Most people have only seen them in zoos, and most people have only been to the zoo as kids or a very limited number of times as adults. So it's not surprising that people are genuinely intrigued by seahorses.
Did you see the house? Thats not just big, that's full of high quality shit from the leather couch, bookshelf full of knickknacks to the granite countertops. Spiral staircase was the first indicator.
that's literally the best part of being home honestly, you will not have to worry if you would ever go hungry. I just started my 1st aquarium after 16 years of not having fish and am really enjoying it again. Your aquariums are amazing. My younger sister use to have seahorses but they were the very small one but so fun to watch. Thank you for showing your aquariums and your parents are adorable.
You are exactly what inspired me to get into the hobby. Currently in my home we have 4 tanks. Tank #1: 20 gallon axolotl tank- One axolotl named Luci, she's a stunted rescue. Tank #2: 3.5 betta tank - one male betta named Lennox and his golden mystery snail Banana(banana is huge). Tank #3: 35 gallon goldfish tank- 2 double tail calicos Sweden and Finlin. Tank #4:(sister's) 15 gallon- 3 black skirt tetras, 6 neon tetras, one mystery snail, one baby pleco, and one blue and purple betta fish named Mistletoe.
i loved this video so much, it hurt my heart when you said you didn’t reach your goal for subscribers cause you absolutely deserve it! you and your family seem so genuine and lovely, and those drum skills are killer 😎😎 can’t wait for what’s next to come on your journey!
For your discus tank id highly highly recommend getting a lot of plants live ones in there. Bc as you know the discus are so shy and skiddish they really want those plants in there to rest on hide in and sleep on. They do add oxygen into the water They so many more beneficial things for your tank as well. Your discus will really appreciate them. Making sure the water is warm enough is very important for them. What do you feed your crawfish btw?

@Sailorperson yes, mantis shrimp can easily break their tank but it's a rare occurrence if you keep them in a big enough tank where they don't feel the need to move and find more space. This big guy is actually a Peacock Mantis Shrimp which is actually common for aquarium keepers who have a lot of experience. Even more interesting is there's two kinds, the one George has is rocking "clubs" while some actually have spear like limbs to capture prey. There are currently 450 different types of mantis shrimp and they're some of the most important little predators for the tropical shallows and reefs. These guys are super interesting and probably one of the most colorful shrimp in terms of color range of all the types, however very little is known about them because they tend to hide in their burrows more often than not. One last interesting fact? That mantis shrimp actually KNOWS who George is as they actually have a very good memory for those they interact with frequently. They get to know their neighbors and caretakers by visuals and smells. Just.. Don't stick your fingers or hand in there because their "punch" really really hurts and can reach up to 1,500 Newton's aka 337.21 lbs of force. That's enough force to break your fingers.
Morgan Puglas imo they shouldn’t really be kept as pets. They are always wild caught, and never really live their full lifespan in captivity (e.g. Octopus bimaculoides species should live to 2 years but often die after 12-14 months).
