Why I wondered, while people are staying and obtaining every benefit from that country and seeing its disadvantages, they are not stopping there and further discouraging other people. As an example, this video mention about high tax system but she doesn't mention the long-term benefit of the taxes. Of course, countries like New Zealand and Australia can't compare with the Indian political system and other infrastructures and facilities. I can't understand why she did not research those disadvantages before settling in New Zealand.

New Zealand can be a tough place to live, but as compared to India in terms of earning and running family, I believe it's easier to survive in New Zealand once you get a job than living in India. I have lived in NZ for 6 years, that's why I feel this.

Your video came up randomly on my you tube and I would like to say that I don’t agree with you except for only one point that’s distance from India but then no body travels to India from overseas on monthly basis. Getting a job is not hard as long as you have done your ground work before coming to New Zealand. You need to have the experience, good communication and confidence to get the right job. You can be highly qualified and get a job easily if you have the skills and experience. You don’t have to start from scratch. Weather in Auckland or most of the parts of north island is quite moderate and good when compared to most of the western countries. You see all four seasons in a year and summers are amazing unlike in extreme climate countries. Even winter isn’t too harsh. If people are not happy in New Zealand they should explore out and then perhaps will know how good it is. One of the best countries to be in during covid situation especially for kids. People who don’t do good ground work before moving overseas will only find flaws and be unhappy. Auckland is number 27 in expensive cities so cost of living is still not that high. Also you need to do your work by yourself in pretty much any western country you move to from India because labour is not as cheap as in India. Every ones journey is different and shouldn’t be made so general. I would have preferred if you would have given pros and cons. No offence meant but like you have a right of freedom to express and allowed comments - I have too expressed my views.

Video is predominately made for South Asian community. 1) Almost majority of work experience is not accepted here except for those who have worked for MNC or listed company. 2) Working in specific field where major skills are not required you may get job without work experience. 3) Your point of view over climate is predominately compared to Canada or other western countries however video based on target audience. They all come from Tropical weathers that is much more stable. Hence, comparing with even worst country makes no sense. Just compare with place people come from with NZ. 4) Thirdly again you comparing labour with Western country. In fact, I'm again comparing difference from their home country to NZ. "Getting job in NZ is not easy" Lol. Untrue. For a person who came here on work visa directly because NZ didn't have any locals skilled enough for my role, I'd like to squash this 'rumour'. NZ is a very diverse job market with ample opportunities for many occupations. Problem is most Indians try and come here for 'menial' and low paying jobs for which there is no skill required. Drivers, waiting and front desk staff, cleaners etc. NZ has stopped entertaining overseas workers for such positions due to excessive exploitation of the system. If you're one of them (which I'm assuming the video creator is - then its true, NZ is not for you :) ) Apart from this, I also disagree with the statement about the weather being a problem. Of all the countries I've lived in, NZ is easily the best weather all year round that I seen. "You won't get a job straight away with your qualification and expertise as a doctor or an engineer" I can't stress enough how wrong this statement is. Only some trades require a qualifying exam and you dont start at a base level even after that exam. I don't know where this person is getting her facts from. "No maids no helpers" Do you get maids in AU or Canada or US or any Eu country? Any developed nation has minimum wage caps which makes affording maids and personal cleaners unfeasible. So I don't see how your point about not being able to get maids here is again rational. Hi , It looks like you are repeating the same-thing that I have said. 1) I've already mentioned that low paying jobs are easy to get however skilled jobs are bit difficult. 2) You won't get to operate on a patient without having doctor degree recognised here. I have been living in NZ for last 13 years . Life could be challenging in the beginning beacuse of cultural differences and adjusting to weather but this could be anywhere in the world even migrating with in India from South to North or West to East or vice a versa. I can confidentaly say that life is beautiful once you are settled down. Offcourse this lady is talking about her own experience .
Whether in Asian countries are more stable. they don't have summer winter rain all in one single day. NZ is excellent country to stay in , however for those who cannot stay without family or prefer helpers at home. Its really not for them.

These reasons were pretty much the same with European countries as well. Cleaning by yourself, High Taxes, Harsh weather. In return, you will get a quality of life, better education + health, and a good work environment with work-life balance.

I don't agree with some points 1. There is a shortage of skilled people and job opportunities has been great in last 1-1.5 years. It was not always true but things has been changed because of border restrictions. 2. Whether: Nz has great weather and having different weather in different cities. When I visited New Zealand, I immediately felt the lack of options and resources: no world class universities, no Venture Capitals and incentives for startups and entrepreneurs, no significant Hi-Tech industry, much lower per Capita income, limited heavy industries and jobs, no world-class research, and for a small country with only 5 million people, the real estate is improportionately expensive.

There is casual racism in NZ but you have to develop thick skin and not take it to heart too much because there is a lot of good kind people too so its not a major issue.

