Best thing about Jolene is it always comes across as queer. If it's sung by a man, he's worried about losing his man. If it's sung by a woman, there's some real sapphic undercurrents between her and Jolene. And if it's sung by someone non-binary, well it's just completely queer at that point.

Today marks one year I lost my dog Storm. She was 16 and I had her since she was a baby. Hearing three of my favorite singers performing one of my favorite songs really helps the pain!
