Reiko was trying to hear the 10 000 AB fans amid the 60 000 irish fans.
So what if other fans sing their own songs during the haka? The entitlement from the kiwi fans with the haka is ridiculous. You're lucky you're even ALLOWED to do the haka in the first place.
Reiko was just saying..we heard you for the Haka but what about now? where are your voices now? :-)
one thing we learned from this quarter finals is that the Irish are sore losers
One thing we've learned from the last 7 years, is that New Zealand and their fans are the *WORST* losers; more like!
We didnt need to lose the quarter to know that AB fans are insufferable bores though.
Certain Irish pundits maybe. There was certainly a heightened expectation that ireland could win so the dissappointment is understandably greater.
I thought it was brilliant and perfect timing 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Watching and listening to the crap coming from the Irish so called pundits I really thought we had won the 1:28 1:28 World Cup a month ago. The headline in the Irish Independent last Sat that the AB were rattled summed it up.
This type of talk just makes us sound like sore losers. We need to move on, we didn't perform to the level we needed to to beat the All Blacks, and they did, they were the better team on the day and Sexton having a big mouth needs to take his licks instead of complaining, it's not a good look and just makes you even more of an easy target for opposing fans
Makes Ireland look like the village idots of world rugby
It’s give and take. I love it, hugged it out with the guy next to me. And it doesn’t mean the kiwi players and fans dislike us (at least i like to think so)
Total lack of self awareness from Quinny. Peter OMahoney and Sexton brought this on. If we can dish it out we need to take it
If you’re taking advice on how to be respectful from a guy who was caught eye gouging…there is something wrong. Eye gouging is bottom of the barrel stuff
I said this during the live, Rieko went at the crowd because they disrespected the Haka. Fair play to them as well, they wanted to sing over it, they did. But when you lose, you get the All Blacks shushing you. Don't sit here and act like there was no reason for it mate.
The Haka is a challenge. Other teams and whoever has a right to challenge it back. It’s not some virtuous thing that “shall not be confronted” or something
@thomasmandeno2776 thats not the point, if you want to sing over the haka, sing over the haka. But when you lose, expect the All Blacks to shush you. 🤷♂️ its not rocket science
I was simply referring to the fact that is not a sin to challenge the haka in your own way. We Kiwis take the haka too seriously. I don’t really have a problem with the ABs reaction to it.
The Haka is a performance. Relax man.
@thomasmandeno2776 did i say it was a sin? No, i said if you're going to sing over it, expect to be shushed. I think its pretty clear what i was saying 🤷♂️

Drown out the Haka? What a pathetic self serving attitude. What are Ireland fans meant to do, sit in silence and fawn over the ABs while they puff their chests our and make throat slitting gestures to our side? Singing our own songs is very much an expression of our own cultural identity as much as the haka is yours, tough luck if you dont like that. Haka has become pretty naff anyway. Nothing worse than seeing a team laden with white collonial settlers perform a dance from a culture that isn't theirs. Cringe from start to finish.
Im a kiwi and the drowning out of the haka was fantastic. It was the irish challenge right back at ours and it just added to the occasion.
Regarding the gesture to the crowd, its amazing that this is still being talked about especially when the Irish crowd is self proclaimed as the most respectful in the world yet have you ever heard louder booing than j. barretts last penalty? Rieko has always been an in your face player, you can see it with his reaction when he's scored the odd try. I think it comes from frustration that he is no where near as good as he thinks he is. Worst All Black since Tuiava! Lol from NZ
Sexton is the most overrated players in the world.
Reiko kept receipts from all the smack talking Sexton and his mates did when they beat us before (like when they told Sam Cane he was a cheap Richie McCaw).
Who's bitter?
guys guys guys... pot calling the kettle black!! Remember O.mahoney and other Irish comments after the test series in NZ? Remember "4 more yrs" from Gregan.? folklore now...stop whingeing. All part of the game these days... let it stay on the field. Did you hear Sam Cane bitching about the sledge from your guy? It was motivation... move on. You guys are now pointing fingers at your own fine players . It was an immense game...could have gone either way. show some class of your own.
Ireland probably needed to lose a match in order to recalibrate and improve. Pity it was thst match though.
Get over it, Johnny's backchat to the ref is a lot worse.
Quinlan - you got this all wrong...
Just let it go guys...
Ioane is a dog and doesn't have the slightest comprehension of what it means to be magnanimous in victory, very based person. Great sportsmen and sports teams know how to handle victory over a worthy opponent. I thought Foster let himself down big time.
Like the great Sexton who gave a foul mouthed rant to a ref because his team lost. Irish are wankers who like to cry when things don't go their way. Was cool what O Mahony said to Cane? You guys thought that was cool right.
Ioane is a legend here in NZ and the Southernhemisphere. He was reminding the Irish Fans to respect the HAKA and be silent🤫🤫🤫.Something the Irish dont really understand about other nations culture and tradition.Keep working on it for another 4years you might reach another quaterfinal🤪🤪🤪
Sexton got banned for what?
@@itistrue101 Verbal spat with a referee and was not a player on the day.
@@HenryKing679 Being a legend doesn't necessarily mean you have character or are capable of showing a noble and courageous spirit. He may be your idol but that doesn't take away from my point about his character.
This is absolute hogwash, look at the video. they shake hands then as Reiko is moving on after hes shaken sexton and mccarthys hand, Jonny FIRST says something which makes Reiko stop and look back suddenly and say something in response then jonny turns around and says more and then reiko shrugs his hands as if to say "what are you doing" and shakes jack Conan's hand. then jonny keeps coming at him and has to be held back. you need to watch that video clip you will see a very different set of events than the narrative you're trying to push. the part where he cups his ear happens at a different time. secondly the Irish media, fans and players (famously) are some of the worst with the sledging and comments and off the ball trash talk but you cant take it when its given back to you.
😂😂😂 Orrrrr
To bad quinny 4 more years sore losers
More caps than yourself.
@@johnmc3862 you are a no cap sore loser and also All Blacks are in the 2023 R.W.C final sore loser
@@johnmc3862 but same amount of world cups 😂😂
Its ok Quinny, its called Karma dude take it like a man, crybaby
Is nothing else happening in ireland sports hence why they keep on talking bout this!! Bloody hell. Love the Irish rugby team, but this eye gouging guy talking bout a non-physical incident shows how salty he is.. 😢
Hey guys, sexton wouldn't be in this AB team if he were a kiwi. He would have headed over to europe after a couple years as a journey man because he simply doesn't have the talent as an allround 10. It's just the facts. Many of the irish players would be in the squad or competing for it especially in the forwards, but not jonny. It is what it is but sorry Alan you're not correct there
Geer the Irish cant let this one go,its like Rieko has gotten into their head even after a week😂😂😂.Must have been tough on the Irish to be beaten by one of the weakest ABs side to a World Cup😛😛😛.Well can only blame Sexton for that quaterfinal loss against a 14man ABs😛.
Even with their NZ imports who made a game of it.
@Liam-ls4vt At least they were raised in NZ and went to NZ schools
Once again, move on. What he done has actually worked by the looks of it have all you lads riled up lol todays news is tomorrows fish n chip paper. My advice would be don’t let this define what you have achieved over the last two years
Ahhhhh Shaaaardup ya Sook 🙄
ha ha, this is just pure sour grapes for losing. And Alan coneniently forgot the disrespect of the crowd to NZ and the All Blacks by sining al lthrough the Haka. Fair play sing all you like, but dont cry like a baby after you lose and Rieko throws it back in your face on behalf of all NZ'ers.
Winners are grinners
🤣🤣🤣🎻🎻🎻
