Sorry for my unsolicited advice. Understand the difference between unaassi and unaanabe. You must have heard OON, POUN and swayaa. Oon is one less. Poun is 25 less. Swayaa is 25 more. 79 is unaassi/unwaasi and 89 is UNAANABE but not Unaassi or Unwaasi.

Religion and cultural social tradition are different thing.... muslims of various region follow their age old tradition....for e.g. the muslims of Arab follows some of their pre Islamic Arab traditions.. the cental asian muslims follow their own tradition...siimiliarly the muslims of sub continent follow their own traditions... which is a hindu origins... because 90% muslims of Indian subcontinent are converted from hindus..... I myself is a bengali muslim and I love bengali calendar for me which is sweet calander and I don't like Arabic calander which is dry....we use Arabic calander for religious purpose... if a mulla from utter pradesh or from Arabia tell me to leave bengali calendar because it is a hindu calander...Will I leave it??? My answer is no... I will preferred to kick the mulla of utter pradesh...at the same time I like sikander lodhi and firoz shah tughlaq ' s religious policy to expand Islam in india...except the force policy or other fanatic policy... the policy of zajiya tax was a kind of policy to convert hindus into Islam...today India pakistan and bangladesh together I think we have 50% muslim population...
@أبو موسى can you tell me before Islam which calender people of Arabia used ? And whether it is lsamic calender or Arabic calender for me it us same...it's dry compare to bengali calender .. the months of sawan, and part in sound much sweeter to me than sawal or ramadan etc... we use this calender for religious purposes..so don't be a fanatic mulla try to understand with reasons....
