Maturity is realising that Charlie was by far the best man in the entire franchise. He honestly deserved better, and I'd love to see a spin off featuring him finding happiness.
This bothered me so much. Edward admits to killing people and wanting to kill her but that's fine because she's in love with a guy who she thought hated her for weeks. But her childhood friend and the person who helped her out during a hard time is biologically turned into a werewolf and defends the town against vampires that actually kill people and suddenly murder is wrong? "Am I the wrong kind of monster for you? " Bella is the problem.
The fact that she was willing to throw herself off of a cliff for a man really was enough for me to be team Jacob. It seems like she was more happier and sane with him. Him being beautiful is the icing on the cake. #TEAMJACOB

I was TEAM JACOB when I read these in middle school and high school. Until something happened in one of the books that was a big hell no for me. Then I grew up and looked back on the books/movies and I couldn't figure out why I liked Jacob so much cause now he just pisses me off but New Moon is peak Jacob. my mum & aunt loved twilight so much that they went to italy while they were filming this movie lmao, that’s dedication considering we live in australia and don’t have much money, like they went to the other side of the damn world 😭 i was also raised on twilight, like i was 7 when my mum sat me down and was like “we’re gonna watch a movie” and i instantly became obsessed lmao. i got to see the final movie in cinema when i was 10 and it was truly a moment.
What I like more about Elena is that she didn’t want to be a vampire and seemed less obsessed with the Salvatore brothers. And the acting was more to my liking also 😬
please know that tvd tv show only took the most basic things from the books like the names of some characters but the showrunners and writers really made something better and original imo with what they had to work with!! for example: the originals weren't in the books at all lol there was only a klaus but he was just some random old guy villain

last year i kept waking up screaming from nightmares and my sister said i was in my bella era 😭😭😭 when i watched twilight as a kid and i wanted to be bella i didn’t mean i wanted the socially awkward and waking up screaming part but that’s all i got 💀
New Moon is definitely the best looking film in the franchise. Director Chris Weisz had a great cinematographer for this film and to this day, visually it still stands out from the rest. The warm colors like the browns and orange, even some red (Italy scenes) just added such a vibrant look to the film with the wolves and Jacob's story. When it comes to Twilight as a whole, it was easy to get swept up into the chaotic madness this franchise did at the time. I read the books and watched all the films, but I definitely had my issues with the story and characters, especially Bella!
Team Charlie all the way! Zaddy can get it. He's protective, funny, logical and loves his child to bits. Husband material right there. Carlisle too. Need a prequel with Carlisle and Rosalie's backstories that were hinted at in the books.
