For fantasy books, you can go all out to thinking what the Elves or Gnomes eat, especially when they describe their table of pastries and sweet treats. I might just be hungry thinking about this. 😂

8:16 that spine crack tho and honestly, These Hollow Vows sounds like something I would hate lmao. The way you describe the character is something I don't like reading about. I hate when we have characters who are the 'best at everything' but they don't show it. When I review my videos, sometimes it's hard for me to look at myself so I just watch my videos one time when I edit to get it out of the way 😅 and to avoid the program from crashing because the program does sometimes crash, and I cry when I don't save it😭 okay but the Last Diviners book edition looks amazing!
It was truly killing me, if I hadn’t been prepared by zodiac academy in the sense that you just have to stick through some terrible characters for a good plot- I would’ve put this book down. Like, im just begging authors at this point to show not tell lmaoo. And the system crashing is such a horrifying experience, idk if you have a PC that you’d be able to add RAM to, but having more memory has been a life saver in editing for me!! Also the background saving feature in Final Cut is the main reason so many of my videos haven’t erased

At the moment I am leaning towards Way Back Home by Courtney Peppernell because it is the sequel to Watering the Soul which I loved so much. I describe it as soft winter poetry.

I stopped reading YA romance and contemporaries a long time back but recently I'm not having a good time reading YA fantasy either becuz most of them make me so annoyed . The only YA fantasy I loved recently are Once upon a Broken Heart series and Kingdom of the Wicked trilogy, tho I didn't know until recently that KoW was YA becuz it felt more like NA especially the last one with all that smut 😆.
THIS! I feel the same way lately about YA. Something about it has been making me hate read through it- like I’m still enjoying the process, but it a judgey way. Also, definitely feel what you mean about some YA reading very NA. I think those are the ones I typically prefer, but there just really needs to be a better marketing strategy for NA, so that these authors aren’t forced to market their very clearly new adult book as young adult

we’re so sad we weren’t making podcasts for all the releases this year, I think we’re going to do an end of the year podcast giving all our thoughts on the shows and movies we didn’t get to talk about, but depending on how much we have to say I’d love to still do separate podcasts for everything. We just weren’t sure people would still want that so far after the releases!

Like this copy of game of thrones had been at about 100 bucks every other time I’d looked, but it just so happening that this time around it was only $30, so I jumped at the chance!
