you :).
i dont comment often on anything, but i felt the need to say something here. great job. i love what you did with this piece. i cried, and i cried hard. as someone who lives in a rough household, as well as both a pianist and an aspiring composer/arranger, i could feel the heart you put into it. im gonna be moving away from the only people i call family in a month’s time, and i already know its gonna be hard, especially approaching my junior year of high school. this game, and this piece of soundtrack has so much meaning to me. you took the light the song already had, and made it warmer and brighter. thank you, and once again, great job

This piece had same effects on me. While learning the patterns of this piece and learning those I too felt and acknowledged the effort and warmth put into this piece. I also love seeing people getting supported and helped by music and I also think that theister himself is happy about helping out someone he doesn't get the chance to help in his normal day routine. The lore behind the games are intriguing, the characters are quirky and diverse, and the soundtrack of course is unique yet all catchy. The beautiful part of undertale is the gameplay and music. I really like how undertale portrayed light, soothing music to the heavy and tense. It is like anime music that can convey feelings that well.

I like how simple and raw this whole composition is. It doesn't need any embellishment or added flair, the music and camera angles alone are more than enough to deliver that emotional gut punch.

Some may contest, but to me you're the best anime pianist that ever lived. It's not about how fast you can play, it's about the tremendous amount of feelings you manage to share with us... and this track fits perfectly.

I’ve played a lot of video games but undertale will always be my number one favorite. Even if I play other games, other games by Toby Fox even, they might be better in quality and polish than undertale but it will still be number one because of what it did for me. It made me who I am today, and taught me lessons I’ll carry to my grave and pass on to my descendants. I had never played a game like it before, nothing made me feel the way undertale did. I don’t know if much else will. The main theme to this day is a song that makes me think of love, security, family, and feeling like you’re home. Undertale is a part of who I am, no matter how old I get. Thanks, Toby. Thank you, wonderful fans that elevated Undertale to what it is. Thank you theishter for your contributions to our happiness. Jokes aside, this is a amazing and moving performance. I don't know why but your performance us quite unique from others that I've watched, maybe because others use a digital piano and you use a acoustic one or maybe it's your arrangement, or both.
