Def has the reeves build, smiling head looks better than I thought also. I kinda like the smirk head the best. This gives me hope for Keaton Batman. You can bens his chest back and get an even better flight pose.

This was a must have figure for me.
There are not that many Christopher Reeve action figures available out there. So when one becomes available it's kind of a big deal.
I had to pay $200 for mine.😔 But it was worth it.
I simply love the figure. If they would have made this figure in 1980, I would have 🎉🎉🎉 as a kid.🦸
Great review as always! The headsculpt looks great imo! I didn't bother ordering this figure as I kinda wanted a more modern version of superman but seeing the reviews is making me so nostalgic for Reeves superman that I wish I had! He is still the best superman imo and still one of the best superhero movies of all time!

I received mine about 3 weeks ago. And it looks absolutely incredible in hand. I was actually surprised that pre-orders were still up when I went to the website to get mine a day and a half later. Nice video, man. Godspeed.
Nice review! Same thing happened to my cape as I handle it, it seems to get caught on the slightest thing. Other than that it's a great figure.

I say be patient. They still haven’t shipped them all out yet, so the full aftermarket supply hasn’t hit yet.
@@DorkLair To be fair, the $150 you referenced would basically be just retail plus shipping, which I really doubt will be the clearing price even for a highly manufactured figure
@@timlam3366 Sure many people did $150 shipped, but many others, specifically those who ordered 6 in states that don’t get charged sales tax from Mezco, got them for $128 shipped each. So I really don’t thing $150 is too crazy of an expectation once the supply fully hits. At some point, if there are a lot out there, sellers will start undercutting each other. But there’s still a few more weeks of shipping before we will get a true sense of the aftermarket. But I will say, even at $200 I think it’s still an awesome figure.
Excellent review, as always! I know I've said it before, but the way you show off the details and describe the figure is unparalleled. I like that you added some still images in at the end, those were fun to see! My Supes doesn't have a shipping label yet, but this video answered all my curiosities, so I'll rest easier while I wait for him 😊

Neca has a more younger looking Christopher Reeve as for Mezco more mature in my opinion. However I so pleased with this superman.
I really hate that they cut the length of the cape. Might not be the most popular opinion with a Christopher Reeve superman but I prefer the longer cape

I have the same problem with the "S" 😣
Have to say this (again!) the cape could've been a little longer,it is in the photos on the website,with the legs it's the first time I've seen the joints showing through!,on other figures with tight clothes you can't see this?!,& lastly the head sculpts look much better than the photos,it's been said before that it's always usually better in hand with Mezco figures!,nice review 👌

Hmm, Mezco haven't even shipped mine yet...
Someone posted a customer service chat from Mezco today in which they said they’ll be in the process of shipping Superman for the next few weeks.
@@DorkLair I was worried because their system sucks for saving new credit card info and nearly every single charge has been fucked up and I've had to re-enter all of my data every release even after deleting all charging info and entering only one. I was afraid I might have missed Superman (and Iron Fist) because of this problem.
