Update 3-6-23: After taking the test I see that this video is very helpful. The question at 0:23 looks similar to an official question on the test. There was another question where the technicians differed in opinion on which alignment angles control arm bushings change. 2:41 There was a question similar to this one, but the pull was during acceleration, and one of the answers was not torque steer. 3:33 focus more on the procedure to changing ball joints. I found one of the questions ridiculous, it asked if you have to compress the spring on a Mcpherson strut in order to change the ball joint. 3:50 There was a near identical picture on the test, except the dial indicator was on the ball joint's stud.
I watched your A4 videos right before going into the ASE test and passed with 34/40 correct!! These videos were very helpful. They were clear and concise and was the exact help/refresher I needed. Thank you!!
I got an ASE question that said. " if the vehicle was in an accident and when they performed and alignment check and the camber for the right side read negative 5 degrees" That question threw me off.
