Loved this video! My daughter is 8 and draws almost non-stop. I can already tell her style is evolving. She gets frustrated watching people who are older because they're more skilled and their drawing is more polished. I tell her to be patient, and that her skills will grow. Loved sharing this video with her so she could see what I was talking about!

I’m 15 and have been drawing since I could pick up a pen. 100% true that she will get better as she gets older and figures out what she likes!!! I still get frustrated seeing people drawing for 20 years, just have to remind myself it’ll be me down the line and not to rush it
I’m 16 and I got away better I used to say stick men when I was 10- and now I draw anime and cartoon like art styles
As A 12 year old in middle school I still go through that sort of struggle looking at other people’s art and saying to myself “I wish I could draw like that” “My art no where as good at that” but every once in a while I’ll say to myself I just need to keep practicing and having fun doing what I like! I hope your daughter has fun drawing and improves more I also recommend music for inspiration

This is such great improvement! I’ve recently started to get into watching art channels and it’s so inspiring to see how amazing artists become who they are today.
I’d love to do redraws, but unfortunately I don’t have any old sketches or draw as much anymore. Most of my family isn’t as supportive of my hobby and I ended up having to throw all of my art away.
Seeing this makes me want to try out art again though. I may even start posting it online to share with others, but mostly to be able to see myself improve without throwing it all away!

Please don't think this is a troll or bad criticsm but when drawing shapes on folds of clothing the shapes bend with the fold. The circles on the dress, for instance, wouldn't be full because the fold would hide part of it or distort it in some way. Again not trolling just trying to help. 'cause I'm an amazing artist that never makes any mistakes lol