Nice video..I have recently moved to UK and can say this with personal experience that Indian work experience is definitely counted in UK and if you are a VP in India it wouldn't take you long to move to that level . Weather is same as mentioned in this video about NZ. But distance wise UK is just 9 hours away with direct flight.
London is a bigger city and with the no of companies, its definitely bit easy. I know many out there who's got great jobs coming from India. NZ is small and the number of companies are limited.

Very good and valuable information. I had been to New Zealand twice to see my sister. What you said is true 100 percent. Now madam pl. include housing is the biggest problem, it is beyond affordability of common public, government also helpless because of wrong policies, no capital gain taxes etc., only helping the real estate promotors, 70 percent of earnings goes for rental of house, even to get house also on rent is very very difficulty. I consider number one reason as housing crisis. I strongly recommend to consider all the above facts before planning to migrate to NZ.

Countries have specific policy on drones. You have to visit nz aviation website in regards to law on drones, you may also have to keep yourself updated because they may change.
At least in New Zealand kids can learn to swim, kids can play different sports, in summer and winter, have more opportunities at school, experience different seasons, learn to fish, enjoy swimming in the ocean or fresh water lakes etc. Sure our small isolated country is not for every one and believe me I am really thankful for that, as I don’t want it getting any more crowded, thus if you don’t like it leave and don’t come back.

you forgot about the medical system. The infrastructure isn't good. All GPs close by 5, and if anything happens after that, you go to the hospitals, where you have to wait 5-6 hours to see a doctor. Also, not all doctors are very experienced, due to the small population. Also facility to have your parents over for a long term is not there. Australia gives PRs, 3 yr, 5yr, 10yr visas for parents. Also everything is very expensive in NZ, as very few things grow there, and a lot of it is imported from Fiji, Australia and US. House rents are eye watering as well.
@@ruchikadparihar That is true, but it depends howmuch you earn. If you are a student from a different country, then it's not easy. House rents are sky high, amd food and everything is very expensive too as they are all imported. Also, you are not earning a lot, as you have a limit on how many hours you can work. Same goes for people starting a new job as a graduate hire, as your starting salary isn't too much. To have a comfortable life, both the husband and wife need to have decent salary. Also buying a house is now a distant dream, with house prices being near million dollars, and interest rates being sky high at the same time. So, the rent prices are going even higher. So, ultimately you save lot less towrds your house savings. Also these are not because of taxes, but these are things being expensive as everything is imported. But, if I were to go back to get where I had left, 5 years back, and if everything is like what it was 5 years back, then I would definitely take it. Now there too many issues. The biggest one being berglery, car jacking. NZ used to be counted as one of the safest, if not the safest in the world. Now I doubt it. In the last 5 years, a lot of these types of things have already happened with my friends back there. One person's jaw almost got broken, when he was punched in the face, while they snatched his laptop away, when he was returning home from work. The others say, that now some people tease girls/women when they walk by, and rob the shops, in the CBD of Wellington. This is like living in India or any other 3rd world country. The police also does not do too much to resolve the issue.
You want the privilege of living in a 1st world country with 3rd world expenses... my suggest pack your bags and leave. Go back to India where you can earn 100 rupees a day and pay 50 rupees to see a GP in order to purchase 20 rupees medication.

Your video came up randomly on my you tube and I would like to say that I don’t agree with you except for only one point that’s distance from India but then no body travels to India from overseas on monthly basis.
Getting a job is not hard as long as you have done your ground work before coming to New Zealand. You need to have the experience, good communication and confidence to get the right job. You can be highly qualified and get a job easily if you have the skills and experience. You don’t have to start from scratch. Weather in Auckland or most of the parts of north island is quite moderate and good when compared to most of the western countries. You see all four seasons in a year and summers are amazing unlike in extreme climate countries. Even winter isn’t too harsh. If people are not happy in New Zealand they should explore out and then perhaps will know how good it is. One of the best countries to be in during covid situation especially for kids. People who don’t do good ground work before moving overseas will only find flaws and be unhappy. Auckland is number 27 in expensive cities so cost of living is still not that high. Also you need to do your work by yourself in pretty much any western country you move to from India because labour is not as cheap as in India. Every ones journey is different and shouldn’t be made so general. I would have preferred if you would have given pros and cons. No offence meant but like you have a right of freedom to express and allowed comments - I have too expressed my views.

Video is predominately made for South Asian community.
1) Almost majority of work experience is not accepted here except for those who have worked for MNC or listed company.
2) Working in specific field where major skills are not required you may get job without work experience.
3) Your point of view over climate is predominately compared to Canada or other western countries however video based on target audience. They all come from Tropical weathers that is much more stable. Hence, comparing with even worst country makes no sense. Just compare with place people come from with NZ.
4) Thirdly again you comparing labour with Western country. In fact, I'm again comparing difference from their home country to NZ.

