You know, by the time you add up all the expenses you've spent trying to redo the countertop cheaply, lol, you probably could have purchased a nice countertop made of granite or quartz. I recommend quartz. With granite, you're supposed to reseal it once a year. Zoey was giving you love bites. She's so sweet. Those chairs are a perfect size for her. Hope you have a great rest of the day.

Love your new pillow covers. And glad u did do all spring stuff like the others. Some do not have the money to do all that stuff . Love water slide to. And counter tops, yes, you have redone and spent money on it just to say . O well, I do it again . Your style of how you do it is just wonderful. Karrie! One of the best things about you is that you aren’t decorating for every holiday . You are so real. Life goes by so fast and if I get an Easter basket for the kids by Easter I call it a win . Also, I am always all over the place as well 😂
Great bathroom hack. Put all of your morning products into a bin and then it’s just taking it out and putting the bin back in the cabinet.
Pour a concrete block counter…. ♥️… I have faith that you can do it…. I would also look up designs that could expand your island into an eating space as well. This would leave space open in your dining room area to maybe build a closet (storage) area as you did in the kitchen. You can even build a storage area under your carport for seasonal items.You can even try to look in your ceilings to see if you can build up for storage…. I remember when we lived in a trailer I stored things under my trailer in heavy duty storage containers. Just removed the skirting when we needed access and then put it back up when done. There’s so many out of the box ways to make storage. I love your new design ideas. They are really becoming the new look. So glad we’re over the gray themed farmhouse 😂

Believe me, you don’t want a bigger house in all reality it’s just more to clean and fill with stuff you don’t need. Our first house was about the size of yours and I wished we still lived there. It was so much easier to maintain. Once you get your new space out back I think you’ll love it and stay forever ❤❤❤

You need an Insta Pot family large size. It cooks stews, chili, etc much faster than a rock pot. You will not regret the purchase! I keep my crock pot in storage for parties and get togethers with family and friends.
I was intimidated by mine but now love it .
To make the pillow covers fit better, you have a pillow 2" bigger each direction, and then when you stuff it, it becomes nice and firm and "chopable"! Or, just sew a bit on 2 sides beside each other to shrunk them a bit. They r a beautiful print!
What about Formica? Lowe’s has some beautiful ones. My mom bought a house that’s like 50 yrs old and that’s what the home has and it’s intact ! My friends also put some in their flipped kitchen and you would never think it’s man made . Go check out some samples . Love your videos

I love the new pillow covers. They look so pretty with the green contrast of the blanket. Yes I love the way the sun looks in the mornings when it rises.
OMG I did the same thing with epoxy on my island, and everything stained it, even the sun started giving it a yellowish tint. I also thought I did something wrong as well. I love the transparency from you because no one talks about the flaws of their projects because I definitely thought it was me not doing it correctly ❤

Hey kerri in your closet where your hats are, how about putting up two shelves and put the hats on the empty wall just hang them high so the won't hit your head and put the stuffing in the sealer bag on top the shelves❤

Consider a butcher block top for your island. Relatively affordable and so practical.
I love adore butcher block, we will do that in our sunroom instead if stone at the sick and drink / coffee/ tea bar. Butcher block would be perfect in their home!!!!

I prefer granite, so many more shades and it's tougher, much more scratch resistant and more beautiful to us! White with Grey and taupe smokey shades mixed in is the most beautiful granite! You can seal it yourself once or twice a year. Much cheaper doing it yourself. It's also very EZ!!!

Try the Clorox Tylex mold and mildew spray on the counter. It is strong but works. If you want to give it a go just let it sit for a few mins and then wipe away.

Seriously, a leaf blower will work way better than using a shop vac to vacuum out your truck. 😁
We live in Florida as well.
So much sand all the time, and we’re taking the dogs to the dog beach, and my kids in and out of the truck and Jeep all the time, a leaf blower works, amazingly well blowing all that sand out.
also, “short burst”, with the leaf blower will clear the dog hair from under the table, and all the hard floor surfaces.
With two Shepards the leaf blower is a multiple tool. 😂🤦♀️😁👍
We do that too but I noticed I sprayed dust up into all the fabric either way I needed to vacuum eventually. But its a great backup plan for sure 🙌

I put a mirror in my closet it’s great. I had a friend tell me once the first dollar is the last dollar meaning think about how much you have spent on redoing the countertop you could have got a nice one. But who am I to tell you lol one day I will get a nice one to 😂

Just here to say your new living room set up is beautiful! Love it! My couch is the same color it’s by far my favorite.
I also have epoxy countertops I don’t struggle with stains but mine has became textured over time and a few places have chipped off.
Hi Karrie a couple years or so ago you redid your little round dining table I think the base you painted white and then add some stain I think but if I remember right it was a kinda a antique wood grayish brown I would like to do my bedroom furniture that way but was wondering if you remembered the colors of white and stain. Thanks 😊
We had clothes line like that take a piece of would put a notch in it to prop the clothesline.😊
