When I started playing Fortnite my friend would use this with me bec I got bots and I would be party leader and it was fun cuz we just won back to back and just had a good time

it is possible, think about it. if you only kill 3 enemy team-members and 1 survives, gets all 3 cards and revives them, and that happens more then 2 times, then it would be possible... thats the only way i can think of that. i have seen streamers, that would not kill the whole enemy squad, so they could be revived and the streamer could possibly get more kills. i have seen Faze Replays and col. thiefs do that and zeemie too! for example..-.I dont mean that those would do the 2boxing. i mean they leave 1 enemy alive so he can revive his friends ....!! have a nice day :)
I thought this video was going to be about a real problem.. the fortnite channels that trick kids into donating to their stream for a false "chance" to win vbuck cards. And stream a dev account's locker, go through all the skins in the game and try to get people to "guess a skin they don't have" when it's not even a real account, they're just showing you all the skins in the game. Those kind of people are literally robbing kids just bc they post about fortnite. Garbage human behavior
Exactly. Simple Fortnite gameplay that's partially clickbait (I say partially because they're still doing solo vs squads gameplay but the titles and thumbnails make people think it's real lobbies) is WAY more tame and less of an issue than literal scams..

Been living down in Lincolnshire for the past 3 years and got introduced to the game by a friend of the family who didn't have a duo. It immediately reminded me of Time splitters ( showing my age ) and fell in love with the game. My debut was chapter 4 season 2 Megacity and ODM gear was a rough baptism. I've since seen a lot of bullshit in and around the fortnite universe and can smell the stench from most UA-camrs. Zemie gets on my tits in particular. A lot of UA-camrs are all about the self aggrandisement and peacocking. You've just earned a subscriber dude, keep up the good work. Christ I miss the accent of my people.

I do know there are some exceptional players out there and I love learning from them. I see no problem with bot lobbies for fun, but I like to watch people play to improve my skill so yeah, transparency is key. Yeah I used to see these videos pop up a lot but I think the UA-cam algorithm realized I thought they were boring cause they're only fighting ai and they aren't talking at all in the video
Next rabbit hole would be the vbuck scammers.. they title their pre recorded streams as 'find a skin I don't own, get vbucks'.. they keep telling people to subscribe to get a chance at winning vbucks and to use their creator code etc.. makes me sick!

Makes you think your own 5 elim, 3rd place game is worthless so thanks for highlighting. I think the reality is, with SBMM anything over like a 15-20 kill game and win on a consistent basis means one of two things; youre a gaming god or youre cheating at something

Same here! I saw videos by a German youtuber playing bot lobbies, while he was talking like 'Yeah, we took this one out of the game!' or 'Two guys at once, uninstall your games, boiiiis!' I just thought, man your just playing those lobbies and load them up on YT!? But the comments were full of 'you're so good', 'can we play together' I was very annoyed, because he got around 4K subs plus creator account, while on my second channel, a Fortnite channel, with real solo gameplay, I only have nearly 300 subs. In the end its not quality content people wanna watch, but nonsens highkill games... sad! Btw: a new subscriber of yours here!!! Keep going!

I watched IknowDuffy ONCE, realized he was literally just farming bots, called him out on it in the comments, and never watched him again. Absolute disgrace.
When ever you see someone playing solo that downs other players instead of eliminating them, and they're racking up kills left and right, they're using either bot lobbies or curated lobbies. The difference being you can't win crowns in bot lobbies, but can win them from curated. Example I use a zero exp noob account on my switch and login with my main xbox account getting bot lobbies. Vs I login on my switch with an account with some kills, maybe a few levels, and party it up with my main xbox account and now I'm able to play in this curated lobby where I get maybe 3 or 5 human players. Most of the time they're slightly above average players.
I play solo squads and get a ton of bots, but I do it for fun and don't stream or have a channel. Never knew about the 2 box method, that's interesting. Thanks for an awesome video!
As someone who is in the Fortnite community and a Fortniteish content creator, I can say that I'm not surprised there's people faking the amount of kills they get. Even before I saw this video I just assumed they were fake or they just used a bot lobby. The Fortnite Elsagate videos are worse in my opinion. The Elsagate ones can cause some negative effects on kids. Also you have a new sub
When i started playing in C5S3 i immediately started watching these kinds of content creators especially DUFFY and i noticed ts immediately! Compared to sliinky & prospering you see this guys lobbies and he's just slowly moving around the map without anyone shooting him back. Its crazy
Bots are also easily recognisable by name, they usually have two random capitalized words and a usually two digit number (i.e MushyTroll27, BigWarrior43 etc)
This makes sense cuz when I play with my daughters friends and join their party we get these insanely easy lobbies and always get victory royal’s but when I play by myself the lobbies are always cracked
Yeah, me too. I think bot lobbies are good for getting quests done and free rewards, but if you want to have fun with the season it's better to play them legit. Especially if someone is using the method for CONTENT, it would be more impressive to stream real games
you can also tell if they're playing "solos" and just down a player, theres also another method people use where they put a bot account in their party so they dont needs a second account
I noticed that the bots now often pop a Nitro Splash when they see you. Usually they won't even use it, they just pop it and stay crouched, often running away when hurt, before changing its mind again to shoot at you.
So what game do they play duo ???? I got beat yesterday by 2 people in a car 1 driving 1 on on the gun turret 😮 the funny thing was it was a solo match 😂😂😂
Thanks for video man. Another category of youtubers is the channels with the news about Fortnite. Regular clickbait headlines and nothing inside the video. Just a bunch of text and the author's imagination. "Zero Builds Gone Forever" "Unexpected update" "How to get Marvel's skin for free" "The new Chapter 6 battle pass", "1000000 xp map AFK"etc. Moreover, they all waste your time and nerves throughout the entire video. Usually the entire video consists of a bunch of chatter asking you to subscribe to the channel, enter the creator code, check your email, kiss the neighbor's dog, and also kiss the creator's butt, and only then you can get a tiny piece of useless information.

