Love the style you have with these walk throughs. Really role playing it out as the paladin is cool too. You have a ton of potential. If you write your own scripts, then additional good job.
Lol that always bothered me. Like how did tyreal think Marius was going to get through the infernal gate and then get to the hell forge not to mention aquire the hell forge hammer to smash the soul stone? I couldn't believe Marius even made it as far as the bottom of travincal tower? How did he get passed the compelling orb? None of it make sense.
Hahaha, I always thought about that too. Like, Marius was Diablo's traveling companion/some random old man. What exactly was Tyrael expecting? The fact that he even got to Mephisto's room was a miracle.
Can I just say, I still find it good (and amusing) that the character being played is anyone but the assassin, as it'd be odd speaking to ones canonical self.
Very nice work man. These videos have reminded me just how incredible the voice acting was in D2. Personal favorites are Lysander and Hratli, but really, just about all the voice acting is top notch.
Been following along for a couple weeks now. You actually got me reading the books; just finished Sin War book one and am waiting for the audiobook for book 2 while I plough though Legacy of Blood. Anyway...the writing you're doing (the knowledge you're bringing of the wider lore of this game); the recording and video & sound editing (which is seriously time consuming -- I run a tiny podcast and I do not have your work ethic); the acting as narrator and as your character; even the attention to detail in in-game artwork (which I totally missed during multiple play-throughs). All of this is seriously well done, I've never seen anything like it, but I'm glad it does, and I'm glad there are people like me who enjoy it as much as I do. I've said it before: "Dude, you have a wide variety of different talents and you harmonize them very well. I hope more people see this because it’s damn good."
I'm kinda confused. Why do any of these people think that the brothers hadn't been reunited already, by the time you arrived? Nobody saw Marius anywhere, and he witnessed them gathered. So, logically, he left before you got there.
Oh, boy, oh, boy, oh, boy, there is Act/part 4... Appreciate the work and time you put on... I can somewhat imagine how much time it took to make this. Thank you=)
Fun fact, in Wrath of the Lich King, the NPC in Icecrown Citadel who rewards you with rings upon reaching new reputation levels with the Ashen Verdict is named "Ormus the Penitent" lol.

There were More quests in this act? The acts there seem plenty long and tough as it is. This is my favorite act indeed, lots of lore and tons of monsters. The whole place is amazingly mazey, bloody.
These Diablo lore videos are so perfect for having on second monitor while I nuke my way through a bunch of dungeons and occasionally get instakilled by a random boar/corpse bow!
Miss the equipment updates a little from the first few acts, this however is my only complaint these have been a fantastic ride my friend and useful to a wife who has never played and wants now to know what the story is.
I was always a bit confused about the timelines and what and why happend in Kurast. By the time of Diablo II events, Mephisto already freed himslef and is just having fun with corrupting Kurast and when Diablo visit, it was just "hey, bro, lets open portal to hell."? I am confused, because from primal evil I would expect much more chaos and mayhem and evil stuff in general. So is he intentionally staying low and waiting for his brothers or is he still somehow bounded to the black temple and need Diablo to break the rest of protective magic?
But lightning is great. Not only does charged bolt stun lock or FHR lock both monsters and other players but it also has the potential to do a fkn disgusting amount of damage at high levels. While fire has a more well rounded damage profile and they both have the same *average* instead of doing say 18k to 22k damage lightning does literally 1 (one) to 44k damage.
So ultimately the way to truly defeat Mephisto is to give his deformed wraith form a hug and go "I wuv you." Honestly thought bashing his head in was the route to go but hey the more you know!
Man I got to say role playing as a paladin against evil is by far brings out more emotions out of all other classes in any media. No other class in this game, Dnd, wow, ff as bring out more HATE as the paladin. Love your videos my man. 👍

This was the closest thing for me to getting a Diablo movie or audio book, sad that we won't get a treatment for D3 and D4 and their expansions...I do hope you can reconsider your decision (that we respect) and gift us with what nobody has delivered so passionately. I myself, am not a fan of the storyline of D3 and so forth...but it's still the best devil lore out there, no :) ?

I've come to see the Paladin's abilities as being based on the Armor of God concept from St Paul in the Bible where each part of the armor, shield and weapon has a purpose. The energy auras representing the purported meditative abilities of certain monks from historical times. Some elements of H.P Lovecraft as well ( K'lyeh). The corruption of the Zakarum Church can be parallel to the accusations of heresy and devil worship levelled against the Knights Templar order just after the Crusades. I remember investing time building my Zealadin ( Zeal + Holy Freeze main attack) back in the day. 😊
My favorite part of the game starts here, mephisto could be amazing if his soul found its way, it always finds a way. Could be interesting if that's what happened to imperius. Imagine an angel playing host to a prime evil? Because valor became vengeance, vengeance becomes hatred. Could be anything, even a triune priest disguised as a mercenary looking for others to enter his daughters prison.

Nope, it was Aidan, the fallen hero which was possesed and infected by Diablo after he was stabbed in his forehead using Diablo's soulstone. He was still a human. True form of Diablo under aidan never speaks in Cinematics.

In Act I to II cinematic He's still Aidan but in his mind is under Diablo's influence. In act III Cinematic His face disfigured and almost transformed like his face has spikes. In Act Four, his human body shatters and become Diablo. Only Aidan (before transforming Diablo) speaks.

Diablo could replicate several and if not numerous Biblical References from the Old and New Testaments with combination from different sources of major world religions and modernized sciences intertwined together with strong consideration to past, current and future events based on modern occurences and other evidential forklore that are substantial in nature too :)
Biblical references such as the Birth Of Jesus Christ of Nazereth, Son of God and many other substantive explanations that can be included for future diablo games :) Since Lilith is also evidentially included in the Diablo 4 game and also its happenings in past biblical events and occurences too :) So why not Blizzard could do more than whats current.

Scorch the Lightning Mage. Reminds me of my sorceress named Ning Lightning who ended up being a cold user because lightning was horrible in early d2
