Seeing as how there are a ton to pick from: the best (or perhaps most creative/ fun) non-canon character endings? Sub-Zero and Scorpion becoming the Deadly Alliance always stood out to me. But there are wild ones like Liu Kang becoming an evil god of fire, or even sad ones like Jacqui choosing to never exist so her dad could live a good life.

About Kung Lao, knowing NS its probably a plot hole. Also would love to see some MK9 based video.
Here are a few secrets that probably almost no one will talk about. In Mortal Kombat Armageddon assets, there is a texture file that says Toasty and isn't used to my knowledge, the flag with Kanji on the test level stage says Mortal Combat, there are a lot of unused models/assets for character creation and the like, In Mortal Kombat Deception, Monster is set as it's own character file and though sharing almost the same moves as scorpion he is set to his own moveset and was never intended as a costume for scorpion as many claim but rather was supposed to be his own character. Just wasn't implemented like Jax and a few others that were later released for the PSP, though Monster remained the same. Going back to Armageddon, there are a lot of weapons you "can" choose from but the option is disabled such as for staves and even one that says in the files "snowboarder"?. A lot of the others are pointless for me to mention because they are everywhere such as scrapped Rain in certain versions of UMK3, Smoke being his own character rather than a duo for Deception, and so on. But if you want to get into some rather neat oddities. Look into Unused characters or NPCs for Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks. Some really interesting designs there and even Elder Gods that.... I guess would break the current day MK lore? Female goddess that looks like Shiva not Sheeva, etc. Her design for a boss is a million times better than wannabe timelord Kronika.

Because she did the exact same thing millions of times over and she has won time and again. My guess is she fears changing her plan because she already knows victory is assured. What's stupid to me is it took her literal MILLIONS of resets to realize Raiden is the problem and she would have to permanently remove him from the timeline

Gueras only "died" because He was tied up in metal chains, so He wouldn't be able to swim back to the surface. Kung lao was just thrown, so it's completely possible he was alive and even able to save himself
Honestly man rain is my favorite character. I’ve never been confident or sure of myself. Thought negatively about myself etc. But the bombastic brazen energy rain has gives me life yo. I usually hate people like that but rain backs up his shit talk
You could make a "Legacy" series, revisiting how characters progress from the old games to the more recent ones, both story-wise and gameplay-wise. You did something like that for a few character... Would be nice to see more of them.
Exploring the general lore of MK would also be really cool. Like, the story of the MK universe itself, instead of specific characters... Like, an overview of the far past... Then maybe a quick review fo what happens in each game.
Another possible idea is talking about the game development side... The people and companies involved in it, and what changed as years went by.
That's material for multiple videos, even if you only do some of it... And it'd be very interesting.

I would love for you to look into the arcade era games, the 3D-era games, and the new timeline games: look into the lore, settings, and characters and talk about what you do want to see return and why, and what you want to be modified and why for future installments. I'd say the only rule is you can't kill anyone. You can adjust them to fit YOUR NEW ERA.

The siege on Kronika's fortress in "Aftermath" probably only lasts a couple hours, at most. It's not difficult to assume Kahn threw the living Kung Lao into the ocean of blood, and he was left to drift and tread water, or possibly taken prisoner by another boat. Then Shang Tsung kills the revenant, but Kung Lao either eventually drowned, was rescued, or taken prisoner.
Kung Lao deserves to have more screen time, so let's hope he appears in the next time :)

I'm fine with Kung Lao's hat being the source of his abilities, rather than Kung Lao himself. Liu Kang has powers because he's the chosen one. It could be as simple as that.
As for comparison to Cap's shield, it makes sense. Cap doesn't solely possess the ability to bounce the shield around. We've seen other characters use it the same way. The magic is in the shield itself.

