Well, they could do that because they manipulated a new design space. An anomaly unit who needs crit. They did that before with Caesar, a defense unit who is basically a stunner and scales off impact. But each time you do something groundbreaking like that, you start to run out of design space for others like it. They might try to keep doing things like this to sell engines, but there's only so much that can be done. For example, an attack unit that cares about anomaly makes way less sense than an anomaly unit that also cares about crit, because it's anomaly units that get the mastery % increase with their kit.
Main reason why I decided to skip her now. Too much investment on a unit that I'm not sure how future proof it will be. And I already have Zhu yuan, Yanagi, Jane, Burnice, and S11.

Rina is fine, but most people do not enjoy playing her. She also isn't the easiest to play if not M1. M1 makes her MUCH better. It's a totally fine choice and can perform super well.

So let's say tentatively i have 8 tapes loaded with guaranteed S rank right now in 21 draws, and around estimated 13k polys by the time she releases. Should I prioritise getting her weapon right after getting her first copy or should i continue to draw for her copies? (assuming my 21st draw wins).
As a chronically bad drive disk roller, I have a small question: does the 80% critrate goal include the buff from the new set (+12%)? So in other words, even in teams without a second Flex-ice teammate, the uptime of the buff is high enough to not just be an unreliable bonus? I'm still thinking about whether I should get Lycaon with the 300 pull or not. I like the style of Miyabi-Yanagi-Lycaon. And I've wanted the latter since day 1 anyway because he was missing from my ice team. But investing a lot in him now just to swap him for Astra Yao also seems a bit wasted.

Neither her M2 nor weapon are required to clear well simply because she does so much DMG - 4pc shockstar on lycaon, 4pc freedom on soukaku. AM slot 6 soukaku, but ER is fine too. - I stopped going into bangboos, I dont think they matter enough compared to everything else. Regardless, lv60 bangboo > any other bangboo, if all 60, in a lyc + soukaku team, sharkboo or penguinboo
Do you think Miyabi M2 will be good to make her a 100% field time since she generates stacks herself? I dont have any Limited character since I started on the beggning of Lighter banner and lost 50/50 to grace (sad). So im thinking about investing on her since she looks like a long term Character

I can confirm that it works, but again, they do NOT share the same gauge. However, in the same way Ice DMG% applies to her Frost DMG, Ice Anomaly Build-Up works for Frost Anomaly.
Honestly - I don't know. I was just as surprised. However, my guess is: Miyabi has all kinds of DMG amplifies already in her kit (M0) and/or weapon. Crit, DMG%, Ice RES Shred. Which means the multipliers she is missing are Pen Ratio, which mostly works well with Rina, ATK%, which we can cover with Disk Drives pretty well and DEF Ignore - which is what Nicole provides. Nicole also provides some Crit Rate, however, said crit rate is a debuff on the enemy and not a buff on miyabi, so this crit rate does not work for her build-up. It does boost her crit to nearly 100% though. R5 Vaultand Swing Jazz just add ontop of that

We checked Ellens Sig as Comparison on stream yesterday, it was at about 70%, so worse than other options - so yes you can, but Rainforest or sth is still bit better

Probably coping, but I also havent done calcs in it. You can play critnice also without a crit mainstat weapon. Better at M4, but still works well at M0.
From watching most of Iamrivenous’s recommended disc drives. He loves loves lovessss to promote caveman builds. Wheres the elemental love? Did you test the build out with just ice weakness monsters?
I list the different possibilities in my vids. As disclosed, I also calc'd with Ice DMG% in Slot 5. I am merely saying, for people who want to get the very most out of their char, they can go the +1% dmg route. And no, as shown in the showcase, I try all possibilities.
Not necessarily too much but can be kind of clunky. Run it as burnice/miyabi/yanagi and it should be pretty smooth. M1 miyabi would allow everybody to abuse build for utter chaos levels of disorders. There will probably be moments where you end up dropping stacks, but the build disorders so much it should even matter. Especially if burnice and yanagi are m1s1.
I dont understand the importance of the disorder for her. If the AM slot 6 is "optional" it is because she apply enough anomaly to setup the disorder by her or his teammate or its not so important to trigger it ? (with or without Yanagi). In the showcase in the end of the video, what is the Miyabi slot 6 ? She seems had a good application.
I used ATK% for all showcases. She gains 2 stacks of fallen frost every time disorder is triggered. Her anomaly application is enough, getting the additional ATK is much better from my personal experience.

A tip unrelated to the video topic. You should look into how to "de-ess" your voice audio. Your "S" sounds can be quite sharp and was a bit distracting to me.

Freedom Blues and the fact that she can already run a lot of ATK%, which makes a flat ATK gain slightly less valuable

Long term dps? Its hard to say... new agent always be better
She'll definitely have longevity even at m0. M2 will make her busted for very long time. She only gets stronger with future chars

He isnt needed, neither is Yanagi. Lycaon + Soukaku are great alternatives for Miyabi. Piper + Lucy or Piper + Soukaku work as well
