nice.

I did the thing I’ve never won anything I hope I win 😞

I can kind of empathize with story #3, my cat was shot and nearly killed by my neighbour who claimed he had mistaken him for a raccoon, but he looks almost nothing like a raccoon except for the fact he's black and white..
It was terrifying since i was only 6 at the time and we almost had to put him down
Luckily we could save him and 12 years later he's still my happy little motor
I'm so happy your kitty is okay. Someone poisoned mine a few months ago. I rasied her after finding her on the streets with a dislocated hip and she lived to be only 3 years. I miss her so much.
@@gabrijelamagdalenic8683 that’s absolutely horrible! I’m so sorry 😢
@@gabrijelamagdalenic8683 im sorry dear, losing a pet is always painful. I loved all my pets like family.
I am glad to hear your cat is still alive. I have an amazing tomcat, and if anyone ever harmed him, I would come out of it with all of my knuckles broken, but well worth it...
Well did the neighbor go to jail or at least sued? I'm assuming you're not still living next to a neighbor that shoots at cats 😉
So if the meat was human flesh The milk was human milk. What was the potatoes?? That's nuts that is. 😳
At 32:28 I'm confused why she did that. Maggots actually keep wounds free of necrotic tissue and infection, leaving them probably would have not been the end of the world, they were probably what was keeping her from getting sepsis. Pouring gasoline on her wound was actually a very bad idea.
The use of kerosene to heal wounds was common in some rural Latin American towns. At least that was the custom 50 years ago. I have never been able to find a medical reference for or against this custom.
I doubt she would have known that, surprisingly few people do.
I'm glad you noticed this too. I just pointed out the same thing.

Got yourself caught in a little glitch at the end there!
1st story. Woman 36 was charged with killing and beheading Deborah mee.
Creepy still, 2 days before she was found, myself & partner were in Salcombe travelling in camper, and pulled up for a night near those woods! 🙈
The Romanian mountains story really spooked me! I grew up in the nearest big city around the Rodna mountains (Bistrița) and I used to go every summer for a week or two to stay with my cousins who lived in Sângeorz-Băi ( a city right at the base of the mountains) but I never heard this story about actual people who lived or have been living there. And I remember how much we climbed those mountains!!😳 we hiked to Ineu’s peak every summer and to Pietrosul’s peak maybe twice.. wow…😮
I don't believe it...
That's awesome! I bet it was beautiful
"I thought it was a deer" was them trying to minimize and pass off blame in that situation. But as hunters it was their responsibility to be sure, it was their responsibility to know where they were and what they were hunting. Just a few feet and they would have shot OP. It doesn't matter that they "thought the horse was a deer" they are too stupid to be allowed to hunt.
To hit someting in the eye you need to see its head... They damn well knew it was a horse.
@@im3phirebird81so you think they shot a horse, knowing that 1)they would expect to go to jail even though they didn't and 2)they would've known they wouldn't be allowed to eat the horse meat because it's the scene of a fucking crime? Nah it was obviously a stupid mistake.
@@im3phirebird81They sure did!! Changed his whole Life! This Infuriates me!!
I agree if I couldn't tell it was a deer I wouldn't have shot. Where I live a man I go to church with was shot in the head and killed turkey hunting. The guy who shot him lived out of state and just left, leaving us all to wonder what happened. It was a good 24-48 hours before they found his corpse. They finally tracked the shooter down but he walked without charge because he claimed it an accident and it might gave been but not an unpreventablle accident. This left a 20 year old woman and a 2 year old kid as a widow and fatherless. All because someone didn't make sure what he shot. Our state passed a new law making it criminal for someone to leave the scene as this shooter did. It was a horrible mess! I personally think the shooter should have gotten some jail time.

Good stories. The one that upset me the most was the one bout Custer. Poor horse. That makes me so mad.
My heart hurts for that poor girl and Custard. What kind of moron sees a cremello (which is almost a white color for anyone who doesnt know) and thinks it's a deer?
Possible that they saw the white and thought it was the tail of deer.. Whitetail deer is the predominant species of deer in America. No excuse for taking such a shot though, one is always responsible for what they're bullet hits, so not verifying with absolute certainty your target but also what's behind your target is reckless and irredeemable.
@@colinkillian9265 If the story is true, it's pretty much impossible to mistake a horse for a deer. Your white tail hypothesis isn't likely; the tail of a deer is so small in comparison to that of a horse and you can't mistake a tail for a mane. They're either complete and utter retards, or they killed it on purpose.
@@colinkillian9265 except they were in England
@@ImaKhunt007 hmmm, point taken..