NZ is a very diverse job market with ample opportunities for many occupations. Problem is most Indians try and come here for 'menial' and low paying jobs for which there is no skill required. Drivers, waiting and front desk staff, cleaners etc. NZ has stopped entertaining overseas workers for such positions due to excessive exploitation of the system. If you're one of them (which I'm assuming the video creator is - then its true, NZ is not for you :) ) Apart from this, I also disagree with the statement about the weather being a problem. Of all the countries I've lived in, NZ is easily the best weather all year round that I seen.

Only some trades require a qualifying exam and you dont start at a base level even after that exam. I don't know where this person is getting her facts from.
"No maids no helpers" Do you get maids in AU or Canada or US or any Eu country? Any developed nation has minimum wage caps which makes affording maids and personal cleaners unfeasible. So I don't see how your point about not being able to get maids here is again rational.

1) I've already mentioned that low paying jobs are easy to get however skilled jobs are bit difficult.
2) You won't get to operate on a patient without having doctor degree recognised here. So again, nothing wrong in stating that.
3) The video is in hindi and mostly giving idea to residents of India and other neighbouring countries, hence I'm talking about servants considering people in Asian countries are very used to having maids.

1. There is a shortage of skilled people and job opportunities has been great in last 1-1.5 years. It was not always true but things has been changed because of border restrictions.

When I visited New Zealand, I immediately felt the lack of options and resources: no world class universities, no Venture Capitals and incentives for startups and entrepreneurs, no significant Hi-Tech industry, much lower per Capita income, limited heavy industries and jobs, no world-class research, and for a small country with only 5 million people, the real estate is improportionately expensive.

There is casual racism in NZ but you have to develop thick skin and not take it to heart too much because there is a lot of good kind people too so its not a major issue.

Nice video..I have recently moved to UK and can say this with personal experience that Indian work experience is definitely counted in UK and if you are a VP in India it wouldn't take you long to move to that level . Weather is same as mentioned in this video about NZ. But distance wise UK is just 9 hours away with direct flight.

Very good and valuable information. I had been to New Zealand twice to see my sister. What you said is true 100 percent. Now madam pl. include housing is the biggest problem, it is beyond affordability of common public, government also helpless because of wrong policies, no capital gain taxes etc., only helping the real estate promotors, 70 percent of earnings goes for rental of house, even to get house also on rent is very very difficulty. I consider number one reason as housing crisis. I strongly recommend to consider all the above facts before planning to migrate to NZ.
Yeap Tejshekar, you are right to the point. Housing has been absolutely difficult in NZ. However I must say if managed finance smartly , one can own a house. We're young couple and own more than 1 property in auckland.if we can do it so can others too. I'll make a video on housing market soon.

Countries have specific policy on drones. You have to visit nz aviation website in regards to law on drones, you may also have to keep yourself updated because they may change.

At least in New Zealand kids can learn to swim, kids can play different sports, in summer and winter, have more opportunities at school, experience different seasons, learn to fish, enjoy swimming in the ocean or fresh water lakes etc.

you forgot about the medical system. The infrastructure isn't good. All GPs close by 5, and if anything happens after that, you go to the hospitals, where you have to wait 5-6 hours to see a doctor. Also, not all doctors are very experienced, due to the small population. Also facility to have your parents over for a long term is not there. Australia gives PRs, 3 yr, 5yr, 10yr visas for parents. Also everything is very expensive in NZ, as very few things grow there, and a lot of it is imported from Fiji, Australia and US. House rents are eye watering as well.
Cost of living is really high, however its worth every penny you spend.
@@ruchikadparihar That is true, but it depends howmuch you earn. If you are a student from a different country, then it's not easy. House rents are sky high, amd food and everything is very expensive too as they are all imported. Also, you are not earning a lot, as you have a limit on how many hours you can work. Same goes for people starting a new job as a graduate hire, as your starting salary isn't too much. To have a comfortable life, both the husband and wife need to have decent salary. Also buying a house is now a distant dream, with house prices being near million dollars, and interest rates being sky high at the same time. So, the rent prices are going even higher. So, ultimately you save lot less towrds your house savings. Also these are not because of taxes, but these are things being expensive as everything is imported. But, if I were to go back to get where I had left, 5 years back, and if everything is like what it was 5 years back, then I would definitely take it. Now there too many issues. The biggest one being berglery, car jacking. NZ used to be counted as one of the safest, if not the safest in the world. Now I doubt it. In the last 5 years, a lot of these types of things have already happened with my friends back there. One person's jaw almost got broken, when he was punched in the face, while they snatched his laptop away, when he was returning home from work. The others say, that now some people tease girls/women when they walk by, and rob the shops, in the CBD of Wellington. This is like living in India or any other 3rd world country. The police also does not do too much to resolve the issue.
You want the privilege of living in a 1st world country with 3rd world expenses... my suggest pack your bags and leave. Go back to India where you can earn 100 rupees a day and pay 50 rupees to see a GP in order to purchase 20 rupees medication.
