I can't ever feel good about killing her or Kael...they really were just out there trying their best for their people... I hope their Shadowlands incarnations will be allies.

Poor Vashj. She only wanted to be loved....but it seems it always comes at a terrible price at the worlds of the WoW universe
Yup zuljin and the other troll tribes wanted unity but blizzard chose to save voljin and kill the rest off
Sylvannas wanted the lich king dead got struck wanted the forsaken to unite the blizzard maid her a complete savage but i still support her till they eventually kill her off
@@Faust_ZA what truly needs to happen is for evrybody to come togheter into a room and finally truly say the true horrors and tragedy they have gone trough. If that would happen then the hole story would end since evrybody would be like: Oh my god I didn't knew. Are you ok? Dumb question of course you aren't I swear to you I will support you and help you no matter what.
And than they all go into a big group hug.
Basicly they all need a group therapy session and than theyr relationships could slowly heal and all of the conflict would end.
...oh and blizzard needs to stay out of that room and as far away as possible. Because sometimes it seems to me that that is ecxacly what they are doing because some charakters seem to make a 180 sometimes.

Considering how Azshara never had loyalties to N’zoth in the first place and just pretended to, most likely Vashj also had no loyalty to him that’s why she remained with Illidan.

Naga`s sad lore is pretty good, specially of Azshara, but then i remember how terrible Azjatar is if you dont have flying.... Jeez, that multi-layout map makes me sick

Quick idea maybe for a series. I recently found a couple on UA-cam reacting to wow Cinematics. Titled something like “non wow players reacting to Bfa cinematic”. It was great. One thing blizzard does well are those cinematics. They watched the ones with Sylvanus calls the horde nothing and then the other where she went and destroyed the LK. And the chat blows up telling them to watch wotlk one for the story being it’s one of the most famous stories. And you can tell especially the chick is into the story. Got me thinking how cool it would be if there was a series of videos about wow lore that was designed for non wow players. Almost Something you would send a friend to entice them to play. “Hey we have stories like this”. A video that’s intended for someone who’s never played or heard of Sylvanus or thrall. Just an idea.

So damn sad about the Burning crusade lore, all 3 they seemed like such a good team, but they all fell into madness for plot reasons, I'm still disappointed of the few content that Vashj has, I have a slight hope that this would change in Shadowlands

We were just talking about this in my guild! I'm personally of the opinion that Lady Vashj and the Coilscar Naga serve Illidan on the orders of Queen Azshara. She's shown herself to be clever, Vashj is famously loyal to her, and she had an interest in seeking revenge on the Burning Legion and Sargeras for failing her and condemning her to Nzoth's service. Just as she played us off against Nzoth, I think she was playing Illidan off against the Legion and the other powers that might oppose her in the future.
If that is the case it would mean that Azshara's done more to protect Azeroth and save the cosmos than most other lore characters, all for her own glorification. The fact that the Coilscar loyally serve the Illidari and maintain the fortress on Mardum, even after Illidan's defeat, implies that they were committed to the Legion's downfall.
Besides, most Old God followers are fanatically and self-destructively loyal to their masters. The Naga have always seemed more independent and enigmatic.
Came here after meeting her in shadowlands. I was like “hey I killed you like 13 years ago in TBC”
Personal head canon, Vashj is her name, but the devs fked up by making it seem like its was her family name in Cataclysm. Illidan never called Kael or Arthas by Sunstrider or Menethil, but constantly kept calling her Vashj, even without the "Lady".

It's "canon." Although canon and cannon are both tools used to destroys ships.
It makes perfect sense that she keeps being loyal to Illidan, and that the Old Gods would want her to be. Illidan wants to destroy the Burning Legion, who was created to destroy everything resembling the Void. Why not bolster the ranks of someone wanting to destroy the ones who want to destroy you?
Because for most of the time Illidans goals where helpful towards the Legion, and only turned on them when he failed.
Well Azshara never had Loyalties to the old gods and she was planning to kill N’zoth. So most likely Vashj also wasn’t loyal to the old gods.

@@ninaloveray True, but Nobbel does mention that the naga helped as a command from the Old Gods. I'd say that the naga were either keeping the charades going, or they were parts of the naga more susceptible to the direct will of the old gods compared to Azshara

SHADOWLANDS UPDATE (9.0/9.0.5) Lady Vashj journeyed into the Shadowlands, was judged by the Arbiter as a courageous soul, and was sent to the warzone of Maldraxxus, where she rose through the ranks f skeletal soldiers to become a Baroness of the House of Eyes. After her house was destroyed in the ongoing Maldraxxi civil war, we find her trying to foil the plot of a Lich. We help her, of course, and when we finish the Maldraxxus zone story before heading off to Ardenweald, she joins up with Draka in the Seat of the Primus to co-lead the Covenant in the Primus' absence.

Wowthere are big changes. Elves urn to naga. Vash changes from a handmaided to a leader. The video mentions poor unfortunate souls with merfolk. This reminds me of Ursula from the Little Mermaid.

Actually a very tragic story. Thinking of how much she sacrificed to get that ship with Illidan (very similar to himself and Tyrande) just to get killed. Although i have to admit Illidan and Maiev play better of one another.

isn't it a little controversial that in Warcraft 3, Vashj said "We were night elf" but in the video you said they were inside a city from the highborn elfs? Maybe there is something wrong with the lore?
Highborne are night elves. The upper class of night elves.
Maybe I can give you a bit of an explanation/overview regarding what exactly is going on there:
1.) Trolls mutated into Night Elves when they absorbed over time the powers of the Well of Eternity (Magic Wells have always shaped their race)
2.) Highborne were the upper class of Night Elves that "split" from what we now know as Night Elves (Source of Power: Well of Eternity)
3.) Aszhara's Highborne became Naga
4.) The Nightborne were Highborne that walled themselves off, didn't become Naga, but mutated through the Nightwell
5.) High Elves are Highborne that mutated through the Sunwell after they defied Aszhara (and the Burning Legion) and were exiled into the Eastern Kingdoms
6.) Blood Elves are High Elves that got corrupted after they blew up the Sunwell because of their hunger for magic (they nourished themselves with any type of magic until the Sunwell was restored)
So Highborne are simply Night Elves from the upper class of Night Elf society and High Elves are a mutated form of Night Elves. Aszhara and her follower were always Night Elves (they were just the elitist bunch), but the Highborne Night Elves that defied Aszhara turned into Nightborne (Nighwell) or High Elves (Sunwell). I assume the similar names confused you a bit?

When I started playing in wotlk, I didnt know anything about the lore and barely understood any english. I remember thinking the naga were the ultimate bad guys since the were everywhere and Vashj being their leader as she was the only named naga I knew. It felt kinda wrong she wasnt even mentioned during legion
There was actually a legendary named after her.
Hope, Vashj be in the Shadowland since all the spirit of the dead resided that dimension. So, it make sense that she is over there as well. But time will tell.

Elves seam to be the basis of everything in the game, so where did the humans come from?
Made as constructs of the Titan keepers then infected by the Curse Of Flesh.
The Titans made soldiers made out of iron, but the Curse of Flesh made by Yogg-Saron turned the soldiers into the Vrykul and eventually runts were being born from them that were Humans.
Elves are former trolls
They kinda have the same back story as gnomes and dwarves with being Titan constructs who through curse of flesh were cursed with flesh and able to be ccorrupted a lot easier.
