Art concealing art. Faultless virtuosity totaly at the service of the music. It would not be hard to make a case that we are listening to one of the greatest organists of all time here.

And to think Vierne was pretty much blind... beautifully played! Music from a different place and time. Sumptuous... and not at all easy. Bravo!

*Really wonderful!* You made this infamously hard piece by Vierne look so _effortless_ ... Perfect! Rx

It's incredible that you played this piece as well as you did from memory. Very well done.

I think that is just about the finest performance of this very difficult piece, and I have heard this piece many many times. Everything was fluid, notes all in their places, beautiful phrasing, gorgeous scales and arpeggios. Top notch!!!!

Definitely has that British 'feel' to the voicing. That Choir Harmonic Flute is just..........glorious.

Swoon! Not much else to say. One of my favourites since I first heard it as a wide eyed teenager.
Not an impossible piece to play, but almost impossible to play well enough to make it worth playing publicly (IMHO)... And Katelyn Emerson AGAIN knocks it out of the park with her interpretation of the French repertoire!

I am completely smitten. I first heard Schriener do this on a recording of the Mormon Tabernacle Organ, but I think this recording has set the bar much higher. Absolutely lovely playing.

He's often compared to Debussy, but I'd like to see Debussy top that!