To the men who killed Custer, there is a special place in hell reserved just for you 2.
To Julianna, you are so brave & so amazing.
Shooting an animal isn’t an accident
Trying to research that first story. It's very depressing how many women have been killed, left in bin bags in various places there actually are in the UK. I'm not sure I've even found this particular murder yet either.
The woman murdered was 67year old Mee Kuen Chong, aka Deborah. She was murdered in North West London by 36 year old Jemma Mitchell. After Mitchr murdered her she took the decapitated body to woodland 250 miles away in Devon.
@@mrfletcher7708 wow that's awful. And a woman killed her? That's very unusual, I wonder what happened to cause that. I'll look into it a bit more. Thank you for the details about the poor victim. Rip to her
That's why you guys should legalize concealed carrying. You can't always rely on law enforcement for protection, expecially in isolated places, people you meet there are always weird (I mean really weird) and as a female you have no way of protecting yourself from really any male other than some sort of long ranged weapon.
@@highwaydaytime7669 Oh my God, you guys have problems. I read your comment and assumed what you said about a female killing being very unusual in the UK and assumed it was wrong however I searched it up to do research on it. My God 93% of the UK's killers are men, that's CRAZY. I tried to find statistics for the US however I couldn't even find any.
England not uk
I think those hunters had resentment against the sight of snobby "horsey set" rich girls in English riding gear posting their asses up and down on what they saw as what should be their hunting grounds so they took the shot. It's possible they just intended to spook the horse and send the "entitled little bitch" on a terrifying ride, but the head shot was awfully clean for such a mitigating explanation...
They probably didn’t even see her. She’s 12, probably small so they probably thought “fukn snobby people and their horse” and decided to kill the horse. But yeah I agree with ya.
Unfortunately, there have been a couple of those incidents here in Colorado for people riding western style. It's always an out of state hunter and they always say the same excuse. "Thought it was an elk or a deer". Litterally how?
If it was deliberate, they would have left before getting caught. They would have been foolish to stay behind. They approached the site of the shooting because they actually believed they shot game.
@@kitfisto1827 or because they heard a child screaming.
@@kitfisto1827 You're right. It seems like an accident especially depending on time of day. Some of these people who have never been hunting want to give animals mortgages.
I feel so bad for the lady and her horse story. I agree, those men knew what they were doing and should never be allowed near any form of weapons again.
I'm honestly shocked that they didn't get more punishment, if they had missed on any way she could have been the one dead.
Deer hunters don't shoot for the head either. Heart or lungs.
Donovan Donnegan This thought makes me really suspicious of it too. Hunters don't shoot for the head because it's such a small target and easier to miss and make the animal suffer. If they had truly mistaken the horse for a deer they wouldn't have gone for the head.
Any experienced hunter would absolutely know the difference between a horse and a deer. What complete monsters.
Yeah I don't blame her for going pescatarian.
This is why I carry a gun with me everytime I go in the woods. Not a lot out there you can't kill or injure with 7.62x54r or .223 ap rounds
There isn't an armor piercing 223 round. But I agree with the 7.62 taking out most of what you'd run into out there.
Living in England must suck
Joel, thank you for alleviating so many bland hours of my life. 🙌👏👏👏🔥
As an animal and horse lover, the custard story made me cry. I hope the men who shot the horse bump into karma in the worst way. I hope the lady gets back in the saddle. My heart goes out to her. Ruth. England
They where irresponsible and I'm sure they where punished accordingly. Accidents can happen, given that they ran to the kid screaming and waited for the authorities would lead me to believe that they weren't malicious. Had they wanted too, they could have just ran back into the forest and made their way back to their vehicle. It would have taken quite awhile for rangers to arrive to the scene and would have been virtually impossible to locate and charge them. Obviously had they killed the kid the state may have used more resources to track down these hunters, but for a horse they most definitely would not..
I'm Romanian and can honestly say that the barman was right about what happened and what some people in those mountains do... Granted, villagers are awesome, the problem people are brigands that reside in the mountains.
Edit: The cannibalism is definitely not true and people in the mountain villages are simple and nice people.
I never knew we had cannibals! LOL
La care munți se face referire?
If that whole story is real, my guess would be the barman was scaring them on purpose lol
Human beings have a tendency to 'embellish' stories...

