Oh yeah
I missed most of beast wars the first time around, so I absolutely love getting figures for a lot of these less well known characters. I love seeing characters I never knew existed before and still getting so excited to learn about them.
Also, the scene of him chasing poor Rattrap got a good laugh from me.
It's the kind of design that just reminds me of how whacky and fun Transformers can get. Sure I love a good car mode, but this is just weird and silly fun. Makes me want a new Magnaboss

I don't know if it's the best commander class for me ... (That'll be a fun top 10 some day) Definitely one of the most interesting and intricate designs for the price point. I like it a lot and it is a damn good figure.

@@TTMMH42well Jetfire is just a big voyager class pretty much, very solid all round and definitely the standard for commander class figures. I'd recommend getting the shattered glass version just because i think it's the better deco and you'll probably have an easier time finding it. I don't have Ultra Magnus though but from what I've heard it's a very good release. really praying you can find them both

In spite of all the Transformers training you have given me over the years, this was a brand new character/figure to me. As I mentioned above I'm wary about Commander Class for a few reasons... but with this you made history come alive and have shown me a world I never saw before.
Didn't someone awesome give you replacement parts for that commander class Motormaster?
Magmatron was one thw few Japanese characters brought to America never made an appearance in the show but was in the American Beast Wars comics as he was sent ib the past yo capture bw Megatron , He even brought back Ravage and fought Grimlock in the comic as well glad to finally have him in my collection .
I enjoyed Beast Wars The Gathering I thought it was a great way to use all the non show characters
I remember seeing Magmatron in Target as a kid (around the year 2000 I think) thinking it was a generic 3-Dinosaur Pack. Can you blame me for thinking it was?
So glad the Emperor of Destruction got a new figure. But man, the Giganotosaurus lacking jaw articulation makes him look kinda weak.
I’m probably the only person who loved posing the Magmasaurus. It’s so out there, and I love weird stuff like that.
Robot mode is so imposing and badass.
Is it figure of the year? It’s definitely a contender.

@@TTMMH42 I’m looking forward to the Straxus figure. He’s the one Decepticon I wanted to see in either a movie or show. But given the character’s background, he’s probably too graphic for the general audience to take in.
My memory of Neo is getting fuzzy, but I think that the Magmasaurus mode might have been his favored mode over the three beasts. In another life, I could see this toy or even the original done up in G1 Sky Lynx colors to fill out a line, using that chimera mode as the main one.
That would be a heck of a repaint
I appreciate that you included a shot of Magmatron and Megatron fighting in Beast Mode. The T-rex and Giga scale so nicely, you KNOW it was intentional for us to pit them against each other.

I know it's not the main focus of the video but GOD that Motormaster drive-in transformation was smooth.
And, minor nitpick, Landsaurus's species is gig-a-not-oh-saurus
I did that animation for my legacy top 10 back in October/November still proud of it.
FYI, the sword hilt can also function as a blaster, and that was something the original toy could do.

I like Kingdom Rodimus. I can't imagine they could have pulled off that level of accuracy at a Leader Class
