It’s my head cannon that Morgan just hadn’t gone through the Nightsister rite of passage similar to the one Ventress puts Quinlan through in dark disciple. Upon rewatching the episode, her markings almost look painted on, so maybe she was gifted the powers as she trains/prepares to face her final test before being baptized into the clan properly. And when she does receive the gifts from the three mothers on Peridea the markings definitely look more permanent.
So cool Obi Wan showed up. Qui Gon says he has a particular set of skills in the Skywalker saga, I like how Lego Star Wars is funny.

(although admittedly, I was very tempted by Lando's pristine Falcon from Solo)
I bought the Force Awakens falcon but it fell off my shelf several years ago and I never got around to putting it back together
On the contrary, I don’t collect Lego, I like it but not a collector, and one of the few sets I have is the sequel millennium falcon

Nightsister magic has weird rules, but Merrin probably learned the magic while Morgan was “given” her magic by Talzin via her tattoos, and they were taken away when the connection was broken
Merrin stayed in the enclave, studied the old ways, dominated the Nightbrothers and kept using ichor and magick. Morgan left the Nightsister enclave after the destruction. Morgan became a capitalist and Merrin became an unofficial Nightmother.
I figured the difference was just that Morgan was given power by the Nightsisters but hadn't fully learned it, so when the Nightsisters' spells failed she lost the power they gave her, whereas Merrin didn't just share in the sisters' collective spells but actively had to learn and maintain all of those spells herself.
Essentially, Merrin kept her magic because she was able to actually put in the work.
Your recounting of your theater experience made me feel feelings for you. Like I know Ewan was there and that's rad AF and worth whatever discomfort you had to endure. But. Y'all need Alamo Drafthouse. So. Bad.

Q&A: If Barriss, as a force healer, got visibly older, than would Grogu, since he knows how to force heal, get older if he constantly used it or would he stay the same and look older?
Does healing cost a certain amount of days or a certain percentage of your like? Grogu got enough days to give, if 900 years is their lifespan.

Heres how I get around Palleon. Thrawn is still his superior even if he’s not working direct under him. Maybe they met before and asked to keep an eye on things.
So regarding the Pellaeon issue, the subtitles on the episode spoiled the fact it was Pellaeon and I have never read 'Thrawn: Treason' before this. So I just thought that TOTE Episode 2 took place sometime between Thrawn's promotion to the rank of Admiral (whenever that is in the timeline) and Rebels season 3.
Star Wars should post an article or something 6 months or whatever after a show drops sharing all the little production easter eggs like the matte paintings and stop motion stuff, you know the type of stuff that would come on dvd extras. With enough time post the show, some may go back and watch again now looking for the details.

Maul tells Ezra in rebels that the night sisters use an aspect of the force but it was their connection to the planet that made them powerful. Loth wolves also have a deep connection to lothal. Merrin stays and Morgan leaves so I think it makes sense. Windu calls magic an illusion and death can make it go away, just like savage returns to normal at his death
Also, if it's related to the Force: "Talent is a factor." Maybe some, like Morgan, have less affinity. Most of the Nightsisters we've seen just use weapons.
I cannot express how much I appreciate how humble and full of joy for what they cover these folks are. Thank you thank you for your work.

The way I interpreted what happened to Morgan was that the tattoos that disappeared were just a buff that was applied to her and she never knew or bothered to cast the spell to apply the buff back onto her whereas Mirin was a pretty experienced Nightsister before the fall so she would have put the buff on herself at some point.
Q&A: As a huge fan of Star Wars reference books; when are we going to get a proper “The art of Star Wars: the Clone Wars” to match the one we got for Rebels? What other reference-style books are we missing?

My Parents Basement is a fun place. It’s been a while since we’ve been digging for books. I really liked the Barriss arc. She needed to have more story and they delivered!
I like the loss of identity, I think Morgan gave up or accepted that her night sister clan is gone and her tattoos disappeared. But Merrin is still trying to hold on to who she was.
I get the vibe that Morgan was more trained as a warrior and Merrin as a sorceress, maybe that's why they don't have the same connection to their magicks

The hair stylist that worked with Diane for the episode The Jedi actually leaked on Instagram at the time that Morgan is a Nightsister, so it's been ''confirmed' since the start, and indicates the writers knew back then.

I think those lamenting “what if Star Wars” being Lego are more saddened at the lost storytelling potential similar to the Infinities Comics, because it’s pretty certain Rebuild the Galaxy is gonna be a comedy.

Q&A: I just found out recently that the AT-ST in The Empire Strikes Back actually has a very different design compared to Return of the Jedi (different head and much longer legs). Is there an in-universe reason for the design change? Or is it a movie quirk just left unexplained?
In-universe, it’s probably the same explanation as the one we have for the two different AT-AT designs we see between the movies, Rebels, and Fallen Order.
It could be she isn't the one who cast the spell on her for the facial Markings but when the castor died the Markings went away

I believe Morgan lost her magic when the mountain clan healed her with their magic and cancelled it out or they removed it as they use magic from the light side of the force. That’s my guess anyways why she lost her magic.
Q/A Are we going to get to see and/or experience Korriban / Moraband / Pesegam in the Acolyte? (Flash back or contemporary to the show)

Another point for Morgan maybe being a human: most Nightsisters don't have last names, but she does, so maybe that comes from her and her mother's human side. Yes, Asajj Ventress also has one, but maybe she got it on Rattatak. Idk if any other Nightsisters have last names
Savage had probably the Opress as his last name. So maybe it is Thalzin Opress, Maul Opress & Feral Opress? Maybe even Merrin Opress, the woman In Talzin’s clan might all be family. And in a matriarchal society last names are probably those of the mother.

With the Pellaeon thing it could just be an error. Even with Disney's resources, people are fallible and sometimes mistakes happen.

I think Merrin probably lost her tatoos and magick at the time too. Then built it back up over 5 years.
Merrin literally had a broken nightsister crystal ball, i think she derived her magic from that.
Morgan didn't have anything like that

Q&A: Do you think people quite don't understand Barris's character development on Tales of the Empire that she had to leave the Inquisitors because she felt like she needs to help people for peace? We know that she had a reason that she bombed the Jedi Temple, framed Ahsoka, and call the Jedi evil due to the war going on in The Clone Wars and we know that she she didn't harmed a single innocent civilian in The Clone Wars. We did saw Barris definitely did betrayed the Fourth Sister wasn't due just to helping a wounded Jedi, but we definitely saw that she did that due to the Fourth Sister killed those innocent people for hiding a Jedi and Barris find this as Chaos instead of Order. We know that her realization in that mission that she clearly made a huge mistake believing the Jedi aren't the ones truly hurting innocent people, it was the Empire doing this.
She absolutely is to blame for the people killed in the bombing. Civilian workers, clones, and Jedi. And then when Letta Turmond tried to sell her out, she killed her too.
I think she had conflicting emotions, she believed she was just in her cause but felt some level of guilt for what she had done to Tutso Mara and Ahsoka.

Oddly the Gift of Shadows only leaves Morgan after she wakes up, not when the clan actually dies nor when the mountain clan started to care for her.
The great mother say they will reward Morgan with the Gift of Shadows and give her the face markings back.
I would liked the markings on all the ladies to crisper less of a smudge.
