I knew I had to do this eventually and more and more people were calling for it, but man was this a huge undertaking. This was probably the transcription that took me the longest (apart from maybe Stand By Me), and I also had to figure out what to do about the video, as I wanted to do the studio recording but still have a background visual. I decided to sync the audio to the video for the live version, which also took forever since they’re at different tempos and the tempo varies way more throughout the live version. I ended up splitting the video into seven or eight parts and syncing them at different speeds to match the audio, but it’s still a bit off in places.
Again, sorry this took so long but I really wanted to do it justice seeing as there’s really not a lot of good transcriptions of this piece. I’m hella proud of the final result and I hope everyone enjoys it!

The fact that literally anything remotely funky sounds amazing on Bari sax is exactly the reason why I loved playing it in Jazz Band. Especially on any Funk or Latin chart
One of my greatest regrets is dropping music after hs. Bari in jazz band was so much fun. Did you ever play El Burrito Picante and the Chamber of Doom, or Out of the Doghouse?

I play the Bari myself, and this dude's ability to double tongue so cleanly and fluidly seriously impresses me. He makes it look so easy, but it's definitely not. Leo has some serious skill.

If you listen to the untranscribed version you’ll see Leo’s solo sounds way different thats because this is the studio recording just put over the video what you are hearing was recorded in a studio and the real video sound way different

@@Karpy129 Well. on most music writing software you can add annotations on sheet music. It's usually a button somewhere but depending on which software you use you might not have it.

at measure 138 The trombone plays the rhythm thing with bari sax on different notes
i know this doesnt really matter but at 3:39, the tuba goes on octave lower. also at 4:06, he starts to play in quavers. i know its jus the bass part but i guess its the little details that count. still tho everything seems pretty perfect :D
