Okay, so clearly I need to use more water in my oat milk for my soaps. Mine was super thick, lol, but it taste great! Gaw-geous as always my soapy sis!❤
Beautiful soap....so pure and simple!! I love using home made milks in my soap, have also made coconut milk and almond milk. Something that has help me is using a nut milk bag for straining the milks. They are a little sturdier than cheesecloth and reusable.
This is my favorite soap of yours! I'm so excited you'll have it back in your shop!!! I'm going to have to get on this!!!! I use it for my face and it doesn't dry, irritated, or make my face too oily. It's perfect. It's also gentle enough for sensitive areas. 🤭
So creamy looking. Thank you for sharing your process on making oat milk. Like Apple Berry mine got thick too. I will have to try your way. Thanks again. Enjoy your day!
Dying to try your recipe. Your soaps look so yummy. That music sound in the background when you’re cutting the soaps topped it off. What’s the name of it. Thank you for sharing!
Fairly new subscriber, and I loved this video. Thanks so much. When is your release date? I'd love to order more soap. DERRRR Nevermind I see the date now. Thanks will look forward to it. :D
@Ophelia’s Soapery ok so the oat milk added into it is extra water or water taken from recipe.. same thing with honey, you can put in when soaping, right? I want to make this soap next
I’m sure you could. But I would recommend freezing them into cubes and adding the lye slowly over the cubes and constantly stirring. When I add more than 5% to my batter it tends to overheat :(
@@OpheliasSoapery thats understandable, thank you. Ive only tried the cubes with goats milk, didn't even think to do the same with oatmeal. Another amazing video
Is there a reason why you cut your bars individually? No criticism intended. I’m a novice and I’m just curious. 😁👍 I really love your products and your channel.
Ophelia’s Soapery Yes that’s what I meant. Lol. Sorry for the confusion. I wasn’t sure if it was due to better precision or or something like that. Thanks for replying!
You can use any recipe. Just add oat milk :) I’ll try and post a video with a general recipe included soon. I added it once. The other you seen was titanium dioxide to lighten the batter.
Just as mesmerizing as the last one! I'm just recently discovering how AWESOME plant derived ingredients add to our soap.
Okay, so clearly I need to use more water in my oat milk for my soaps. Mine was super thick, lol, but it taste great! Gaw-geous as always my soapy sis!❤
Did you sieve it or leave the bits in? I'm thinking of leaving them in for exfoliating purposes..... 🤔

I am so in love with your soap making videos. They are simply relaxing and oh so satisfying.
Sasha Gonzalez I even love face palms when she does oopsies.
Thank you ☺️
You need to buy this soap. Just as satisfying as the videos. 💕

So luxurious! Your soap is a Labor of love for sure! ML!
💖💞How luxurious and beautiful looking!💞💖
Really love this one..😍so simple but so much nutrition for skin..
I'm not a fan of oat soap as I don't like chunks, but this looks natural and creamy, I love this one
I love this soap! I only have 1 bar left... I need to order again and soon. Soooo soothing.
I’m definitely going to have to keep this one in stock. It sold out almost instantly!
Could you tell me the release date for this one... I just might have to stick up🥰
Beautiful 😍 as always. Thank you for sharing ❤️
I love watching your videos, so relaxing. Presentation is on point. Soaps look beautiful!
Thank you ☺️
Simple and elegant . Beautiful ❤
That looks so creamy! Thanks for sharing.
I’m trying this soap. I hope it comes out as nice as yours did
I ran out of ur videos to watch lol. I’m gonna need u to put out a few vids a DAY!!!, 😂 😂 😂
Another awesome creation. I love your style. 🛀 Jen
The oat milk looks delish too!

