Hey, Welcome to the OFD Watch Channel. My name is Aron Dunlap, and I’m nuts about watches. What’s OFD you ask? Well, one of my best friends coined this term. It stands for “Only F@#*ing Dunlap” (sorry kids!!) due to some of the ridiculous things I can come up with, including watch collecting.
I have loved watches for years, but in the last few years really got into the collecting and studying aspect. I mainly buy Seiko and Orient watches, but I love everything out there!! (Omega, Oris, Rolex, Squale, Timex, Casio, Steinhart….and on and on and on)

I have three Deep Blue watches. Two of them are about five years old and the other is a year and a half. I have had no issues so far. They look nice and are accurate.
Lucky you. For me, just the opposite after month one. Never again.
Really nice, good spec’s. A bit too thick for my taste. I have the Islander with the great wave of kanagawa dial- an awesome beautiful work of art.
Super cool dial and lume, incredible glow! Any pics with an aftermarket ss bracelet? I'm really weighting if I need their bracelet (and solid end-links) or I can go with rubber and then add one of mine. Thanks!
I traded off a sea ram a couple years ago and I miss it a lot, I seriously believe I could have parked my jeep on it, a very tuff watch

I'm not sure if they'll offer this one again. I know I saw a Kanagawa dial @islandwatch. SKX style but similar if not identical dial. I really hope this helps you in your search 🤙😁🙏

My only problem with deep blue is the customer. I wanted that very watch myself almost pulled the trigger but I have three master 1000s in need of repairs I don’t need a fourth. I called the customer service they told me to email them I emailed them and nothing happens I called them they told me to email around and round and round they go they sit in my drawer I’m going to use them for parts for something else I’m gonna take the NH 35 and put it in another watch I’m going to take the one case that is good and move the dial And movement from the one with the stripped out crown So maybe I can have one good watch out of the parts. Sad part I wasn’t even looking for warranty repair I said I would pay to have them fixed or I could buy the parts I would fix it myself the only part that I can’t get is theThreaded Crown and Crown tube up until the point of that one struct it was my favorite watch. Good luck I have some of the higher and watches I have a couple juggernauts a couple of the tritium A deep star and those watches are just fine it just seems to be issues with the master 1000 line maybe the new master 1000 line is better

@@OFD I actually really enjoy their watches I have for juggernaut all fine I have five tritium fine my DeepStar fine I’m sure I’m leaving one out but as you can see I was a fan boy for quite some time. I have a local watchmaker that could fix it but he couldn’t match up the crown Deep blue gave me the runaround. I am going to try one of my local watchmakers that I haven’t tried yet the older more curmudgeon of the bunch he may have the wherewithal to fix that I don’t care if it’s got a branded crown just as long as I can get one at watertight. The bezel one I fix that issue I just glued it down and made it a fixed bezel. Dial I’m just going to order a new dial from somewhere else and make it into something else I think I’m going to maybe even try to get a Wave dial And call it a day

Yes, but it does fade.
