I actually bought a bottle of Da Bomb a while ago to try it out with friends. It does literally taste awefull. It's just all pain, no really good taste to speak off. I can't imagine anyone eating it regularly because they actually like the taste.
I feel their pain... I ordered a bottle of "Da Bomb" along with multiple other hot sauces and did my own makeshift Hot Ones challenge during the summer time. Basically the contest ended with me and all of my friends pacing the back yard, then laying in the back yard writhing in pain and sucking on ice cubes. Then my insides for the next couple of days were all messed up! This stuff is no joke!

I can concur, I ordered a bottle years ago, I still have it, I had several bad nights trying to use it lol. Tastes very metallic on the tongue... But I started using it in small amounts, I mix 3 or 4 drops of it in with my salsa verde and eat tortilla chips with it. that 4th drop can literally be too much added to about 6 cups of sauce. it's more of an extract than a hot sauce imo
Similar. First try was a shocking experience. Tried it a couple times since and have not found a small enough amount where tears don't pour down my face. The comment that describes it as extract more than sauce feels accurate.

I tried Da Bomb recently... And i love spicy things. There is literally no redeeming quality to Da Bomb apart from seeing other people react to it. No flavor, no zest, no gradual kick... it's just straight up hellfire. Definitely a conversation starter after the half hour of cooling your mouth down.
DaBomb hits so much harder and in such a strange way because it's basically capasicin suspended in oil with some additional spices to give it something approximating flavor, whereas most other hot sauces are basically pulverized super-hot peppers and additional flavorings in a liquid carrier like vinegar. Or, to summarize, although Hot Ones does have hotter sauces, DaBomb is basically edible pepper spray rather than actual food. Aside: Pure capsaicin powder is the Scoville limit of 16,000,000.
The Bomb is no joke. I seriously underestimated it while trying to impress a girlfriend. Ended up running like a mad fool trying to find a water fountain to dunk my head in.
Credit where due, Sean puts so much work into his prep, that’s what makes him so good. Hot sauce aside, he does a GREAT interview, or this just wouldn’t have survived so long. No doubt he has the respect of many many viewers.

I bought Da Bomb and let me tell you, that shit is insane. Spiciest thing I have ever tasted. Gave it to some friends and colleagues (told them what it was) and it is always a good laugh. Don't prank people with it, seen some panic attacks from it.

I've had both and actually hotter than either is the "Dragon in The Clouds" special sauce Hot Ones released. I think Apollo is hotter than beyond insanity.
I love watching these interviews and I especially like the guests who show no reaction until they take that first bite of Dabomb. I almost look forward to it because I know they will definitely feel this one.
The true beauty of this is those who volunteer from all walks of entertainment know they will be exposed in a unique and unpredictable way. This challenge is a true test of metal.
2021 was the year I actually tried Da Bomb Beyond Insanity. I can only describe it as a hot sauce that makes you feel as if your tongue is being stung by a swarm of wasps for about 10 minutes.

Da bomb was the first really hot hot sauce I tried, nearly 20 years ago. My friends and I used to dare each other to take little dabs of it all the time. I used to be able to handle it pretty damn well. We had a lot of fun with it. It's really cool seeing it become as well known and infamous, as it should be. . It's like the rest of the world is finally in on the inside joke my friends and I have had for nearly two decades now.
I have to say that Hot sauce is just no joke. It lingered after the next thing I ate. Expect stomach pains, it was horrible. But made a great laugh and my best friend got it in his eye 🤣
We just had a "hot one" among friends the other day. The bomb was the only one that got a reaction from the groupe. Rest was a mix of tasty and not so much. Funn stuff

I bought a bottle of Da Bomb in September 2020 and have been using it a couple drops at a time. Soup, chili, pizza, chicken, eggs, not a week goes by without using some. There's still enough left to take me into 2022.
I actually got this as a xmas present this year. This together with another one called 357 Magnum or something like that. I did try it for dinner on Xmas day. There are only a few of us in our family that have hot sauce on a regular basis so we're pretty much immune to tings considered "hot" to the common "white folk". lol However, this particular "hot sauce" is anything but. It has absolutely no flavor. It just burns. It didn't do anything to my lips, but my inner mouth and my stomach were not pleased with me. Having experienced this, I understand why people react this way. Granted, it was nowhere near as exaggerated as it is on the show. But I understand the vast majority of people on this show do not have hot sauce as part of their dinner. Since its not something that I would consider enjoyable to add to your dinner cuisine, its probably something I'll keep in the bottle and possibly regift it to someone I loath. lol Seriously, this is not what hot sauce is about. You try to add some added flare to your food. You don't want to taste battery acid as part of your diet. Regardless, I can't wait to see 2022's list of people taking on the gauntlet. :-)

Habanero Peppers, Chipotle Puree, water, Orange Juice Concentrate, Natural Pepper Flavoring, Tomato Paste, Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate. Reading those ingredients, I can tell you there's no orange juice flavor or any flavor for that matter. Just pure acid. lol This will probably remain in my fridge for the foreseeable future..

