Brings back funny memories, when me and the wife visiting holly island in Northumberland, watching out for tide times before crossing , road was half submerged on wone side due to very strong winds not to bad our side , but two blokes in Morgan car with hood down, thank god the goggles done there job , hilarious best laugh in long time, me got back to Scotland a week later , rust clinging to under new car and more sand than a child's sand pitt after steam clean falling down. 😉🤣🤣👍🏴Happy days.
There is no way I could even contemplate driving across this with the road covered in water!! I’d poop my pants!!! Some people need to leave home earlier!!!
So did the car that is stopped (1:41 on the video) ever get to the other side. Since the road is flooded everyone seems to be sticking to the middle. And that guy who stopped seems to be waiting for the road to clear but cars keep coming his way. He then has to move in order to let the truck pass. He goes on but again stops because of on coming cars.
I was there yesterday. I actually got an ice cream from that exact van. Haha
Hope you didnt find seaweed in it
Never underestimate the stupidity of people
The seawater should do wonders for the undercarriages of the cars
He must really need to sell his ice creams
Probably all melt if he had to wait for the tide to go out
A very good method for ensuring that the bottom rusts away!
(they dont live where there is salt.... assuming.)
It's the sea, so salty. I once risked it where there was standing water over it and had terrible corrosion problems ever after!
As if you'd risk taking your chances against the north sea is a bloody micra!
This is footage of the tide going OUT
Keeps the ice cream van clean underneath.
GC8 WRX spotted outside its natural habitat
Don't fancy the chances of these cars at the next MOT.
Nothing stops the ice cream truck.
crossing times are updated everyday. its like King Kanute in a Beemer or 4wd.
its a rapid conversing tide. we like the solitude
And every year dozens of cars don't make it and idiots have to be rescued. I'd put up barriers.
A lot of Island revenue would be lost for the tow and rescue company's.
@@zerofox7347 unfortunately it is the helicopter that is usually called in. We taxpayers foot the bill.
I think the average is 1-2 a month.
Driving across a flooding causeway. Natural selection at it's best?
Was the ice cream van selling SALTED caramel ice creams?
Did the Superloo soak his electrics or somin?
The truck would make that at high tide :D but the cars err no.
hard to tell if the tide is coming in or going out... is the Impreza just waiting for it to clear
Chembleton , probably tide coming in , and he's standing next to beloved car ,watching others having a go , him , clock ticking I'm afraid. 😉👍🏴

Obviously these people don't read the danger signs or the tide times why take the risk they must be in a hurry .

Tide going out
I see there is still no cure for *stupid* .
let them get on with it .....fools........

Impreza drivers in shock , watching other drivers, he couldn't imagine driving that slow. 😳🤣🤣👍🏴
Darwinism at its finest.
Eileen and I did this min February
The car at 1:12
Was the tide going out during this period?
Long time ago now, but do believe it was coming in.
How many ice cream vans?
The company must be in the village.
ice cream man knows. Tide is going out.
The island has been inhabited for 1500 years but no one has built a bridge. It can't be that hard, come on.
It would be pretty expensive to build such a long bridge, and the volume of traffic probably isn't all that high.
Think they like the solitude
Why? There’s causeway! It’s the Darwin Award test…
I have saw that
How not to pan!
Bloody tourists.
What bloody poor camera work. Almost as bad as the drivers attempted crossings.
LOVE U To XX
@@spiderrock215, was the ice cream van selling SALTED caramel ice creams?
stopped watching after a min or so, far too much fannying about with the camera
