Brown recluse

I was just walking around my home barefoot and I saw this gal in the dark scurrying through a doorway. I knew right away what kind of spider it was. When I grew up in California near Long Beach it was common to see black widows, which in my experience were docile and kept to the outdoors. Here in Tennessee the most common spiders I come across are wolf spiders and the brown recluse. I see dismembered wolf spiders all the time (cats) in my home. Occasionally I’ll get a brown recluse. They’re quite aggressive and fast. Don’t like them one bit. Not welcome in my house. They come in from the warehouse. Not much I can do about that except keep up with vacuuming I suppose.