Thanks for the video! I believe if an account is level 0-5ish you get ALL bots, but if it is 5-15ish you will get at least one other team. Also if you are able to see a player on Fortnite Tracker, and they are using an all bot method, the game with show up on Fortnite Tracker as a BOT game.
I’ve seen Prospering ready up on ranked squads with no fill, gets 20-30 kills average. He just makes it look easy. You can’t fake god tier movements and aim. I like watching him, Evolve Jake and Zaraxxus.
Thanks for posting this. It needed to be said. I am actually competing for fortnite content on youtube right now, and this guy gets so many more views than me. It doesnt make sense. I fight real hardcore players, but I only get like 400 views, while he gets 400k views for eliminating bots. Come on, folks. I got 7 wins while wearing a crown yesterday
I’ve done this before maybe a few times myself to help out my friend when they first started playing Fortnite but never for content that’s just scummy and people will easily expose you if you try making a high kill game killing bots that shows no skill
Ive been through this "Rabbit Hole" 3 years ago and i can for sure tell you that you have been on the right track. (Therefore NICE VIDEO) If you enjoy Solo VS Squads content there is one thing for you to spot if they fake their gameplay right from the jump. If you see the Name of the Player on the Upper Left then that means there was a Party Member that definetely left. If they playing a match and there is no name displayed on the upper left, that means its Legit. (That means that the player indeed queue up as a Solo in a Squads game)
Not really. Check out Unicorn Stabs, bro plays all bot lobbies and streams with it and no name on screen!!! Lightning beam did the alt account in a few videos back and was no name up the top left.

