I hope you heal quickly. There is no pain like tooth pain. I had a partial amputation of a toe this winter and it hurt a thousand times less than the tooth access I had. Hugs and healing your way
To the guy who was attacked with his bird by a Germany type old man and his dog if you have any Graveyards near you they can be quite safe for quarry pets because dogs are generally not allowed in them. I used to take my rabbits to one near me and we felt very safe there.
I have to say your last few posts have been spectacular. Thank you for all the hard work and top shelf entertainment. You are hands down the best of your genre.
The #1 narrator of all times!!!! I love listening to you, your voice is soooo soothing..can't sleep without you now 🤣...I have listened to ALL your stories a dozen times. Thanks Joel!!
The only complaint I ever have about these stories is when the person writing the stories decides to use letters for names instead of just making up fake names. For goodness sake just say a random name. It starts to get really confusing trying to remember all the letters and who they are. I really feel like that should be set as a rule for posting stories
I had an emergency c cection category 2 listening to let’s read . I wonder if I was the first person ever to have a baby and major operation while listening to you .Thank you

I swear it gets me so upset when parents in these sorts of stories don't take these types of events seriously, and just brush their kids off. Then try to seem shocked when their neglect leads to their child being taken or something.
Seriously! If someone I cared about told me they felt in danger, even if I didn't believe it was a big deal, I'd be sympathetic and ask them to tell me exactly what happened, in case my first instinct was wrong. Feels like you'd definitely do this if it were your own child!
And they never seem to call the police. In the one story they could have at least called the police and described the car. That might have helped someone else.
On the bird story: sorry but MY pets come first for ME, if some strangers pet is attacking me and my babies I’m pulling out my mace and taking it down, leash your animal or fully expect any violence they cause to be reciprocated 🤷🏼♀️
I am so glad that I found your channel it has been 2 years now that I have been enjoying your content thanks for the stories you have posted they help me relax and finally fall asleep, well have a good night.

I appreciate you, the Creepy Fox, as the Raven Dreams and Being Scared for not swearing. It makes the stories much more scarier. Thank you for sharing your voice ❤️☺️
As someone with 5 birds that story truly scared me. I have some of my birds harness trained, the others are too skiddish to come outside with me but that kind of story is a perfect reason to A. Harness train or B. Free flight train your birds and not keep their wings clipped. Non bird owners won’t understand it but wing clipping is very controversial for bird owners but keeping them flighted and having them be able to fly away from situations like in the story is super duper important and the best for the birds health. I’m glad it ended fairly well though.

The stories where there's a serious situation like a home invasion and they say the 911 operater hangs up, makes me think it's not true. That's not usually the case. They stay on the line until help arrives.
I want to believe you, honestly, but I’ve had multiple cops & 911 operators blow me off. Including when my estranged brother became a violent stalker intent on physically & sexually assaulting me. Even when he was trying to actively break in. They have no actual legal obligation to protect us, and more often than not, the legal system neglects rural / poor / etc. areas more than anyone would like to think. If you’re additionally marginalized, forget it! We aren’t high on their priorities list. ):

story 2 - 911 responder hang up when u have intruder in your house? sounds like big fat fake lie, they have the duty to stay on the line with you till the police come.
Joel, you should narrate books on Audible. I can't stand the way some people narrate the books on there. Sometimes it ruins the entire book just from the way it's read! I've listened to your podcast for a long time and I think whatever you read I'd listen too.

It always shocks me with how many people's parents don't believe them. I would straight believe my child. Even if they lied. I don't want my child eaten by the proverbial wolf.
That story with the German guy actually had me shaking I was so mad not only did that asshole let his dog off the leash on purpose to attack her and her bird and laughed about it but then he tried to attack her and on top of all that he had the balls to tell her to take better care of her pet. I love dogs and all animals and I know it’s not the dogs fault but if I had to protect my own pet it would be really hard for me but I would have punted that dog. Like I said kicking the dog would be really hard for me to do but punting that guys teeth to the back of his skull would have made me feel a lot better in fact that would be an absolute pleasure.
You thought you were being watched... So your brilliant idea was to light up your entire house, entirely restricting visibility to any potential “watchers” while simultaneously ensuring you're on full display, sorta like that of a fishbowl?👌👍
Unfortunatly, piece of work that took his dog of the leash & asked "do you know who I am" is likely to get the dog hurt vs having his understanding properly corrected.
