    Okay, so clearly I need to use more water in my oat milk for my soaps. Mine was super thick, lol, but it taste great! Gaw-geous as always my soapy sis!❤

      Did you sieve it or leave the bits in? I'm thinking of leaving them in for exfoliating purposes..... 🤔

    Beautiful soap....so pure and simple!! I love using home made milks in my soap, have also made coconut milk and almond milk. Something that has help me is using a nut milk bag for straining the milks. They are a little sturdier than cheesecloth and reusable.

    This is my favorite soap of yours! I'm so excited you'll have it back in your shop!!! I'm going to have to get on this!!!! I use it for my face and it doesn't dry, irritated, or make my face too oily. It's perfect. It's also gentle enough for sensitive areas. 🤭

      I find that 5% is perfect for me. It doesn’t overheat but I’d still noticeable

      I don’t only because I use such a steep water discount anyway. I use a 1.5 water:lye ratio.

    Do you use any preservatives? Will oat milk go bad if soap isn't used ?

      No I don’t. It will not go bad. Soap does not need a preservative :)

      @Ophelia’s Soapery ok so the oat milk added into it is extra water or water taken from recipe.. same thing with honey, you can put in when soaping, right? I want to make this soap next

    I love this soap, I want to make some, but do you put yours through gel stage or can I skip that and put it in the freezer overnight?

      Nope. But it depends on how much oat milk you use. I use 5% so it’s not enough to make mine overheat.

      Yes I will reduce it. If I use 12 oz of milk. I’ll deduct 12pz of water.

    Could I use the oat milk as part of the lye mixture instead of water?

      I’m sure you could. But I would recommend freezing them into cubes and adding the lye slowly over the cubes and constantly stirring. When I add more than 5% to my batter it tends to overheat :(

    so is there anything specific we need to add to the soap base when the water base is been mixed into? would it split up otherwise?

      As long as you’re using the correct amount of lye, water and oils and blend until it’s a thick consistency it will work out just fine :)

      Yes you have to cure Cold Process Soap. 4 weeks :)

      You can use any recipe. Just add oat milk :)
      I’ll try and post a video with a general recipe included soon.
      I added it once. The other you seen was titanium dioxide to lighten the batter.

      I added it after I added the fragrance oil.. :)