Loved this video. It was relaxing just watching it. BTW, how much of the milk did you use?
I find that 5% is perfect for me. It doesn’t overheat but I’d still noticeable
@@OpheliasSoapery are you using this much for any other kind of milk?
It looks really creamy and luxurious xxx
These are perfect. Really nice.
Beautiful! Did you discount the milk from the liquid amount used in your lye water?
Yes I did :)
Fairly new subscriber, and I loved this video. Thanks so much. When is your release date? I'd love to order more soap. DERRRR Nevermind I see the date now. Thanks will look forward to it. :D
Hi Julie. I have a question. Do you account for the oat milk as water?
I don’t only because I use such a steep water discount anyway. I use a 1.5 water:lye ratio.
Simply luscious 💗
Hi Julie your video and soaps are so relaxing to watch.
Can you tell me what is the size of mixer vessel to be used for this batch size
The container I used was a 12quart
@@OpheliasSoapery thanks for your response. I invested in the Triple tall mould as shared in your link 💖
That’s great! I use a 6quart container for that mold :)
@@OpheliasSoapery thanks Julie. Will book it.
I love your videos! Peacefully informative. Did you add the milk to the water the oats were soaked in?
Thank you ☺️
I used fresh water.
Can I not use the oat milk made by the process you showed as the substitute for the water portion in which the lye will be mixed?
What are the oils and essential oils used in this recipe?
I so badly wanted to bite down on one of those bars. 😬😆
I love watching your videos
Hi Opehelia. Would you mind sharing where you got your soap mold and log splitter? Thank you and love your videos.
We made the mold and the splitter is in the description box :)
Relaxing music too..
Do you use any preservatives? Will oat milk go bad if soap isn't used ?
No I don’t. It will not go bad. Soap does not need a preservative :)
@Ophelia’s Soapery ok so the oat milk added into it is extra water or water taken from recipe.. same thing with honey, you can put in when soaping, right? I want to make this soap next
Most to like your soap cutter. would you please to let me how to buy? thanks.
Links are in the description box :)
@@OpheliasSoapery Thanks and let me check
Simply beautiful ❤️
I love this soap, I want to make some, but do you put yours through gel stage or can I skip that and put it in the freezer overnight?
I gel all my soaps. But if you don’t want to you don’t have to :)
@@OpheliasSoapery
Yours don't overheat?
Nope. But it depends on how much oat milk you use. I use 5% so it’s not enough to make mine overheat.
@@OpheliasSoapery thank you!
@@OpheliasSoapery you use 5% oat milk?
I really love your soap videos. Can i ask something plz. Do you reduce your lye water when you use oatmilk in your soap ?
Yes I will reduce it. If I use 12 oz of milk. I’ll deduct 12pz of water.
@@OpheliasSoapery many thanks for the anwer. Im so gratefull to you....
LOVE IT!!! ❤️
Do you use the initial water the oats were soaked in? Awesome video. Thanks!
No I discard the soaking water :)
Beautiful
Oh am so going to make this one
great✨😍 do u think that it well works for a beginner ?? my first time do a soap making 🤔🤔 plz replay me
I would go with something very simple for your first soap :)
Ophelia’s Soapery do u have a vid for me?
Does this technique impart the same benefits as adding colloidal oatmeal to a soap recipe?
It would be different. Add both! :)
Good Morning. I loved the production. Could you describe the recipe step by step and mention the ingredients used?
I’ll try to make a video soon with a recipe included:)
@@OpheliasSoapery
Your soaps are fabulous
lpve your soap demos just trying to find some soap for my older dry skin that is sensitive to reg soap in stores
Could I use the oat milk as part of the lye mixture instead of water?
I’m sure you could. But I would recommend freezing them into cubes and adding the lye slowly over the cubes and constantly stirring. When I add more than 5% to my batter it tends to overheat :(
@@OpheliasSoapery thats understandable, thank you. Ive only tried the cubes with goats milk, didn't even think to do the same with oatmeal. Another amazing video
so is there anything specific we need to add to the soap base when the water base is been mixed into? would it split up otherwise?
As long as you’re using the correct amount of lye, water and oils and blend until it’s a thick consistency it will work out just fine :)
This beat makes me sooo emotional
Is there a reason why you cut your bars individually? No criticism intended. I’m a novice and I’m just curious. 😁👍 I really love your products and your channel.
Hi Kevin! I’m not sure what you mean 🤔
Do you mean how some soapers use a multi bar cutter? I don’t have one 😬
Ophelia’s Soapery Yes that’s what I meant. Lol. Sorry for the confusion. I wasn’t sure if it was due to better precision or or something like that. Thanks for replying!
Kevin M I wish I had a multibar cutter. I think the precision would be more accurate for sure! ❤️
Beautiful as always dont know why anyone would thumbs down 💖💖💖💖
Nice soap 💖 Why filtered water and not distilled?
I suppose you could use distilled. I just think it tastes weird lol 😬
oh I love the oat milk ones!!
btw did you take some of your videos down? I can't find some of them, like the Rose Gold :p
I didn’t film the Rose Gold Making :/
@@OpheliasSoapery oh, maybe it was just wishful thinking then lol. It's gorgeous anyway!
Opehelia is my mothers name speeded Ofelia🙃 your the first soaper I've seen that you added TD to lye water, was that to color? Beautiful soap
I like to add it to the lye water when I want the entire batch a lighter shade :)
Wonderful!!
Beautiful, what kind of oats do you use?
Thank you ☺️I used regular old fashioned oats.
@@OpheliasSoapery Next question hot Distilled water, or just room temp? Thank you for sharing this with us
Jackie's Bubbles You’re so welcome! it was room temperature :)
Wonderful
Wow,
*soap is trending*
What scent did u use
Does anyone know why she used titanium dioxide? I've never heard of it used in soaps before 😲 what does it do?
It acts as a white color.
Do u do curing? for how long?
Yes you have to cure Cold Process Soap. 4 weeks :)
What sort of fragrances? I want to imagine the smell!
It’s close to a Oatmeal milk and honey. Just a tiny bit different :)
Can I use goat’s milk instead of lye?
You can use goats milk instead of oat milk. But you will still need the lye :)
for how many weeks do you cure this soap?
4 weeks :)
What's the purpose of the walnut hull powder?
I just love the way it looks in soap 😬
Is there a recipe for this that I can print off?
You can use any cold process recipe. Just add oat milk to it :)
So aesthetically pleasing ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Is there a recipe for this that I can print off? I would love to try making this! ❤️
is that eatable?
No :)
@@OpheliasSoapery really ? what it is used for then?
omg 😂 i didn't read all the title i thought that it's a milk recipe 😂 now i knew that its a soap😂🤦🏻♂️
