- Start, quit, start quit, try this, try that.
You know the cycle I’m talking about.
That one where nothing sticks and you start this and you start that.
No focus.
No discipline.
No momentum.
You feel unfulfilled
You have no purpose.
In this video, I’m going to tell you about Monk Mode.
I’ve done a lot of different routines, tried a lot of different habits, but this one stands above them all.

Wow great video, and such a clean editing 👌
I appreciate you, man! 🙏🏼 and congrats to you on passing 1,000 subs! Keep it going!
It was meant for me to come across this video! I’ve been wanting to do this! I didn’t know it was called “monk mode” I’m currently on Phase 1 of Live Hard and I just really want to dig into bettering myself. I love your channel! 🙏🏾♥️
I love to hear it! Congrats on finishing 75 Hard and moving into Phase 1. Keep going! 💪🏼
Loved this one. You keep leveling up and it’s awesome to see!
I appreciate that 🙏🏼
Liking it. This is my biggest block. Getting things down on paper. I always get stuck. Even though I know what I want. Being consistent with things (workout, school ,career progress etc….
Thanks for this. It’s something I think we know , but need to be reminded.
Yes sir, captain. Even the simplest things we know slip through the cracks and a reminder here or there is all it takes to get rolling again. If you have 10 minutes, pull out that paper, lay it out. Doesn't have to be detailed. It's momentum to just take a step.
Keep workin', my friend.
Great content !
I appreciate that Curt 🫡
Really like your delivery style and editing. Very natural. Beats the cookie cutter repetitions of this topic. 😊
Hey, I appreciate that! 👊🏼
Good stuff man 📈
I appreciate you man
This is an awesome video, subscribed. Mahalo!
I appreciate you, my friend!
Watch CGP Grey’s excellent video on yearly themes. 😍
Great advice , but not sure you need 8 pints water (1 gallon) per day, i think that much water will start to wash out electrolites etc?
Good question here. I don’t want to give a prescription to anyone, since this is my particular approach, but it can be overkill for some. A lot of it is based on activity level and how much you’re sweating. A good rule of thumb is generally aim to drink 50-75% if your bodyweight in ounces of water. No more than a gallon though. Something that also helps is adding electrolytes to your water to eliminate any issues.
Superb ⭐
Bro could u suggest some best books to read for tackling discouragement & inaction especially in the face of uncertainty when there are a lot of options ? Also for online business b2b as solopreneurs as design drawing engineers or in general to get the idea of acquiring clients faster as beginner..
I appreciate you, fam! For tackling and discouragement and inaction, read Relentless by Tim Grover. Prepare to get motivated af. That book is about how the greatest leaders of all time think. It makes you want to get stuff done now!
For acquiring clients faster as a beginner, I don't necessarily have a book recommendation for you other than leadership and networking style books, but I would lean more toward the route of looking at people who speak on the topic extensively -- Jose Rosado and Dan Koe are interesting people to check out when it comes to their approach to solopreneurship. Be careful of overconsuming tactics, but instead, implement those tactics and put them into practice as quickly as possible.
@@NickTShelton Thanks a Million 💚 for providing so many valuable insights & book suggestion brother 😊
@@mohibquadri4053 you got it, my friend. 💪🏼
Awesome video. May I ask what's your zodiac?
I appreciate that. I’m a Gemini.
@@NickTShelton : The most driven zodiacs of all. Thank you for the pointers in this video.
I have been researching about monk mode and I'm struggling to find a structure for me since I have a job, and I'm in highschool.
Good work on finding self improvement at that age. Try out different approaches for at least 30 days and give them some real time to see how they work in your life. See waht works for you. Try a principle out here and there. Don't overthink it and don't overconsume content trying to solve it. Get after it.
Can someone who work a 9-5 do “Monk mode”?
I wanna go Monk mode to focus on building a communication skill, health, finance, spiritual, family, relationship and goal.
Here’s my plan:
Communication Skills:
Practice active listening.
Read books on communication and public speaking.
Engage in conversations with diverse people regularly.
Health:
Set fitness goals and create an exercise routine.
Plan a balanced diet and stay hydrated.
Get enough sleep each night.
Consider practicing mindfulness or meditation for mental well-being.
Finance:
Create a budget and track your expenses.
Learn about investing and savings strategies.
Consider taking personal finance courses.
Spiritual:
Dedicate time to meditation, prayer, or reflection.
Explore spiritual or philosophical texts.
Attend relevant workshops or gatherings.
Family:
Spend quality time with family members.
Communicate openly and resolve conflicts positively.
Offer help and support to family members when needed.
Relationships:
Nurture existing relationships with friends and loved ones.
Work on your emotional intelligence and empathy.
Learn to communicate effectively and resolve conflicts.
Goals (Real Estate Development):
Break down the goal into smaller, achievable steps.
Research the real estate market and trends.
Network with professionals in the field.
Consider formal education or training in real estate.
Easily, my friend. Take monk mode as a period of Intense focus.
I like how you’ve laid this out. Now, it’s a matter of putting focus to each of these and consolidate these down to the priority items that will move the needle forward in your life.
