Jeff passed 5 years before I was born but my parents had his "Grace" album and would play it all the time. I grew up on his music and I just want him back
I know I'll never be able to meet him, but I can always go back to the memory of him through his music. And what music!!

See the people, the streets, the sun, life all by itself and cannot see jeff walking by, living happy and peacefully, maybe with a wife and kids is one of my biggest tragedies. I'll forever listen to his musics. (And i'm sure is the tragedy of a lot of people too. His family, friends and fans. Everyday people.)

Jeff's cover of Everyday People" of Sly and the Family Stone's 1968 is a classic anthem for equality.They literally bury the message, also the amazing sound of tablas... Tablas is a musical instrument that Jeff loved to play. Tablas is Music. It's all about Music. They are making a MUSIC video. At the beginning of the video, the scary noises of the city are awful. They pared down this idea considerably.
+Sofia Noiti That's not tablas, that's Jeff using his fingers to make percussive sounds on his guitar's pickup. I thought the sounds were appropriate, the percussive taps are too small to be ruined by the ambient sounds.
so? this is Jeff's guitar tapping skills... why should they have to cut his playing? It's all about MUSIC! Music is not small....even the slightest sound of it, it's the expression of the soul, every note has a feeling and its value. Musicians need to play guitar and percussions to tap on their guitar. It's a great technique. They underestimate Music. You know that Jeff played 12 instruments? and tablas...Jeff said "Every emotion has a sound". If Jeff was alive his music would be safer.
Jeff played 12 instruments on his record but he was only skilled in his voice, guitar and bass guitar. He wasn't THAT talented, but he was the best vocalist of all time in my opinion.... If Jeff said "Every emotion has a sound" then he would of enjoyed this video. Those distorted sounds to represent the emotion of discomfort, fear and loneliness. The fear that everyday people have to live with. It reminds of the middle section in 'So Real', the noise of him scratching and wailing his guitar. That was an emotion, that was noise. These are the sounds that Jeff is talking about, I am sure he was still making records today he would be using all kinds of ambient sounds and electronic music. He would of evolved with the times and his mother Mary Guibert is associated with all the music after his death.... she knew Jeff better than anyone and she probably was involved in this video.
Oh! I see! My respect! But she is just involved. And absolutely no one than Jeff himself could finish his own music. He also hated visuals.
