Reminds me of grade 9 art class where we used to stand out in the hallway with hairdryers drying our paintings between layers 😂 (art teacher was obsessed with watercolors so we were basically only allowed to use those haha)
Your lives seemed easierrrrr Us whenever we're at school and teach decided ro let us paint with watercolor we HAD to pin them OUTSIDE the classroom and wait for it to dry. Whenever we do that there's always gonna be a *90%* CHANCE of a painting getting blown away-
I love how rin is experimenting a lot more on her channel than before, such as the landscape drawing!! I think it’s so cool what she did! She is so flexible between different styles and is always willing to test out something new!,
If you put some of the paint in a mixing space, the graphite and colour will separate quite a bit, so you can pick more vibrant colours that way. Edit: something many people online don't mention; they shimmer because of the graphite!
It's always fun to watch you go outside of your comfort zone like this, and inspiring. I always seem to be afraid to just jump into new supplies like this.

The girl looks like she would be the main character in one of those small towns where something spooky happens. You know the one. Everything seems normal, but she starts to realize it’s not quite what it seems. Long story short, I like them both a lot lol

These colors remind me a whole lot of the artist Tamaytka, they tend to lean towards those desaturated tones! (Your art in this was super nice, it was fun to see your approach to such a different color palette!)
I honestly love the look of this palette. I've used that pencil before and really enjoyed it and now I'm super interested in the colors. I'd definitely want to combine them with some more saturated options, though, so I applaud your ability to make two nice pieces without grabbing any other palettes to use.
I actually love this color pallette. It feels like you have a story board going here with the landscape and the character. She looks like maybe she is about to start on an adventure to uncover the secrets of the swamp glitter

its always very interesting with these boxes, with just how different peoples tastes of aesthetic and colors can be xD when i saw this paint set for the first time yesterday in a video, i literally gasped at how beautiful i thought these colours were, and after watching a few people unbox and paint with them, i immediately had to buy them for myself - im so excited to get them, i think they look beautifully muted and i LOVE texture in watercolors! but yes, theyre quite a big departure from your usual style lmao so itd make sense that you wouldnt be too jazzed about them xD

This pallet screams dark academia ✨💫AESTHETICS💫✨ hahaha. It’s pretty colors though. And awesome drawings ! I also like the idea of just going with the new paints and think of it as swatches. ✨
These videos are so cool, I have no clue how to draw or color at all so it boggles my mind every time I see you post a video trying completely new materials and still making something good out of it. It’s also so fun to watch the process of what goes through your mind when you make your art.

If they aren’t hunted past a certain size, or if they get fed by humans, they start looking at people like food. It happens more than you would think. Alligator hunters are simply a fact of life down here.
It depends on how you got the art block... if its cause you're not liking your art, try drawing something you're good at and move from there. If its cause you don't know what to draw, then take a break.
I either take a break, do figure studies to help me practice, or scroll through pinterest with my friend for hours until I find inspiration definitely not projecting XP also hiiiii
Hi Hershey!!! I had art block for like 5 MONTHS straight and I basically drew stuff but I was REALLY scared to draw. in my sketchbook for SOME reason because everything was turning out poo poo. I just stopped drawing for 2 weeks and then it was fine!!!!! Also watch Waffles (old bu still amazing) video on art block!!!! That REALLY helped :D
I really like that landscape. I love the idea of adding a spaceship. Its moody but that doesn't mean its bad and it was cool to see you go outside your comfort zone. Its cool to see that your knowledge of art supplies and colors and such still carry over to something outside your comfort zone. Really drives home that learning the basics are key.

Even though you say you cant do spooky colors or landscape I'm still in awe at your first piece here, it looks so amazing to me, I love how it looks like it's about to rain and how the tree emphasizes wind by how you curved it and how the leaves look too, and even though you taped it last minute it still gave it a really cool look, almost 3d looking like the clouds and water is popping out of the page!

I love your nails, the darker colors are what I would normally reach for so I'm in love with the vibe of them! You also made such cool works even though the pallet isn't necessarily what you would have reached for, I think you did fantastic!
This was so much fun to watch, but I just realized that you never used the mixing space in the palette. You had the right idea with adding water than dabbing it! With watercolors, to get the lighter tones by putting a bunch of water on your mixing area and then dab in some paint. You can also just put the paint on the mixing area to see how much you have on your brush! I absolutely love watercolors so I was super excited because you were using them! Still, amazing work as always!
I’m so early! Hey Rin/Waffles, have you ever thought about making a rival gang? You could have an obtuse triangle-themed character (short and fat), a diamond-themed one as the leader, and an isosceles triangle-themed character (tall and sorta skinny). Basically, they’re all spiky haha
try and break them down into simpler shape. it might be tricky at first but the more you do them the easier it will get. think of squares and circles if you can for the base and then build from there

Whenever I use watercolours, I just drench my paper in water. I only regret that when I have to wait for it to dry, but gradients come easy to me.