I tried Da Bomb recently... And i love spicy things. There is literally no redeeming quality to Da Bomb apart from seeing other people react to it.
No flavor, no zest, no gradual kick... it's just straight up hellfire. Definitely a conversation starter after the half hour of cooling your mouth down.

DaBomb hits so much harder and in such a strange way because it's basically capasicin suspended in oil with some additional spices to give it something approximating flavor, whereas most other hot sauces are basically pulverized super-hot peppers and additional flavorings in a liquid carrier like vinegar. Or, to summarize, although Hot Ones does have hotter sauces, DaBomb is basically edible pepper spray rather than actual food.
Aside: Pure capsaicin powder is the Scoville limit of 16,000,000.

Credit where due, Sean puts so much work into his prep, that’s what makes him so good. Hot sauce aside, he does a GREAT interview, or this just wouldn’t have survived so long. No doubt he has the respect of many many viewers.

Love this. Da Bomb has two stages from what I've seen. Theres the initial launch and then roughly 13 to 28 seconds for the second hit. You can almost time it. Brilliant.

I got apollo for Xmas and that shit is intense like instant burn. Haven't tried da bomb yet
@@sixohtwo12 Trust me, it's worse. Apollo has good flavor which in a way reduces the heat. while Da Bomb is 100% heat. I am still stunned it's not higher on the Scoville
I've had both and actually hotter than either is the "Dragon in The Clouds" special sauce Hot Ones released. I think Apollo is hotter than beyond insanity.

I love watching these interviews and I especially like the guests who show no reaction until they take that first bite of Dabomb. I almost look forward to it because I know they will definitely feel this one.

2021 was the year I actually tried Da Bomb Beyond Insanity. I can only describe it as a hot sauce that makes you feel as if your tongue is being stung by a swarm of wasps for about 10 minutes.

I like to think the echoes aren't added in. I think it adds to just hot the sauce is that they literally transcend the 4th dimension to react to it
I absolutely love this so much. The bottle alone, is already a sign of absolute danger to your mouth, but it makes for excellent content. I LOVE IT!!!

Da bomb was the first really hot hot sauce I tried, nearly 20 years ago. My friends and I used to dare each other to take little dabs of it all the time. I used to be able to handle it pretty damn well. We had a lot of fun with it. It's really cool seeing it become as well known and infamous, as it should be. . It's like the rest of the world is finally in on the inside joke my friends and I have had for nearly two decades now.
I think Simu Liu's reaction is my favorite. "This is not how my mom raised me" had me rolling. 😂😂

I have to say that Hot sauce is just no joke. It lingered after the next thing I ate. Expect stomach pains, it was horrible. But made a great laugh and my best friend got it in his eye 🤣

Would it be possible to bring the/one of the creators/owners of Da Bomb on the show? I feel like someone from that spice industry company would be great AND they’d get a taste of their own medicine. Though if they’re “the creators” they may be numb to the poison that is Da Bomb lol
I bought a bottle of Da Bomb in September 2020 and have been using it a couple drops at a time. Soup, chili, pizza, chicken, eggs, not a week goes by without using some. There's still enough left to take me into 2022.
I actually got this as a xmas present this year. This together with another one called 357 Magnum or something like that.
I did try it for dinner on Xmas day. There are only a few of us in our family that have hot sauce on a regular basis so we're pretty much immune to tings considered "hot" to the common "white folk". lol However, this particular "hot sauce" is anything but. It has absolutely no flavor. It just burns. It didn't do anything to my lips, but my inner mouth and my stomach were not pleased with me. Having experienced this, I understand why people react this way. Granted, it was nowhere near as exaggerated as it is on the show. But I understand the vast majority of people on this show do not have hot sauce as part of their dinner.
Since its not something that I would consider enjoyable to add to your dinner cuisine, its probably something I'll keep in the bottle and possibly regift it to someone I loath. lol Seriously, this is not what hot sauce is about. You try to add some added flare to your food. You don't want to taste battery acid as part of your diet.
Regardless, I can't wait to see 2022's list of people taking on the gauntlet. :-)

Habanero Peppers, Chipotle Puree, water, Orange Juice Concentrate, Natural Pepper Flavoring, Tomato Paste, Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate.
Reading those ingredients, I can tell you there's no orange juice flavor or any flavor for that matter. Just pure acid. lol
This will probably remain in my fridge for the foreseeable future..
@@neoanderson7 no worries. That's so crazy they've managed to make something that sounds good with those ingredients (minus the preservatives) into a toxic cesspool.
