There is nothing constructive whatsoever about trying to diminish his performance based on your personal belief that this is not a difficult piece of music. We are lucky to have people like Leo in the world willing to do performance art for our enjoyment. Keep your negativity to yourself.

I think it's because people who march bari have hundreds of hours of practice playing sitting down posture. This dude is a busker, all of what he's played was on the street, standing and dancing around like this.

I've been playing saxophone for about almost 5 years now, and it's still super hard to get to most of those notes, this man is amazing, especially to be playing the Baritone sax. Like dang. Unfortunately my band teacher won't let me play baritone, so I'm stuck on Alto.
A virtuoso among even the greatest in his craft (and that's not counting the almost unprecedented skill of doing what he does while DANCING). But with a amateurish background in music (played from 3rd to 12th grade in band), you can see as many subtle points of brilliance as those god tier solos. -Despise ALL that dancing and exertion, he somehow maintains perfect support for all his notes start to finish. -He nails the right tongue attacks for each of those asininely hard glissandos and trills like they weren't even there -His volume control (one of the THE hardest things to manage on the largest instruments while maintaining a solid timbered tone) is so good you barely notice he's doing it unless its a point of the song to demonstrate his ability to crescendo. -And finally, that etiquette: Most in the audience rarely appreciate just how difficult it is to properly "blend" your instrument/grouping/section's part with the rest of the band without either overpowering them or being overwhelmed. And when it comes to solos, this is compounded by egos. The skill of "blending" is further confounded by an inherrent human need to outshine everyone in your one moment in the spotlight. Our boi had no problems whatsoever. He wailed on that bari sax like a legend, but the MOMENT the rest of the band came in he dialed in back a notch to not overpower them. And when his fellow soloist came in on that Firebird Trumpet, he made sure to drop down to just below him to give him his moment in the sun before eventually raising it back up to similar levels. Masterful. A sheer joy to listen to ^^
What’s crazy is that during his big jumps he takes the mouthpiece out of his mouth, so he very often completely resets his Embouchure and still plays like crazy

I still keep coming back for more. If anyone wants to best Leo, they'll need yo be playing bass whilst performing with the cirque de soleil 🤣
This guy is amazing! My wife showed me him doing some busking with his group and I thought I recognized him from 8-Bit Big Band. I certainly did. Her performed Mortal Kombat with them. He's just amazing! Now I get him recommended all over my feed. He has such an amazing energy about him.

I have some feedback, instead of trying to transcribe what Leo was playing during the trumpet player's solo you should have transcribed the trumpet player's solo
abradolf lincler defeats the whole point of this video really, he didnt even transcribe the main line breaks, just stole others transcriptions and pieced them together
But I got one tip as well Watch out about differences in rhythm. There’s a mistake at least every 2 measures. I appreciate the effort and the tone heights though

Actually, it is very normal for drummers to adlib because it adds more flavor.

Watch out about differences in rhythm. There’s a mistake at least every 2 measures. I appreciate the effort and the tone heights though

"you should have transcribed" this is a request for action. when you want something you say "please", with the understanding you may get "no" for an answer. second, do it yourself and lead by example. "you dont search the teeth of a horse gift"