Dunno why but I found this hella interesting to watch, and it really does make you think of how much deception goes on with UA-cam videos in general, I’m sure other games have ways of ‘cheesing’ the system to work in their benefit for stuff like battle pass XP and the extremely tedious tasks devs make us do to get the rewards for which we have already technically paid for 😅 which is fine as it encourages player retention, but when you’re having to essentially deceive your viewers into thinking you are this pro level sort of player just for views, it’s just embarrassing and almost kinda manipulative to an extent. But that’s the internet for ya I suppose, people will do anything for the views…. 😕
You can do it in Duos, Trios and Squads. However these losers will ALWAYS do it in squads because they will have a better chance to get lots of kills than if they did it in Duos. 🙄
I do this. Got me an alt I use on my phone. I don't make UA-camrs with it though. I just use the bot lobbies to make doing the quests less stressful. Once I'm caught up on the quests, then I go back to the regular lobbies.
In my experience the first 3 games you do with a new account are always 100% bots so if you join their group you will always get a bot lobby no matter what your level. The trick is to back out your "bot" account just before it loads into the island (so normally when the screen says "initiating travel to server") If you do this every time you will always get a bot lobby. I use it to do quests and level without stress. It's so easy to spot youtubers who do this.....like in a bot lobby you are always the first to land, you are always the first to achieve 100% shields even if this is 15 minutes into the game.....if you see these achievements on a you tubers video you know for sure it's bots!
Yeah I saw this when I watched the people like home of games and friendly machine especially. They would be like "oh wow 50 kill game let's go" and my brain (which didn't know the game that well at the time, I was 12 but that's not my excuse) thought that was crazy but then I realized that like they were the only ones building, and for some reason they were in duos but as a solo, you could tell immediately before they even got a kill because their name would show up in the corner which does not happen in solos and looked into it and realized they were playing bot lobbies -_- that's why I stopped watching them (also because they just blatantly lie about new things coming to the game which just don't happen)
The way sbmm works is off your skill level, not just how old the account is. Although a new account that hasn't been played on much will give you bot lobbies because it has nothing much to go off of to know your skill level so it would be beginner level. With multiple players it doesn't matter who is party leader, as I've tested this when we were getting difficult lobbies with a mix of players in my game of high and low caliber, they were still halfway difficult but not as much as what I am use to in solos because it goes off of a mix of who is in your lobby or your teammates. We would make the lowest caliber player party leader, and nothing would change at all, but adding another lower caliber player would completely change the lobby no matter who the party leader is. I've played with too many lower caliber players where they just get wasted every game and quit playing because the lobbies are too difficult, and making them party leader didn't help. If it is just you and a new player you will get bot lobbies. If it is you another good player and a noob it will be more medium skill level lobbies and so on.
Also bots don’t use car or fists, they do use nitro which is kinda like the signature thing that bots do when you shoot them once; they’ll immediately use a nitro and then try to attack you.
I was super devastated after playing Fortnite for a month thinking I was getting very good when I realized that there are constantly bought in the non-ranked games just automatically. Two things made me realize one is when I get into ranked I die quickly because there’s lots of good players and two when you’re in non-ranked games I started noticing when writing up on people who are already fighting each other they were not hitting each other with their bullet. They were standing in front of each other shooting so what I did as I walked up to one of them and they were opening fire on me, and none of the bullets were hitting. that’s when I realized they were bots in the game. When I realized I wasn’t as good as I thought 😂
I play bot lobbies, mostly for quests (cause of the Sweats camping at quest locations), dont care if i win, and if i do, i dont count as a VR, and means nothing to me, sometimes just like to go in and just play causually, just taing my time. but the VRs i got in actual player maps, I do cherish those...as i am not he greatest, so winning one was and is such a thrill...even got some in 2/3 abd squads...but those are fewer cause am thrown in a teram with people i dont know how good they re or think i may be really good. so am alwasy nervious on playing with teamates. But been on some teams , they were aweome, friend and helpful, last one helped me get the VC quest in Reloaded as well as the crowning achievement emote, which i didnt think would get, and am very thankful to them and had a fun time, though I still felt in the way and worried would mess up the match. Bot lobbies, have no sweats and is qute relaxing. :)

I did the storm circles in ranked, for that one reward,,,juat drove around the map in and out of the storm, but I made sure to never purposely hitting or eliminating players, and just drive til I die. I did one thing, run around the map witgh the Ride the Lightning item, and would run around til shot at and then use the item to escape...see how long I can live til players kill me :D
I just starting playing Fortnite with my buddy who's been playing for 6 years and yes he is incredible at playing (semi-pro) ... we do this all the time but for crown lobbies... same scenario just a bit higher level... i play for fun so doesn't matter to me... he gets upset when I call him out on it but again he really is good at it.... we play regular lobbies when there is 4 of us and win anyways so no big deal to me...

One way to tell if the stream is an all bot lobby is by the names thanking the bus driver. There won’t be any gold highlighted victory crown names on the other players. Another way is you will see rewards for first player to land, first player to open a chest, first player to hire etc. even if it is well into the match because the bot accounts don’t trigger those, only real players do. Also no victory crown will be rewarded at the end.

Same here! I saw videos by a German youtuber playing bot lobbies, while he was talking like 'Yeah, we took this one out of the game!' or 'Two guys at once, uninstall your games, boiiiis!'
I just thought, man your just playing those lobbies and load them up on YT!?
But the comments were full of 'you're so good', 'can we play together'
I was very annoyed, because he got around 4K subs plus creator account, while on my second channel, a Fortnite channel, with real solo gameplay, I only have nearly 300 subs.
In the end its not quality content people wanna watch, but nonsens highkill games... sad!

I watched IknowDuffy ONCE, realized he was literally just farming bots, called him out on it in the comments, and never watched him again. Absolute disgrace.
When ever you see someone playing solo that downs other players instead of eliminating them, and they're racking up kills left and right, they're using either bot lobbies or curated lobbies. The difference being you can't win crowns in bot lobbies, but can win them from curated. Example I use a zero exp noob account on my switch and login with my main xbox account getting bot lobbies.
Vs I login on my switch with an account with some kills, maybe a few levels, and party it up with my main xbox account and now I'm able to play in this curated lobby where I get maybe 3 or 5 human players. Most of the time they're slightly above average players.
I play solo squads and get a ton of bots, but I do it for fun and don't stream or have a channel. Never knew about the 2 box method, that's interesting. Thanks for an awesome video!

