This reminds me a lot of the confessional Lutheran teaching on Vocation.. That our individual behavior on earth is best when it is in service to the people directly in front of me.. My individual time, talents, abilities, etc., are not for me to enjoy but for my neighbor's benefit.. As a wife and mother, my closest neighbors are my husband and children.
Hi, this is Wil, i help Terry on some of his social media, youtube etc. Terry wouldn't say that Collectivism is "the" way to go either necessarily. It isn't about individualism VS collectivism. It is about considering your partner, considering the other person, doing your own work and living, as Terry calls it, Relationally.
This guy is the real deal! No pun intended. Terry is a Godsend to humanity. Give this a listen.
Love your insights and teachings Terry. I so align …and I am grateful to have found you.
Thank you for your support, Cynthia!

Brilliant, Terry. Thank you for your excellent videos.
Thanks for the reminder Terry. It’s too much energy to be selfish when all we want is love and acceptance.
Beautifully put!
I am already tired and fed up of this toxic individualism. It is immature and stuns personal development
You and me both! Thank you for commenting - engaging in this conversation is how we create opportunity for change within ourselves and others.
Currently listening to your book Fierce Intimacy and love to learn more about shame based learning. Can you please discuss that more.
This video should be way more popular
