Tigertail Osprey

On a recent visit to Tigertail Beach in Marco Island, Florida with some friends we came across an osprey circling the beach above us in search for breakfast. I was too far and on the wrong side of the light to have any chance at capturing decent images. So I switched to 4K120 video in crop mode (2.3x) on my Nikon Z9. The video is quite shaky because it is a bit tough to handhold the Z9 with the 600mm F4 FL E with the 1.4TC attached at such high magnification (about 12 lbs). My friends, Juan and Roberto, who were closer to the action were able to capture fantastic stills of the osprey with talons stretched out just inches before piercing the water below.