As someone who is in the Fortnite community and a Fortniteish content creator, I can say that I'm not surprised there's people faking the amount of kills they get. Even before I saw this video I just assumed they were fake or they just used a bot lobby.
The Fortnite Elsagate videos are worse in my opinion. The Elsagate ones can cause some negative effects on kids. Also you have a new sub
When i started playing in C5S3 i immediately started watching these kinds of content creators especially DUFFY and i noticed ts immediately! Compared to sliinky & prospering you see this guys lobbies and he's just slowly moving around the map without anyone shooting him back. Its crazy

Bots are also easily recognisable by name, they usually have two random capitalized words and a usually two digit number (i.e MushyTroll27, BigWarrior43 etc)

This makes sense cuz when I play with my daughters friends and join their party we get these insanely easy lobbies and always get victory royal’s but when I play by myself the lobbies are always cracked
I love spectating bot behaviour and taking mental notes about them and seeing people try to pass them off as legit is so funny to me.

Yeah, me too. I think bot lobbies are good for getting quests done and free rewards, but if you want to have fun with the season it's better to play them legit. Especially if someone is using the method for CONTENT, it would be more impressive to stream real games

you can also tell if they're playing "solos" and just down a player, theres also another method people use where they put a bot account in their party so they dont needs a second account
Another way to tell if someone is doing it is that it won’t show the got victory crown text and you also can’t get crown wins in bot lobbies

Yes you can get crown in bot lobbies. It’s not literally 100% NPCs with YOU being the ONLY real player. It’s just the majority of the lobbies are bots
I noticed that the bots now often pop a Nitro Splash when they see you.
Usually they won't even use it, they just pop it and stay crouched, often running away when hurt, before changing its mind again to shoot at you.

Moreover, they all waste your time and nerves throughout the entire video.
Usually the entire video consists of a bunch of chatter asking you to subscribe to the channel, enter the creator code, check your email, kiss the neighbor's dog, and also kiss the creator's butt, and only then you can get a tiny piece of useless information.

Thanks for the video! I believe if an account is level 0-5ish you get ALL bots, but if it is 5-15ish you will get at least one other team. Also if you are able to see a player on Fortnite Tracker, and they are using an all bot method, the game with show up on Fortnite Tracker as a BOT game.

I’ve seen Prospering ready up on ranked squads with no fill, gets 20-30 kills average. He just makes it look easy. You can’t fake god tier movements and aim. I like watching him, Evolve Jake and Zaraxxus.

Thanks for posting this. It needed to be said. I am actually competing for fortnite content on youtube right now, and this guy gets so many more views than me. It doesnt make sense. I fight real hardcore players, but I only get like 400 views, while he gets 400k views for eliminating bots. Come on, folks. I got 7 wins while wearing a crown yesterday
I’ve done this before maybe a few times myself to help out my friend when they first started playing Fortnite but never for content that’s just scummy and people will easily expose you if you try making a high kill game killing bots that shows no skill

If you enjoy Solo VS Squads content there is one thing for you to spot if they fake their gameplay right from the jump.
If you see the Name of the Player on the Upper Left then that means there was a Party Member that definetely left.
If they playing a match and there is no name displayed on the upper left, that means its Legit. (That means that the player indeed queue up as a Solo in a Squads game)
Not really. Check out Unicorn Stabs, bro plays all bot lobbies and streams with it and no name on screen!!! Lightning beam did the alt account in a few videos back and was no name up the top left.

Dunno why but I found this hella interesting to watch, and it really does make you think of how much deception goes on with UA-cam videos in general, I’m sure other games have ways of ‘cheesing’ the system to work in their benefit for stuff like battle pass XP and the extremely tedious tasks devs make us do to get the rewards for which we have already technically paid for 😅 which is fine as it encourages player retention, but when you’re having to essentially deceive your viewers into thinking you are this pro level sort of player just for views, it’s just embarrassing and almost kinda manipulative to an extent. But that’s the internet for ya I suppose, people will do anything for the views…. 😕

You can do it in Duos, Trios and Squads. However these losers will ALWAYS do it in squads because they will have a better chance to get lots of kills than if they did it in Duos. 🙄

