I am a Chicago based artist, entrepreneur, and retired (at least for now) Nurse. Besides art, my passions are skydiving, scuba, yoga and travel. Skydiving and scuba have greatly influenced my art journey. Just like in fluid art and epoxy, with skydiving, fluid art and epoxy, you have to be in harmony with your surroundings, a collaboration with the elements if you will. If you hold on too tightly, and try to control too forcefully it rarely goes how you wish, but if you work with the paints, air, or water, everything gets easier, and becomes harmonious. And just like with skydiving, I often visualize a pour many, sometimes hundreds of times even before I start, so that I have a clear vision of how I want things to proceed. This allows me to let go more completely in the moment. If you would like to learn more about me and my art, please stop by my website:

I'm in the same boat Taneva with chronic pain. Gel printing and Alcohol ink is always a wonderful creative outlet on those days you want to be creative, but just don't have the stamina to mix and tilt paints. Thank you for this wonderful and informative video! Great pulls! 😍 Sending soft hugs 🤗🥰💕
Great video Tavena!….Beautiful results !❤💕⭐
Thank you for sharing your personal mental and physical health issues ❤. This piece of artwork turned out beautifully 😊. Loved the layers and colours.
Taneva I am so glad you are sharing this type of art. I have chronic back and leg pain. I have had it for years. Since my pain is intense, I am not able to do much of the fluid art either and just so sad because I truly love doing it. Because of wanting to create I have started watercolor painting and collage. As you said this is better on our body and we still can do our passion of art. Thanks so much and I always look forward towards your videos. You are so talented.