maybe after raiden fried her brain, she was brought back to life and was koo and calm. She still remembers Cassie and maybe something in her memories remind her to follow up with why people call her Elsa. So possibly Cassie did watch Frozen with Frost to help her understand her nickname.
This was actually a pretty great video. Ideas tho: I actually wanted to make a video about this myself but I guess I will just pass it on, I don't really play mk11 now. Dunno if it is your style to make one like this but Rain's forward weather ball is actually a restand and it is to my knowledge is the most plus restand in the entire game. You might make a video on how it functions or how it is actually not so very useful and how it is a waste of such a good move for a character like Rain because... you just never wanna use it as a Rain player for several reasons. Also you could just go back to Strive maybe. I believe some of us really enjoyed those videos and Dnf Duel is on the market, you could make some of Multiversus too. Options are plenty.
I find it funny how we can assume that these ruthless characters, after beating each other just go to watch a movie together. Like: "Ok, let's just get this over with. Don't forget we have a movie to watch after!". Both hilarious and wholesome.
They should've pulled a double whammy, since Jade wears a witch's outfit, too. You know, because Idina Menzel was Elphaba (The Wicked Witch of the West in the 2003 _Wicked_ musical, based on Gregory MacGuire's 1995 novel turning _The Wizard of OZ_ on its head by telling events from the perspective of its memorable cackling villain redone into a tragic protagonist) before she was Elsa (the _Snow Queen_ altered from fairytale villain to protagonist, just like Elphie before her), after all.
Even Disney's live-action ABC series _Once Upon a Time_ unifying multiple fairytales into a _Game of Thrones_ style narrative did it, because when The Wicked Witch of the West (Elphaba/Theodora) had her iconic melting scene on that show, The Snow Queen (Elsa) showed up soon thereafter!
Plus, Mortal Kombat's parent company Warner Brothers outright owns the timeless 1939 MGM movie which _Wicked_ (which is in itself actually licensed to NBC-Universal, which will likely be the company to make the forthcoming movie adaptation of the 1995 novel turned 2003 Broadway musical) has taken much of its influence from.

I'm still a bit miffed they didn't pull a double India Menzel reference whenever Frost fights Jade in her witch outfit, because before she voiced Elsa in _Frozen_ (where the Snow Queen isn't the villain like she is in the original fairytale), Idina originated the Broadway musical depiction of Elphaba, the not-so Wicked Witch of the West who was the tragic protagonist of Gregory MacGuire's revisionist retelling of _The Wizard of OZ_ courtesy of the 1995 novel _Wicked: The Life & Times of The Wicked Witch of the West_ which begot the "pop--u--ler...lar" 2003 Broadway musical & its own forthcoming Universal Studios movie adaptation.
The reason? Gregory MacGuire himself confirmed that he had Margaret Hamilton on his mind when he penned _Wicked_ in 1995 & basically used the 1939 MGM film (which Warner Bros. owns due to it owning the MGM library) as his blueprint for Elphie's rejiggered story.

