  • I am sharing Vegetarian & Non Vegetarian Recipes in this video.
    This is a special, traditional & authentic baked dish of Pathare Prabhus. We prepare the yeast at home and then knead the dough. We call the homemade yeast "Gonda".
    We say Kavta for Eggs.
    I have shared 2 types of Kavta here.
    1. Stuff with sweet fresh coconut filling.
    Ingredients:
    Fresh Coconut 1 cup
    Sugar ¾ cup
    Cashew nut ¼ cup
    Raisins ¼ cup
    Cardamom Powder ½ tsp.
    You can use Doodhi halwa instead of coconut.
    Outer coating :
    Flour. 3 cups
    Pure ghee 1 tsp
    Sugar 1 tsp
    Salt a pinch
    Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
    Yeast : the froth & water.
    Ingredients for Yeast :
    1 potato
    2 fist chana dal
    1/4 tsp cooking soda
    1 cup Milk
    1 cup Water
    For Kheema Kavta Ingredients are same for the outer cover, except cinnamon powder. We don't use cinnamon.
    Kheema filling
    1/2 kg Mutton Kheema
    2 Onions
    1 cup green peas
    2 tsp Garlic & Ginger paste
    1/2 tsp. Hing
    1 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
    1 1/2 tsp PP Sambhar masala
    1 tsp Salt
    2 tbsp Oil
    2 tbsp Raisins
    2. Stuff it with mutton kheema.
    We shape them like Eggs. Hence the name Kheemyachi Kavta.
