such an amazing outcome for this project Nat. I can see it on the shelves of Barnes and Noble! I love the red pleather too and never would have thought to put it through for die cutting. The initial seal is fabulous!!
Thanks Valita, I loved using the pleather for this and the outcome - something very different for me and looking forward to filling the cover up sometime ☺💕
I though the luggage tag holders were open up top, but when planning this thought it was easier to do it on the side so could be removed easy. I might do some the standard way in future though 🙃😘💕
You are so very inventive and inspire me so much! For sewing do you use just a household machine with a leather type needle? I do have a Jan ting that I haven’t even tried yet so this weekend I’ll try! A link for sealing wax would be so helpful if you have a chance! Thanks for your time and energies here!
Thanks Beverly! So many people inspire me too ☺ it is wonderful to have UA-cam to have such inspiration and tutorials 🙂 I have an old (20years)Janome sewing maching, not an expensive one either. I have never changed the needle 😅The pleather was easy enough to go through once I got it started but would catch on occasion at the start. I think it would be easier to sew with the smooth/front side down but the stitches wouldn't look as neat then........ Now for sealing wax, I know that Globleland do not post it to Australia unfortunately so I tend to search online via Amazon for mine. It can be expensive so best to do a search and find a deal that seems suitable for you ☺💕
If you search "how to use a cropodile" in UA-cam there are heaps of tutorials that you may find handy. This is likely what I did when I got mine as I had no idea on which way to turn the block thingos 😂
Love these products! Everything looks good.
Thanks Jennifer, I love trying out different product and seeing how I can use them in future for my journals. These ones were great fun to use ☺🥰
The tag and journal cover are incredibly beautiful! I love that a lot!
Thanks so much Deirdre, I really liked how they turned out too and such a great way to use the pleather 🙂🌻

All looks great Nat, thanks for the mention. These journals would make great travellers notebooks ❤
Agreed, they would work well for those. Thanks so much for the pleather 🙂😘

Interesting use of Luggage Tags ... for luggage the tag is generally open at the top and held closed by the strap.. your idea is unique!!! XX

Still not sure how to properly use my cropodile! Lost the instructions!