& _Frozen_ respectively) that were reworked into misunderstood protagonists with elemental powers (fire [which can be summoned seemingly at will] & flight [via broomstick] for Elphie and ice & snow [magical otherworldly abilities that even Elsa's sister Anna doesn't possess] for Elsa) who are unfairly typecast as threats to the corrupt powers that be (for Elsa, there's the slimy Duke of Weaselton & his partnership with Hans, a Gaston meets Prince Charming from _Shrek_ style villain who takes over Elsa & Anna's home kingdom of Arendelle when Anna suddenly decides to rescue her sister from both her herself & the worsening public perception swaying against Elsa because of the fact that her ice powers accidentally put Arendelle under threat of a perpetually endless winter, meanwhile Elphie deals with the corruption that is the Ozian elite primarily consisting of the charlatan Wizard -- the displaced carnival balloonist from our world given the dubious title of Wizard who uses smoke & mirror trickery and cheap parlor tricks to keep up his charade is merely servicing as a unintentionally ignorant farce figurehead -- and his prejudiced personal advisor, resident Shiz University headmistress & honestly definitive villainess Madame Morrible, as it was she who was directly responsible for literally conjuring the very cyclone that brings Dorothy Gale & her yapping terrier Toto from sepia tone, Dust Bowl era Kansas in the first place & therefore, gives Elphie the valid justification for wanting to get the enchanted footwear from off the misdirected child's feet since Nessarose aka The Wicked Witch of the East & holier-than-thou overpowering acting governess of Munchkinland had officially bequeathed the magical shoes to her sister should something fatal happen to her before getting crushed underfoot by the flying Gale farmhouse, but meddlesome Glinda had decided on a whim to affix them to the rather confused Kansas farmgirl's feet to keep Elphie from obtaining their untapped power nonetheless), before singing a liberating song about finally coming to grips with their newfound abilities (for _Wicked_ there's "Defying Gravity" & _Frozen_ has the aforementioned "Let It Go"), only for Elsa's story to end with a Disney stereotypical happy ending for Queen Elsa & strangely still Princess Anna (the latter's now happily married to ice block maker & caribou keeper Kristoff, whom she met along her journey to rescue her sister, although both sisters still share joint ownership over Arendelle after disposing of the scheming Duke & invading pretender Hans), whereas Elphie's story is much tragic (in the actual 1995 novel, she legitimately melts & never returns, although the sequel stories _Son of a Witch_ & _Out of OZ_ respectively revolve around her son Liir & her green-tinted granddaughter Rain [the daughter of Liir & his coven handmaiden nursemaid wife Candle]) or bittersweet (the 2003 musical adaptation of the 1995 novel sends theater goers home happy by revealing that Elphie worked with her Winkie nobleman lover Fiyero [who somehow finds himself reincarnated as the purportedly brainless Scarecrow, which was exclusive to the musical alone, since Fiyero is not the Scarecrow in the 1995 novel at all] to feign her death, but due to the celebratory hoopla that follows thereafter, the two decide to leave OZ forever, with both of them regretting that they can't inform mutual love interest Glinda that they're still alive, which is why the play opens & closes with the ironic song _No One Mourns the Wicked_ as it's clear that Glinda does as indicated by her pausing prior to affirmation upon being asked point blank by Ozian guardsmen if Elphie was her friend at the start of the play, her visible tears at the end of the play since she still believes that Elphie's dead & her actual mental breakdown in the book's first sequel _Son of a Witch_ when Liir meets her & decides to look after him like a surrogate fairy godmother meanwhile gifting him with the charred broomstick she had taken as a memento following The Wizard's departure & Dorothy's return back to Kansas via the Silver Shoes/Ruby Slippers, Dorothy Gale does in spite of not fully grasping the complexity of the situation upon thinking that she's melted Elphie for real [which she does in the 1995 novel as a mercy kill, mind you], and the The Wizard himself does when Glinda personally outright outs him as Elphie's biological father, with him shamefully realizing all too late that he had sent the four principals from the original OZ story out to kill his illegitimate daughter after he's claimed repeatedly to just be a simple, sentimental man who has always longed to be a father, whose otherwise kind intentions were often undermined by Madame Morrible's Animal-hating personal agenda), depending on the version of Elphie's story you prescribe to.
So, I'm rather put off that NRS didn't throw a bone towards the fact that Jade's basically dressed as Elphaba whilst Frost is being nicknamed Elsa, given how both are memorable roles performed by Idina Menzel involving classic fairytale villainesses reworked into being misunderstood protagonists.

I still think that kung jin and kung loa maybe use the same spell on their equipment to give them those powers. but I think they are the source of the power. since kung loa can use his techniques with different hats.