Ok yes the hunters were reckless BUT it is never a good idea to go horse riding during hunting season and if you insist then wear bright orange both you and your horse !!!!
I agree
Or don't hunt animals
The story about Custard made me so incredibly sad. You should NEVER shoot something if you can’t tell what animal it is unless it’s for self defense. A mini pony doesn’t look like a deer, even if he was tan. How did they not see a bridle or even the whole child on the back of him?? makes absolutely no sense. they saw the kid and didn’t care because they’re insane.
They are sociopaths...did it for the thrill...
And should be excited. PAY their karma
@@lydiapetra1211 I agree, they got off easy, it's about time animals are thought of as a life, which they are, not just property!
The Carpathian mountain story had me chuckling a little bit. Just a bit over 24 hours without food and this author is making it sound like they were on death's door. We modern humans are so soft.
Dont forget those romanian cannibals 😁
Yes! Do more "broke down in the middle of nowhere" also....👻

Oh my Gosh! My heart is shattered for the little girl who witnessed her poor pony ‘Custard’s’ murder! I can’t even imagine what she went through and still does go through, as I’m an INTENSE animal lover as well. I cannot bear witnessing or even thinking about animal cruelty and suffering…like, so much so that it bothers me at least as much(if not more) than human suffering! My heart hurts for you, Custard and your human girl…🥺 THAT is true horror for me!
I agree I feel so upset after hearing this story. I love animals I can't imagine what this young girl went through.

Dude thank you sooooo much for this!!!! I LOVE your Missing 411, Appalachian Trail, Bigfoot, Middle of Nowhere Stories, and the True Story series that I'm almost half way through. The story with the horse definitely wasn't an accident
Exactly.
Humans are scarier than any paranormal ghost ever
yes indeed. paranormal stories suck
Takes a lot to creep me out but this one did it, particularly the cannibal story and the bow and arrow story.
I am from Romania and never heard of such a case! This is just bs.
I'd love to find a bag of money any day, than a dead body. That's so creepy, it's definitely not something I'd like to find. I'd be traumatised forever

The thumbnail is just so cool 😎
Second story got me like ugh, and not only because of what could’ve happened to the tourists. I was already cringing when that superior tone of “stupid inbred locals” kicked in. As someone from one of those Central European countries, I’m honestly sick of Americans (I assume the author is from the States) thinking it’s all Hostel past Paris.
I’m not saying the villagers didn’t have bad intentions, they clearly did. I’m saying the author called them dumb and inbred before any interaction even. Smh.
They stated the children were strange acting and malformed. Even if it's malnutrition of some sort of environmental toxicity, if they're too poor to provide a gestating fetus with nutrition, why would they have a sufficient breeding pool?
@Natural I'm always split between whether the people who go on reddit and write out these stories are just stupid oversocialized Hylics and so their rendition of events and manner of storytelling reflects that nature and conditioning, or, if they're made up. The tragedy is, I can't decide one way or another.
My guess is that the storyteller was British in that he called the other guys in his hiking group "lads." Americans don't do that.
His use of torch to describe a flashlight would lead me to assume that the author is from the UK..
It's just a ghost story there were no generalisations going on. Relax.
Some monsters just assume that anything that walks on 4 legs is a free kill. Such devilry shouldn't be allowed to breed.
Yeah I agree.
Two legs is fair game also 😈
Exactly

I hate the bird song at the end. Wakes me up every time. Please Joel release them and just give us a low tone.
I am just about to go to bed so this is great timing! I was just googling that first story (the victim is called Mee Kuen Chong). It sounds like an odd case as the accused is a young woman who is alleged to have killed her miles away in London.
I was kind of wondering about that story because I’ve never heard someone from the UK call running shoes actual running shoes. I thought they were known as trainers. I was wondering about the phone as well, but the story doesn’t give a date. Did he have a smart phone or an old-school flip phone? If he had a smart phone he could just look up his location on maps. I don’t know something just tells me this is not a first hand account of the story
@@SoCalRegisteredNurse I think you might be right. The news stories didn’t mention how she was found which is something they always mention. Articles often seem to start with something like, “a dog walker found…” etc. The running shoes thing might be them trying to make it understandable for an American audience. I have heard the word ‘flashlight’ used in a couple of these stories by Brits and I have never heard a Brit use that word in real life.
@@TheLondonLass I listened again and the date was given so I was wrong. It said 2015 so I imagine he could’ve had a phone that told him his location, therefore he was not “lost.” I don’t believe this is his story
EDIT: I listened again and he said last June. I’m not sure where I heard 2015 from 🤪 I’m a tad distracted today. Husband went off on me yesterday out of nowhere when I sent him a video of a raccoon on our porch 🤷🏼♀️ He was stressed about “everything.” I asked “what’s everything? Please be more specific.” He couldn’t name what was stressing him out. I said “ok.” I wanted to say “chill, go play some COD or go take a nap or something” but I didn’t want to poke the bear. He apologized this morning but I’m giving him lots and lots of space. Anyway, several other people on this post said that murder had been solved and who did it
@@SoCalRegisteredNurse he may not have had service where he was. I'm an avid hunter and I've been in the woods with no signal plenty of times!
@@ryanhicks632 But he said he called the police. Maybe I need to listen to it again, but I’m still doubting this is a first hand account. I live in WA and I know once you get to the sticks you lose reception, or it’s spotty at best

