Bob, I am having a most wonderful day here in Ukraine in spite of the blanket of white covering my entire garden and an ambient air temperature that has finally climbed to minus 6C. My happiness comes from increasing good health and great music in the background thanks to you. This morning after breakfast I lined up a whole series of your 1910s thru 1930s sets and they have been rolling back to back for well over three hours as I get caught up on writing assignments. Right now we’ve reached “Roaring 1920s Jazz Age Music Was Meant For Me” and this and other sets will keep rolling as I start to make a pot of turkey meatball soup to warm up a bit. With Xmas just around the corner, we send our very best wishes for a happy and prosperous 2019. On a slightly different note, I know your political inclinations (they are forgiven) and suggest you take a second look at a home state boy who I believe has just begun a very successful career in spite of losing a Senate race. I’m betting on Beto to be somewhere near the top when the 2020 election cycle ends. Not sure the top dog but I’m betting on Beto for Veep.
James, so good to hear from you and glad you are doing well. Don't forget to tune in to the kpax41 channel for 30s and 40s music, I just posted some new material. I hope that you and your wife have a wonderful Christmas! The turkey soup sounds really good, love a good soup. As for the political suggestion, my vote would go to the person that could put the interest of this nation ahead of their own personal agenda. I am really tired of all the fighting between the two parties. We saw it with Bush and Obama, now Trump. These public servants need to put the nation and what is best for it first. They seem to waste so much time and effort over personal agendas and have lost focus on who they represent. I have almost become apathetic to the whole political environment. I use my music as a escape from reality but even that has some issues of a different sort. Great to hear from you again and look forward to your comments James!
music and times like these are gone...I wish people still lived by the standards, values and chivalry of old. It seems people now a days have forgotten the meaning of respect your fellow man and woman.

Surprised you just found this Larry as it is one of the channels top 25 videos. I think more of these are showing up now due the ads being removed. If I am able to get continued support via donations it will allow me continue the work. I had three nice donations this month to help offset the time and cost involved with the posts. Thank you again for all your support Larry!
great selections...all! so, what's weary, except the dancers, after dancing to miller's version...whoa! love berlin's "sunshine", and this version is my favorite...scrappy's vocal is so good...as always. it's too hot to shake a leg, so i will sit back and close my eyes and wander away with the music. thanks for sharing more wonderful music.
Thank you so much! This was was new to me. There are Grey Gull sides by Ted Wallace / California Ramblers in 1929 and 1930, and of the ones I've heard this is one of the best.
The book was talking about how he always used to listen to this kind of music. So I decided to listen to the music while reading the rest of that chapter. Lol.
Just stumbled across your uploads. Although we approach these songs from different directions, it's clear that we are both enamored of the music of Tin Pan Alley. Thoroughly enjoyable.
It's a lot better than the rubbish they put on nowadays. That was my my Gran and grandad were children playing in the the parks and streets without getting into trouble or needing help with the police, such good music.👏👏👏
I don't have the Bayer program. I may have a few Hirsh recordings. I have a number of Frank Munn vocals already posted. If you type that in the video search bar on my page, they should come up. Can't do anything about the like button if it isn't working. It must be a YT issue.
Nope, syncopeter - that 2nd track ("Maybe - Who Knows") is by the California Ramblers (aka "Ted Wallace and his Campus Boys"), with the Smith Ballew Trio (Smith is lead vocalist) !! I had never heard this track before, but recognized Pete Pumiglio's lead alto sax there; the Ballew Trio is all over Ted Wallace / Ramblers sides of that period. Pax, what is the label issue of this one? It's great! BTW I just subscribed to your postings today, and am I ever enjoying them. Bravo!
Song 2 almost certainly is a part of Paul Whiteman's band with Lang and Venuti and his 'Sweet chorus'. So quite probably a Tram lead band? Whiteman allowed his band member to earn a few extra dollars moonlighting for other labels. Remember these was the period just after the Wall Street Crash, when a single dollar would pay a week' s rent. $10 would keep a family happy for at least 14 days.
It’s just representation of a brilliant and epic pieces of music. The dialogue here is as if we were talking about the correct interpretation of “Scripture”. We have here is a flamboyant performance, well executed, well thought out emotionally sensitive

God I love this classic music when I need to work or concentrate. I think I was born 90 years too late when it comes to music. ;-)
Ron, I like that last song too. As always, glad you enjoyed them.
It's a lot better than the rubbish they put on nowadays. That was my my Gran and grandad were children playing in the the parks and streets without getting into trouble or needing help with the police, such good music.👏👏👏

Arthur Freed flashed His Trouser Trout at Shirley Temple, but She would not take the Bait!
How so?
The 20s are coming back
Hopefully the music returns too!
The Hudson Bay Company.
Kinda sounds like I'll see you in my dreams
The first one does
Brain needed again: Thanks.
Reading a biography of Walt Disney brought me here.
agreed
Like Macy's in the US, or Harrods in Britain. But more like Macy's.

Glad you are enjoying the selections Philippe and thank you so much for watching the channel and leaving comments.
