Its not even technically hot sauce you're meant to put a small drop into a pot.
it's a cooking sauce, you are supposed to put it in something, if you want to make it spicy. For example, I have a really hot sauce at home and I use it for spicy spaghetti and it goes like this 3-5 drops and it's perfect, 5+ drops and you throw away the whole dish :)

It's not even that hot for real, I've had dozens of hot sauces that are hotter. But none of them fuck up up the way Da Bomb does because Da Bomb also assaults' your palate with the most irredeemable, straight up asshole flavor. Even without the heat it'd be be gut wrenching.
Da bomb taste like the kind of shit they put in these hot wing contests at restaurants. It's not just the scoville it smells like the inside of a dead tauntaun.

See, I had a worse time with da bomb the hours and day following. I felt it just burning through the lining of my stomach about 40 minutes after eating it. I swear it must have burned a hole it hurt so bad. Then it eventually went away... until. Just before bed it must have entered my intestines bc the pain came back but, like, deeper. Idk how to describe it. It was right under the left side of my ribs. I did my best to ignore the pain and eventually fell asleep. UNTIL I woke up at 3am and felt a horrible cramping in my lower right quadrant of my abdomen. Like doubling over pain. I suffered through it for an hour and fell back asleep. Woke up, felt fine. UNNTTTILLLLLL all of a sudden around noon, 24 hours after it entered my body, it decided it was time to exit my body. I have never had a shit so violent in my life. I was clutching at the walls, bracing my skinny ankles, and crying lol. The entirety of my stomach cramped all at once for like 2 minutes of pure hell, my ahole literally bled, and I sweat out half the water in my body while shaking profusely. But then it was over.
So yeah can't recommend it out of an abundance of caution for your digestive system.
TLDR; I ate the sauce and went on a 24 hour journey through hell as it tore up my insides and finally my butt hole on its way out. Do not recommend.

I used to work in a kitchen with a bunch of Indian and Filipino dudes and they ate there food hot as fuck lol always putting that stuff in it and we had super hot wings on the menu but apparently they weren't hot enough cuz people would always send then back and tell them to make it hotter so we'd toss them in a bit of DaBomb and I don't think we ever seen one of those plates of wings come back empty after that lol
About 20 years ago, I was visiting my cousin in Southern California. He introduced me to Da Bomb, and told me it was an extract to add heat to already seasoned dishes (like chili or salsa), and NOT an actual hot sauce. He then let me try it. I put a drop on a tortilla chip, then foolishly put the chip in my mouth in such a way that the sauce and not the chip came in direct contact with my tongue. OMG. The pain was incredible.
I guess they do make an actual hot sauce, too. But, what I had was the extract, and it only took a drop on a chip to learn a lesson.
Da Bomb will never go away and it makes me so happy ^.^ the content it creates it just so good. Even if you're more so listening to the episode while doing other stuff you know the second their on that sauce haha

I first had Da Bomb like 20 years ago and I still talk about it. I tried to go back to work after trying it at lunch and I felt like I was losing my mind. Please never take it off the show!

About a decade before this show came out I tried DaBomb. Like everyone says, it's very hot and the flavor isn't great. Everyone in the office used a toothpick to add it to our tacos. A "big" guy came in and laughed at us, then proceeded to slather his taco with it. He turned beat read and sweated the entire rest of the day.
Da Bomb is still a tough one to handle man. Definitely something to look forward to every episode.

Same here. I don't regret buying it but, my GOD, it is terrible. You have to taste it to believe it. And really, "taste" is not the right word. It has no flavor. In the words of Ralph Wiggum, "it tastes like burning."

Never tried it. Broke a bottle of it at work once, scooped up contents, took to backroom with sink, sprayed it off the dustpan and into sink, aeorosolized it and room was uninhabitable for hours.

Were I come from we call that shot the "flatliner" (tequila and sambucha, with a "line" of da bomb in the middle), usually bartenders gives this "on the house" to guys that they think have had enough for the night... Cuz, after a "flatliner", you won't drink anymore that night..

The factory that makes Da Bomb is like 5 minutes from my house. You can go inside, they've got a little shop in there where you can buy things and try things. Da Bomb has a blue label sauce that's 4 million Scoville. I've tried it and its way worse than the black label. You should put that one on the show.

I'm kind of a chili-head, grow my own, make my own sauce etc.
I got hold of "Da Bomb" many years ago in my quest to find hotter hot sauces (not like the generic "Franks" or "Tabasco"), this was before I discovered Blair's.
I can honestly say that I have no idea how this sauce still exists.
The taste is somewhere between gasoline and lighter fluid, and the heat is nowhere near a pleasant experience.
The only thing that comes to mind keeping this sauce alive, is people buying it to someone as a prank.
It really is rancid...trust me.
Sorry if you know this already but Da Bomb is made from extract rather than actual peppers, youre not supposed to put it directly on wings, youre supposed to put a few drops to raise the heat of a whole meal like italian meat sauce or chili.

It was this time of year last year that I cleaned off 5 wings dripped in it LIVE. 16hrs of recovery the next day later and I still remember exactly how it feels like and how it taste like. Of course it didn't help the fact that I started taking shots afterwards from those hot wings lol. I give you so much respect Sean for constantly doing it for 16 seasons now.

If you mix a hot sauce with a high scoville level and another one with an even higher scoville level. Does that increase the heat of the sauce or does it dilute it?

I just tried Da Bomb Ground Zero, the hotter version of “Beyond Insanity” and it was insane! I covered it on some hot pickles and my stomach has never hurt so bad in my life. I definitely recommend if you’re trying to throw up/pass out!

It's a unique flavor- I used it regularly on my food. A little goes a long way. Wouldn't buy it on my own (it's one of those sauces that is just hot for the sake of it but doesn't actually bring anything to a dish other than heat)
DA BOMB needs to be discontinued from production, but I gotta admit: it's 66% of why I'm addicted to this series. Keep on Bombing them, Sean Evans!
Bought this sauce at the Horseshoe Casino 20 years ago . Wiped sweat from my eyes after having some and damn, thought I was pepper sprayed! Mom in law had to flush my eyes. All I did was put the lid on and forget about it.🥵

I've had a bottle of Da Bomb for about a year and I literally threw it away 2 days ago. That, my Maddog 357, and Blairs Death Sauce. I never go for them. Wife got me a Hot Ones subscription. So, I get new ones now.
