@MrZanandran Yeah Muse still does great with what they make but just not how they used to, although they love their music so much they want to explore new types of music even if it doesnt appeal to everyone. Pop music is a mixture of good and bad in my opinion, the more comercial bands/artists that don't even write their music spoil what music used to be about and still should be but on the other hand the good side of pop music are poppy because they have talent like Muse.
@davorm5 Do you know what poppy means? It means popular, it's not a type of music, there just songs that are more popular. Muse's last 2 albums have been too poppy and need to go back to their old sound which is where their real muse fans started to follow, OOS and SHOWBIZ will never be beaten. they were the best 2 albums. I would love to hear them play a riff as good as Dead star again but i don't think they have it in them to get the inspiration to make something so amazing now
If there are any other fellow drummers out there with a half a brain, I think we can agree that this is nowhere near as complex as the live versions played by Muse so far, so thus, it's a cover. It's a decent cover, but nowhere near as technical. Gone are Dom's drum fills beginning @ 1:30. ALL FOUR OF THEM. It's just dead silence. Dom doesn't leave space like that.

I would love Muse to add alot of distortion to their next album, there poppy and more recent songs are nothing compared to what they used to produce
