A challenge for me today is that I gotta shoot a big gig with a smartphone alone. I have never done this before. I just film my kids and our family. But I was asked by our neighbour to film their band today. Hope I will be able to produce good shots.
Love getting to see inside look on how a top of the church video world like Hillsong runs their film department. Helps when making highlight videos for my church (and freelance) Thank you for this!
Absolutely love this tutorial, your tutorials are so insightful and so helpful to me as one of the only creatives in my church, so much value especially coming from guys like yourselves filming big budget conferences like that. God bless bro 🙌
I have an upcoming event soon, and as a media member i didn't know how it's actually going to be and what to do, but that video gave me confidence and it did help a lot, thank you so much
Great job and nice video. It had educational content - that's something that a lot of youtubers forget about, education and getting value from watching a short form video is key.
Awesome video dude. This is sooo important for a lot of people because it shows the art that goes into a highlight video. You can find a story out of anything
love what u do, and this inside into producing such a video for Hillsong is so amazing and helpful. Im going to use this rule into producing a church video, as we can only use one shooter so he can grab videos to each category each week;) thank u bless u!
These type of videos are good but a very important aspect remains unanswered... and that would be..... “how much did you guys charge for making this video...?”
Hey thanks for watching! This was a church vid so i volunteered my time for this one. Normally a highlight vid of say a day-long corporate event (with a production team of 3 and a single editor) should start at $5k USD.
When I shoot live concerts ( operating cameras only) I charge 100$/hr and each gig is anywhere from 4-18 hr shifts ! It’s a great life but their is more than just shooting cams. I help build the sets , build camera platforms , set up cams, white balance all the cameras, set up projectors screens . Led video walls , and then tear them down after the show. I love it so much ! I started may 2018 and going 💪
Sweet josh video idea bro can u do a tutorial kinda show us lighting compostion diffuser kinda this things to illuminate the subject id love it thabk you bro ❤
What if the conference is boring as they come, how are you supposed to build into a high intensity highlight reel when it’s suits talking in front of a podium and people making coffee in the breaks? That’s the reality!
Hi guys, great video. What's the swoosh transition video effect you used at 4:09 min? And what's the sound effect that's used just a second before when adding all the small clips to the video at the same time?
I love your tutorials so much. Rather than just sitting in a room talking straight to camera you really act as a field reporter. Kudos 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Hey thanks fam!