Aw heck yeaa lol can't watch the live streams anymore chat is mad annoying
I live in Washington state and stories like these make me never want to do any outdoor activities 😭 I love you and your content
Hey so do I! It’s Saturday and we finally had a decent day of weather
So do I and I swear I'm never going in the woods again 🤪
Prerecorded? You mean I was destined to live the life I have with no alterations?? O M G! Of course, there's no way to prove or disprove that theory. On to missing people, precious few went missing because they wanted to start a new life, etc. On the other hand, one minute they're walking a well-used trail with friends, they round a small bend and... poof, gone forever. It's happened hundreds, if not thousands of times across the world and there's simply no explanation. Don't become one of them, stay away from national and state parks. But, if you do go, stay very close to your friend, scout master, group or buddy. BTW, you can explore nearly everywhere on the planet in the comfort of your favorite chair. Just watch UA-cam.
You think you're describing some sort of Godlike omnipresence fantasy, you're actually describing a sort of living death. The world is dangerous, you can fail, you can die. So what.
A real shame about that poor girl’s pony
I feel so terrible for the person with the horse story :( I love animals so much, I can see why they’re so traumatized…
Hunter here, lol you can't confuse a horse with a deer. That's a 600-1000lb animal vs a 200lb(at most on average) animal. It's STOOPID illegal to shoot at anything you don't know the gender and species of anyways 😒

I'm not sure they are super interesting, from what I've heard/experienced it's all just: monster somewhere just out of sight, pulls down blanket, worst case it lies down next to you and you get to see it. Stories of cannibalism are pretty much never true. That's a common accusation for more "primitive" communities. I'm interested that it was Romania, though, because my creepiest experience in Europe was in a Romanian mountain pass, driving through an absolutely gutted town that we later found out used to mine uranium. The stream running down the side of the road was red for a few miles afterwards, even past inhabited houses with kids, so I wonder what their lives are like.
Our lives are just like yours. Don't know what's so hard to understand about that.
Wait to see our diamond rivers :)))

Hell yea, love woods stories
As for story 5.
As a Christian dude, I would most definetly take my Bible as an essential no matter what.
So its not that uncommon to take it with.
Sounds like you're in a cult
The horse one was absolutely devastating. My first mare and I used to ride alone in the woods every day. Imagining what that poor kiddo felt, knowing the love we have for our horses (especially us horse crazy kiddos who practically worshiped the ground our horses walked on) makes me sick to my stomach.
Did you... Change the way you record your voice or something? It sounds... Weird. Like the bass is messing with the natural baritones of your voice. Almost like a gentle deeper echo to it and it's just... Off. I like your natural voice much better. This sounds so strange now. I like your older recording style better. It really takes away from your natural voice and the story... Sorry. It just sounds like a robo-echo and I'm going to have to leave this video and go back to your older ones. This makes me sad.
Thank you ❤️
Anyone know what village it may have been in the second story?
Once you smell death you'll never ever forget, 45 years ago i was in the house where this old woman was murdered by one of her children. The body was removed to the corners office. The out line where her body wand found was still on the floor, but i still smell the decay odour i quickly got my tea tree oil & but a dab under my nose. This plays on my mine from time to time i even see her in my dreams although I have never seen her.
That lady that survived in the jungle for so long is a serious bad ass!
Please stop using fake stories. I love your narration but I can deal with these creepypastas. Unless you've always been like that and I just grew up
Yo Joel, thanks so much, I've been feeling really sick, like really really sick, after a long day, and out of nowhere, you hit me with a new notification, for my favorite type of stories, thanks for making me feel a little bit better.
Hope you're feeling better. 😷🤗
The first author spends way to much time talking about going wee
Too. It's too much.
If these are true stories where are the names dates locations, citations, etc ? I don't think any of your stories are real. I think you are faking these stories.
The story of the plane crash is actually based on a true story of a girl who was I think 15 when her and her mothers plane crashed and she was the only survivor.
That story about Custard is horrific. I feel so sorry for that girl!! Imagine seeing your beloved animal lying there with a bullet hole in its head and all of the gore associated with it. Especially at such a young age!! She was just a child and had to be exposed to something so truly traumatic.
It hits home for me personally because I’ve actually ridden through woods when hunters have been around. Thankfully, they’ve only been after pheasants, so wouldn’t aim their rifles at a four-legged creature trotting along the track. Plus they’re actual responsible hunters who know what they’re doing and know to be careful with the horses and riders.
New lets read video 😁
