It's not just about her offense which is stunning and unstoppable at almost all angles, but her defense, those skinny arms of hers are deceptively strong and long. And it's almost impossible to return her block because of the angle! Totally speechless. One of the best whole rounded striker I've seen thus far in VB.

@@jiesu3769 WBSC u-18 baseball world cup in Korea , Taiwan just won world champion ( 2:1 beat USA ), China 11th. China got the wild card from WBSC. u-12, Taiwan world champion. PONY league world series in the US, Taiwan won three champions ( u-12, u14 and u18 ), even u-11 in Japan, Taiwan champion again. beat Osaka 2:1. All happened this hot summer, August and early September. They are not monkeys, they just focus on different event, baseball ( even women's baseball -- last summer the ladies beat US, 4:3 in Florida , world cup ), not women's volleyball. You can find those Chinese Taipei baseball videos on YT. Or check out WBSC ( world baseball softball confederation ) website.

Zhu ting is an AMAZING player. When genetics meet athleticism😁
However, the best volleybelle for me will always be mireya luis of CUBA. Not the tallest hitter but she jumps like no one else I've ever seen plus the 3 consecutive olympic gold medals(1992, 1996, 2000) with perhaps the greatest team of all time(cuba in the 90s to early 2000s).
Zhu is perhaps on her way in equalling that. Perhaps another CHINA vs SERBIA in the 2020 olympic women's volleyball final again??

@@joniecana2992 each of them commands a salary of 1M $ or € each. Personally, it woukd be great to distribute talent than just pooling them in 1 team. It's good that they're all playing in different teams.

She's so tall, she doesn't even use the standard approach to hit the ball!
That's the standard Chinese approach:
- more quiet approach,
- let ball get closer for better judgement and timing b4 jumping,
- more use of forearm speed,
- more use of wrist control,
- go for the spot instead of full power,
- shorten the spike action for more speed.
Players must have very good jumping ability for this approach.
Zhang Changning is the same but a weaker version.
Zhu is very consistent and hit out very rarely. Zhu is the modern version of Lang Ping. Zhu will be remember as the greatest hitter of all time.

Great player and team but everyone seems to forget that US blanked China at home in the VNL on their way to the gold just a few weeks ago.

Not true. There are players as tall as Zhu who aren't as good as she is. It also requires the ability to read the block and defense before and as you are hitting it. The ability to change your arm swing and hand position to direct the ball. And then there is blocking and understanding the timing. It's not just height.
I am from Brazil. You're wrong. Zhu is currently the best player in the world. Her angles on attacking are insane and so is her strenght!
Tall and BETTER than any other tall or short attackers.
