I don't get why the Liberals and NDP, but especially the Liberals, don't start citing the economic growth experienced by other countries that have legalized and taxed marijuana sales. It not only kicks an absolutely astounding amount of money to the government, but additionally it drops the crime rate to unbelievably low levels which means that the funding, previously used to incarcerate and sustain droves upon droves of people, is also added to the general pool. Why don't Justin, Tom, and Elizabeth start throwing in some proven factual statistics to shut little Stevey H up? Actually, nevermind, I suppose that question was inadvertently rhetorical. I already know the answer is because Justin, Tom, and Elizabeth are Canadians and therefore are polite and courteous almost to a fault whIle little Stevey H was so offended to be referenced as "Canadian" that one of his first moves in office was to change the Canadian federal letterhead from "Government of Canada" to "The Harper Government".
Think about that for a second. Everyone who received a Canadian federal letter, presumably, realized who they were corresponding with so the distinction is moot. The plain and simple fact here is that Harper looked at the Canadian federal letterhead, the same one we've used since the beginning of Canada, and must have realized that it does not describe him and his intentions. He must have realized that he does not represent the "Government of Canada" but rather he represents "The Harper Government". So it's that or he either felt some kind of offense to being referred to as the "Government of Canada", or else he had some kind of superiority complex causing him to believe he belongs on a pedestal compared to all other Canadian Prime Ministers through history. Now that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing if he actually did some good for the country but considering his statistically proven track record as one of the worst, in every category, Prime Ministers we've ever had... It seems clear to me that his distaste for being called the "Government of Canada" is not rooted in his superiority over all other Canadian Prime Ministers, but rather it's rooted in his distaste of Canada.

An omnibus bill is a proposed law that covers a number of diverse or unrelated topics. Omnibus is derived from Latin and means "for everything". An omnibus bill is a single document that is accepted in a single vote by a legislature but packages together several measures into one or combines diverse subjects. Bill C-51 is such a bill. Created by the corporations for the corporations this bill has nothing to do with terrorists, and everything to do with control over Canada’s resources. This bill was created for the extremely wealthy. Harpers media will only focus on select parts of this bill. There are many parts to this bill.
Bill C-51 takes away the law of trespass so any corporation that wants your land already has more privileges to that property than you have. Bill C-51 also takes away your right to court intervention that means you can’t fight them in court. If you put up a fight you can be charge under Bill C-51 for hindering the progress of Canada, under Bill C-51 you will be subject to a secret court case and be treated as a terrorist.
Liberals supported the conservatives in passing this bill. Bill C-51 was put in place for corporate reason and it wasn’t to make Canada a safer place for us. Why would they be concerned that terrorist would come to Canada to buy properties, and then use our court system for judicial intervention?