There is an interesting detail. Fire God Liu Kang's plan in Aftermath is quite similar to Raiden's one in MK9 - He must win.
And why Liu Kang can't just return before - he has Raiden powers and chapter 2 told us that there can not be two Gods with the same power. So if Liu Kang returns and Raiden's still alive Liu cease to exist. So only after Shan Tsung's stolen his power Liu can return to the past but it's unwise to try beat Shao Kahn, Sindel and Shan Tsung with the crown even if you are among the Gods. when in the customiation page if you select ermac his description will say error macros which is a refrence to how he was created i the first place, in the original mortal kombat arcade game reptile was a secret character, there was aslo a screen for the arcade workers to see the amount of times certain events happend, a reptile interaction was one of these things you could see. right under the reptile interactions there was a counter for "ermacs" so people thought that ermac was a charater that exsisted but in reality it was a shortend version of "error macro" which is bascily a system glitch/crash, so this rumor eventally made it way back too ed boon who thought "well pepole think he exsits so why not" and thats how ermac was created
on the same customization page, takeda's description is 'combat cousin' which is a reference to mkx where takeda is a part of a group known as the "Kombat kids" but on the new timeline takeda is kenshis distant cousin (sorry for all the typos )

One suggestion for a video I have is what if you were too look at arcade ladder ending concepts that if nrs followed it would have changed the mortal kombat storyline significantly. For example, if you were to combine Jade's mk9 ending and Kitana's mk10 ending it would have created an interesting scenario for the mk storyline because my idea of how it would of worked (this was before mk11 was released) is that the woman that possessed Jade (her mother though I believe this was not confirmed until mk11's release) could have played a similar role to Kronika but instead of resetting the timeline it could have been about reverting to the original timeline so that Kitana kills Shao Kahn, suggested by her MKX ending, and became the champion of Armageddon. However, this idea may be a little complex though.
now that I think about it NRS should add more friendships and make each character have about three and you should get to pick which one to use in fights. (obviously cassie should have one where she calls frost and they watch a blurry and bright movie to represent frozen and also frost should have one where they do the same thing but the tv would look a little different from at first)

Jade also most likely survived too considering that her reavnent also fights. I always assumed sindel killed her when she slammed her threw the deck but I guess not. Also Could jade be a spy for shao kahn. I don’t think so but some of the dialogue in mk11 does suggest it
The ring Jacqui is wearing could be her mother's wedding ring. I think that makes a lot more sense because the intro dialogues seem to indicate that she and Takeda are engaged, not married.
Have you considered doing a video discussing the blind fighting game community, bfgc, we have held all blind and visually impaired tournaments for mk 11 and hope to do tournaments for other games as well.

On the damage of wedding rings: When I was a paramedic I cant tell you how many times a dude got his ring caught on a ladder or pipe and it degloved his finger to the bone.

In MK Deception, in the Netherrealm near the big arena you can see Johnny Cage and Goro fighting, but it appears Goro only has 2 arms. If you free-cam over to him and get super close, you can see he DOES have 4 arms, but his lower set are clipped into his torso.
Also KL isn't DEAD in the sea, but eternally sinking. Perhaps the "water" is breathable?

If Kung Lao was supposed to have been definitively killed by Shao Kahn, they would have done something better than tossing him into blood. Shao Kahn would have performed a fatality on him, but tossing him into the blood left it ambiguous.

I have a suggestion about a video idea.
How about making a video on how many different cultures and regions influenced MK throughout the years? Whether it's the music, stages or something else.
For example:
- First two games are inspired by Japanese/Chinese culture.
- Third game took a modernized street vibe.
- MK4 and MKDA is where it kinda started to get creepy and tribal, as well as returning to the oriental roots.
- MKD and MKA went with orchestral and sometimes arabic vibes.
- MK9 also went into a more modern vibe just like MK3.
- MKX and MK11 are a melting pot tbh. There are ancient Greek and Roman influences (Koliseum), Aztec culture by introducing Kotal and, if you pay attention, there is even Tuvan/Mongolian throat singing in the Koliseum stage of MK11 (I know I mention the Koliseum a lot, but the stage is such a mixed bag of many cultures that I have to bring it up).
The whole Frost Elsa thing was a neat little nod. But it does konfirm one thing that has made interactions with Karacters... well, less interactive. A lot of MK11'S intros are more about the words spoken rather than whome spoke the words.
BTW, that storm Rage on and Jacquie's ring are the things that wer new to me.
If you feel ideas running thin, I'd recommend covering info regarding fighting games made by a different developer. There are a lot with a ton of interesting inspirations.
