Man, I'm playing this game since it's out, but never ever in my life been so amazed by the work of this. Please guide us trough all the acts, like this
There's a surprising amount of dialogue in D2, most of which is never heard during a normal playthrough. Great video! I even saw some new things, like the painting of a Tainted above the Den of Evil. Even after playing for 20 years, I never noticed!
I love the way you tell the story - like a story teller! watched your d1 belzebub series and really like your chanel since, also loving the baldurs gate series. keep it up hope you will get the love you deserve!

OH GOD now i remember why this game could scare me the first time....The music...the atmosphere the darkness....and the bloody hell bosses.....TRUELY NOW I MUST PLAY THIS ONCE MORE
"Oh boy... there comes that Paladin again... with his petty questions... sigh... He comes questioning about every rock he steps in" Great video man. Congratulations on your work.
Since u catched me with telling the lore of this universe, i randomly stumbled upon this jewel. Very well done! Although i am one of those who spent countless hours, playing this masterpiece, your storytelling und covering of all the conversations (I bet very few have ever done by themselves) gives a whole new perspective and depth to this game. After watching you replaying the first act, i admit to feel the urge to do it myself but i´d also like to lean back and continue watching this journey
I have been playing d2 forever but, Playing the game whilst listening to this telling of the story takes this game to another level! My paladins helmet off to you good sir!
Just discovered your channel and I'm really glad that someone is dedicating so much love and time for this awesome game. I find myself gravitating back to Diablo 2 every once in a while. Despite not playing it for years the dark and deep lore somehow still fascinates me.
Dude I’ve been playing d2 for thousands of hours like most in our generation and never knew there was incomplete quest texts. Thanks for this expertly crafted retelling of the story, I subbed and am going to catch up on all the d2 lore so I can enjoy the remake. Appreciate you sincerely

It's years when I first saw that opening cinematic and still it raises emotions in me every time I watch it. It is IMHO one of the greatest opening cinematics that has been done in video games. It's graphics are dated but so what.
I loved the opening cinematic. seeing it get a visual update was impressive, but even more impressive is when you realize that this is almost twenty years old! This is big studio quality for the day! and Blizzard was just getting off the ground!
The countess that bathed in virgin blood was real, it was Elizabeth bathory, she was from Hungary and tricked farm/village girls into free "how to be a lady" type classes and a free room and a job. She would abuse and torture the girls and the virgins were drained of some of their blood (sometimes all of it) so she could bath in it and drink some of it so she would be forever youthful. She got caught by picking the daughter of a noble(she was running out of girls and got desperate) and the noble were not having any of that(villagers are fine but nobles cross the line), so she was put on house arrest/jailed in either one room or a small section of her castle. She only lived for a year or two after that I believe, Guinness book of world records has her as the most prolific female serial killer of all time. ALRIGHT CLASS YOU ARE NOW DISMISSED lol
I always found picking the Paladin funny when I was a kid. He makes this face when he approaches the fire like "ohmygodyoupickedme!" PALLY POSE! Still to this day, the face he makes still makes me giggle. However, I'd always pick the trusty Bowazon. Still hoping that rumor is true that she's one of the two characters that will be added later in Diablo 4.
wow I really enjoyed watching this! I've played diablo 2 since I was a kid but there was so many new things I just found out about the game that I didn't know before. Thanks for making it!
Just found you today. I love Diablo but only ever played the 3rd cuz the second gave me nightmares I was only 6 when it came out in 2000 lol. However I finally gave Diablo a try 7 years ago and I don’t have a pc so the resurrected version and your incredible narrative are the best. I truly wish I played Diablo 2 back in the day cuz looking at it the last few years I always wanted to play it so badly. Thank you for these videos. Gonna be watching them all day today Sunday funday for me. You earned a subscriber
This vid is like watching one good movie with Dash's Commentary !!! This vid will be a classic !!! (At least, for me, I am keep saying the same thing...LoL) Thank you for the such nice walking-through series !!!
Thanks for a great series..! This was some time ago, but if i remember correctly there is a trailer for d3 (sc: brood war cd perhaps) where the wanderer actually drops diablos soulstone)
My pleasure mate, cheers! You're very correct, it was such a badass horror continuation of Diaboo 1s theme. Kinda sad we never saw the Warriors descent further realized. Trailer here: ua-cam.com/video/qQ9Gfyzqry0/v-deo.html
These days, I am enjoying good night sleep listening this. Funny I can enjoy good night sleep while listening a story full of despair happening in the world more hell than hell (Sanctuary).
Great video! A few things I noticed: Old Farnham is an NPC in D3, in the cursed cellar event near old Tristram. This suggests that maybe the corpse of Farnham was resurrected later. Also Warrivs corpse is found in D3 on the old Tristram road. On the countess quest, you used the tools of the trade icon instead of the tower (I see later you reversed the icons for these quests), and you said the countess was burned alive when the quest said she was buried alive. Also the NPC in the inner cloister is Bone Ash not blood ash
Funniest thing is the little person bartender at 5:33 trying to run away, but still carrying the drinks above his head. Now that's dedication to your craft!
I've played d2 for 15 years and never understood who the wanderer truly was. After just watching your d1 series I now know him to be the prince, fallen to the same fate as his brother. How sad 😥
I never actually read the scroll for the stones. I just open the scroll to activate the stones, then spam them randomly with my mouse till i get them all. You cant do it wrong, and they just activate as you press them in the right sequence.
3:59 I always kind of wondered why he turned to Marius in particular like he was there to meet him but was interrupted by Diablo's struggle for control
You really reminds me of "The story teller" from Fallout 3 lore teller. I don´t know who is inspired by who, but you really make it the same way nearly. But still great work!. you earned a new sub!.
Thank you so much for taking your time with the lore. One piece of feed back would be to also do some justice to the epic soundtrack. And if you run out of classic stuff, do the lore of D3. Its not as good but with adventure mode on the table nobody stops to take in the lore and the feel. I really did love the story mode for about the first three acts of d3. Liked and subscribed!
Yeah the lore is about the only thing I like about D3, other than some really nice looking areas in the game. People always complain about it not being dark enough, but there's a hidden area beneath the jails/ torture chambers where all the blood and bodies collected at the bottom. One of the most brutal things I've seen in a Diablo gane.
Although I'm not terribly big in some of your minor jokes, like the slapping her like she owed him gold one. I can not in any way deny the level of detail and work you put into these videos. Can you do a short video on Akara? She never gets any love compared to Cain but she was my favorite NPC. Her voice actress(Eve Brent) passed away before D3 dropped and I think that's why we never got to see her again. I'm assuming they have recast her now for Res, but I haven't heard much. Eve was actually in a few different things I'm sure post people have seen. Small roles, but she was in The Green Mile, Twin Peaks and one of her last roles was actually in season 1 of Community. I totally agree about Gheed's "scepter" Dash! For real scepters I much prefer Akara's stock! LOL :) Of course, I do prefer Hratli's large hammers that are the first very fast attack paladin weapon in game. But, we don't meet him until Act Three. Adventure on friends! Thank you Dash!
