Hey apple, I really love your artwork and I myself have a love for art but, and I'm sure many of you are in the same boat, I could NEVER afford Copics. I'm not usually the type to suggest videos but, I really would like to see the difference in quality with Sharpies and Copics since I hear a lot of mixed opinions on their similarities despite them both being alchohol based, and they are my most used and owned brand. Hope this helps for an idea in the future!

Ohuhu markers come very close to copics and are not very expensive. Only downside is that ohuhu cannot be refilled so you need to buy a new pack of markers to get that same colour. Ohuhu is also great for beginners. Drawingwithwaffles had worked with these for a long time and has made amazing art with them. :)
@@Kaasmix Thank you for this comment! I will most definitely take a look at them since most markers I hear about like Artistloft, Copic, Prismacolor etc are usually around $8.00 a marker in my area so being given this info is very helpful :)

I've own 2 full sketchbooks, and I always had a thing for filling up every space in it and not leaving many blanks, like say I was drawing a character I'd constantly re-draw to fill up the whole page.
Watching this video has really helped me realise that I don't have to fill up an entire page in a drawing! :) I really, really love how you drew characters that barely took up any space but helped visualise your art style and improvement over pages.

You are such an inspiration to me! For so long, I was just drawings other peoples drawings, basically copying them. I was to scared to make an OC because I thought I was going to suck. But, watching your videos has inspired me to go out of my comfort zone. Now I'm making my own drawings all the time, only using references to know what they look like! I really want to become an artist, and I'm improving everyday! I got my first set of Copic Markers for Christmas this year, all thanks to your videos and inspiration!!
