They didn’t show us how she became the Witcher and how she passed the trials in this game from the beginning. Ciri had green eyes before in wild hunt. The truth is I don’t know how this game is going to look like.
Smth cool that I think may be relevant: The monster in the Witcher 4 trailer was called a bauk, and supposedly used its opponent’s fears against them. It said to Ciri “Fate cannot be changed. You cannot change anything.” Maybe this idea of trying to stop Ithillines prophecy or mutate her blood is pivotal to the story…

I've been doing lots of theory crafting and the coin fits perfectly with The Witcher's themes of time, destiny, and lineage-especially considering Ciri’s Elder Blood and her central role in the series. "Days and nights pass": A poetic nod to the cyclical nature of time, an ever-present theme in The Witcher. This could relate to Ciri’s ability to travel across time and space, her unchanging fate, or the endurance of witcher traditions. "The blood remains the same": A direct reference to the Elder Blood, which flows through Ciri’s veins, marking her as unique and tied to prophecies. It also ties to the witchers' ongoing struggle to preserve their legacy despite the world changing around them. The Prophecy of Ithlinne: - The books have long referenced a child of the Elder Blood who will either save the world from the White Frost or bring about its destruction. If Ciri were to have a child, this could finally manifest the prophecy-putting her in a devastating moral conflict as both a mother and a hero. The Elder Blood Dilemma: - Ciri has struggled with her Elder Blood throughout the series, seeing it as both a blessing and a curse. What if her child-someone with even purer Elder Blood-becomes a force she cannot control? It would echo the central Witcher theme of fate versus free will. The quote could be directly referencing the endurance of Elder Blood through generations. While the world changes-new witcher schools, kingdoms, and threats emerge-the Elder Blood persists as a symbol of power and danger.
The whole Mother of the Destroyer of Worlds also could mean that she must not be the giver of birth to said child. Shes considered daughter of Geralt and Yen, while not sharing their blood. Who knows how cryptic such prophecies are. Suddenly it comes down to a motherly relationship or something else.
Imagine going infertile, then getting a sidekick and evolving into a surrogate parent for said sidekick only for said sidekick to become the Wooby, the destroyer of worlds.
Your thoughts on the potential blood oriented storyline and her wanting to stop the prophecy is one of the best narrative explanations I have heard yet. Have not been feeling very good about the approach to the game and Ciri so far. But that is actually an interesting avenue to explore.
@@WesNemo i`m sure the trials she undergoes will be related to the elder blood storyline somehow. I wish we can make young witchers and give them contracts like ac brotherhood type of thing you know?
If they keep Ciri about as good looking as she was and same likable personality as in 3, be good to Garault, no modern political crap, lore/world rules stays as true as possible, and last the game as fun and engrossing as last one then they'll have my money.
Imagine playing witcher 3 and thinking it’s not political xd