I do this. Got me an alt I use on my phone. I don't make UA-camrs with it though. I just use the bot lobbies to make doing the quests less stressful. Once I'm caught up on the quests, then I go back to the regular lobbies.
In my experience the first 3 games you do with a new account are always 100% bots so if you join their group you will always get a bot lobby no matter what your level. The trick is to back out your "bot" account just before it loads into the island (so normally when the screen says "initiating travel to server") If you do this every time you will always get a bot lobby. I use it to do quests and level without stress. It's so easy to spot youtubers who do this.....like in a bot lobby you are always the first to land, you are always the first to achieve 100% shields even if this is 15 minutes into the game.....if you see these achievements on a you tubers video you know for sure it's bots!
Yeah I saw this when I watched the people like home of games and friendly machine especially. They would be like "oh wow 50 kill game let's go" and my brain (which didn't know the game that well at the time, I was 12 but that's not my excuse) thought that was crazy but then I realized that like they were the only ones building, and for some reason they were in duos but as a solo, you could tell immediately before they even got a kill because their name would show up in the corner which does not happen in solos and looked into it and realized they were playing bot lobbies -_- that's why I stopped watching them (also because they just blatantly lie about new things coming to the game which just don't happen)
The way sbmm works is off your skill level, not just how old the account is. Although a new account that hasn't been played on much will give you bot lobbies because it has nothing much to go off of to know your skill level so it would be beginner level. With multiple players it doesn't matter who is party leader, as I've tested this when we were getting difficult lobbies with a mix of players in my game of high and low caliber, they were still halfway difficult but not as much as what I am use to in solos because it goes off of a mix of who is in your lobby or your teammates. We would make the lowest caliber player party leader, and nothing would change at all, but adding another lower caliber player would completely change the lobby no matter who the party leader is. I've played with too many lower caliber players where they just get wasted every game and quit playing because the lobbies are too difficult, and making them party leader didn't help. If it is just you and a new player you will get bot lobbies. If it is you another good player and a noob it will be more medium skill level lobbies and so on.

Also bots don’t use car or fists, they do use nitro which is kinda like the signature thing that bots do when you shoot them once; they’ll immediately use a nitro and then try to attack you.
They use the fists for basic melee attacks if you are with a few meters, they just don’t use them for mobility.

I was super devastated after playing Fortnite for a month thinking I was getting very good when I realized that there are constantly bought in the non-ranked games just automatically. Two things made me realize one is when I get into ranked I die quickly because there’s lots of good players and two when you’re in non-ranked games I started noticing when writing up on people who are already fighting each other they were not hitting each other with their bullet. They were standing in front of each other shooting so what I did as I walked up to one of them and they were opening fire on me, and none of the bullets were hitting. that’s when I realized they were bots in the game. When I realized I wasn’t as good as I thought 😂
I play bot lobbies, mostly for quests (cause of the Sweats camping at quest locations), dont care if i win, and if i do, i dont count as a VR, and means nothing to me, sometimes just like to go in and just play causually, just taing my time. but the VRs i got in actual player maps, I do cherish those...as i am not he greatest, so winning one was and is such a thrill...even got some in 2/3 abd squads...but those are fewer cause am thrown in a teram with people i dont know how good they re or think i may be really good. so am alwasy nervious on playing with teamates. But been on some teams , they were aweome, friend and helpful, last one helped me get the VC quest in Reloaded as well as the crowning achievement emote, which i didnt think would get, and am very thankful to them and had a fun time, though I still felt in the way and worried would mess up the match. Bot lobbies, have no sweats and is qute relaxing. :)

I did the storm circles in ranked, for that one reward,,,juat drove around the map in and out of the storm, but I made sure to never purposely hitting or eliminating players, and just drive til I die. I did one thing, run around the map witgh the Ride the Lightning item, and would run around til shot at and then use the item to escape...see how long I can live til players kill me :D
I just starting playing Fortnite with my buddy who's been playing for 6 years and yes he is incredible at playing (semi-pro) ... we do this all the time but for crown lobbies... same scenario just a bit higher level... i play for fun so doesn't matter to me... he gets upset when I call him out on it but again he really is good at it.... we play regular lobbies when there is 4 of us and win anyways so no big deal to me...

My main surprise is that they can kill 90 bots in the match and most of them don't kill them between them or by the Storm or other NPCs.
One way to tell if the stream is an all bot lobby is by the names thanking the bus driver. There won’t be any gold highlighted victory crown names on the other players. Another way is you will see rewards for first player to land, first player to open a chest, first player to hire etc. even if it is well into the match because the bot accounts don’t trigger those, only real players do. Also no victory crown will be rewarded at the end.
So what happens if you win in a bot lobby? You don't get a victory crown?
