We should drop pre-season rankings altogether. So many teams undeservedly benefit from starting ranked high, others unfairly suffer from a super low preseason rank... Just have the first rankings come out AFTER the first games of the season are played. The rankings should be based off of what we see on the field.
Last year OHio State was the 2nd yougest in the FBS 131 teams. They were 11-2 Rose Bowl champs, anyway.They lose no one this year that isn't easily replaced. You saw CJ throw for 600yds with Olave and Wilson out.
Yes, Georgia will miss a ton of guys on defense, but they recruit a lot of 5 star defensive talent that will be ready to step in. Georgia has 2 amazing qbs going to battle it out this off-season in gunner and brock. I can't wait to see what this offense can do with a high caliber dual threat qb option.
