Nice video! 2:18 is that a song or did you come up with that riff? It's really neat, thinking about buying this pedal. What do you think about this pedal?
What I remembered having this in the past was it was a good little pedal. LOTS of versatility with the EQ. Paired up with a Marshall Ed-1 Compressor pedal was the way to get best results (predictably). People who have a downer on this pedal are just snobs.
@@doneythomas It's better for distortion than it is for overdrive but I can't remember for sure as I was always at the distortion end of things (being in to metal at the time). I think the pedal is discontinued so every pedal out there is likely to be pre-owned and will differ from each other depending on how used it was. Should be a decent pedal whatever you're wanting from it though. 👍
I don't usually comment gear videos, but I'll make an exception this time, only to commend you for playing Don't believe a word by Thin Lizzy (which blew me away all by itself) and not content with that, you played that riff by Sabbath, Children of the Sea was it? And then Revelation by Maiden... I love you, fellow musician player, please never die :)
Dost this pedal worth buying for the tiny terror, or do you recommend to stick with to the terror's crunch? I found its tone a little bit dark, and thinking of buying this pedal... Pls give me some advice.... Does this make the sound JCM800-ish? does it give any brightness? TY
I don't know about that? Anyway, there's tons of scope to change the sound with the onboard EQ, from trebly fizz to muddy to low end boom. The "deep" control makes your amp sound like a Marshall cabinet. Quite a revolutionary pedal that boutique snobs like to look down their noses at.
You cant beat the sound of an all valve amp, awesome.
the sabbath riff kicked ass
Can you get a Plexi sound tone if so what would be the settings

That's Black Sabbath in the Dio years, the song is Children of the Sea
My favorite 50$ pedal.with my origin20 head...I can nail any Marshall tone.

worst sounding Marshall sounding pedal I've ever heard, and it's made by MARSHALL!!!
no, it ain't, bro
had it for a couple of years and barely touched it
I agree. Are used to have this pedal and it is total shit. It is all mush and makes it sound like somebody put a pillow in front of your amp speakers.
@@davidbakerscuba Your pedal's treble control must have been broken then?
2nd hand was it?
Sorry, but I think you don't understand the purpose of this pedal...
Sorry but that sounds horrible.
I don't know about that?
